One look at the Hindenburg kind of spoiled that idea for me. They are hopelessly impractical, because they are too slow, and far more difficult to land than an airplane.
Airships are still a thing and will probably be a common thing in the future. They're being developed to combat the carbon emissions that come from standard aircraft. There's already a couple in use by Lockheed Martin and Hybrid Air Vehicles. Check out the Airlander 10.
@@colinjames4230 Im going to look up Airlander 10 now. I think airships are really cool and I hope you are right. They seem to make sense to me without me being able to explain why. Sky buses? Going to work in one sounds nice.
My grandfather had worked for AT&T throughout the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. in Manhattan, NY. He routinely had to climb up to the very top of the Empire State Building’s spire to service the communication relays and this had to be done from the outside of it, wearing a harness and climbing gear.
That’s a flawed experiment due to hydrogen being used in airships at the time, no weight on the “balloon” itself nor to scale with the model of the city itself.
From what I understand (whether true or not), the Spire atop the Empire State Building works as a Lightning Rod, and was also a Communications Antenna. Plus, it was al about height as well...
Interesting fact, they used blimps/airships to travel in the late 1800s - early 1900s everywhere. Old homes were equiped with energy conductor points on there houses to charge these ships and to also keep them docked using Aether energy. They removed this from our history after WW2 I wonder why? The government won’t say the full use and story of why that point was put on the top Empire State Building though will they haha
I have seen dozens of pictures of dirigeables / Airships loading and unloading people at the tops of those buildings. I thought the first two or three were fake but I kept finding more. Some of them may have been photoshopped but there's way too many out there to have not happened.
The twin tower were not hit by any airplanes, airplane fuel does not melt steel!!! It was blown up on purpose to take away our freedoms and get more control over us. More is coming too look out!!!
Nothing new or revelatory here. In the race for tallest building, the Empire State had been caught off guard when the Chrysler Building’s spire was raised through its dazzling dome. The Empire State’s tower was primarily a quick, cost effective way to push it well into the lead as tallest building. The docking port was a trendy excuse, probably never seriously meant for real use.
so was there plans to build that swiveling structure would be the step to see if it was for built for blimps. Could the building support that structure!!!??? It looks cool as heck!!! What would it be called?!
Why not use two or three buildings so it is like a guyed mast and ability to adjust. Or in the midway on one of two cables. If you can build a modern bridge. A smaller permanent rigid transport ship like a modern cruise ship uses at smaller or busier ports. Best of all they can run on sustainable energy for when international travel by jet will be for the very rich and powerful.
“… a knee-high wall as the only barrier to a 1250 foot drop.” Um not exactly. You wouldn’t fall all the way to the ground because you’d land on the top of the building that sticks out 🤓
I think at the time of construction it was eluding too. Apparently the Empire State Building held the tallest skyscraper record from 1931 to 1971. Going off Wikipedias “History of the world's tallest buildings” page
It turned out to be impractical. It's hard enough landing an airship on the ground; but way up there, with stronger winds, it was nearly impossible. They tried two or three times, then gave up.
Can they show us the building being from the ground up without the scaffolding? Before the destruction of most old world buildings it was a time of granduar.
I am convinced that very very too round 360 view room at the top the the little knee foot high balcony .. is where the/an elite person/ people of the world live.. or something very very important or secret for a reason
I wish airships still were a thing. Looks so cool to travel on one.

To be on the ground and look up at one would be absolutely magnificent 💯

That wind tunnel experiment was the dumbest thing I’ve seen today
same
I'm with you there science was thrown out during that experiment
Agreed, that guy is dumber then a bag of hammers trying to promote a narrative he's paid to push.
That’s a flawed experiment due to hydrogen being used in airships at the time, no weight on the “balloon” itself nor to scale with the model of the city itself.
it was goofy ahhh
Should I tell him about the Tartarian Airships, or let him do his own research ??? 🤔

I think you are right. I remember watching some guy climb it for service work and I think he said what youre saying.

Agreed. This is obviously an ongoing narrative to hide our true past.
Another interesting fact about the Empire State bldg is that on july 28-1945 it was hit by a B-25 airplane
twin towers trailer
I guess the b-25 bomber is less destructive to a massive steel building than a passenger airliner
That instance was why the towers were built specifically to absorb a hit by an airplane..

The "model" is so INACCURATE using a BALLOON!!!!

The Empire State building is my most favorite building.
Are they kidding? How terrifying would that be??!

“Two or three buildings”
Hmmm…how feasible would the destroyed World Trade Center could have been used for take off and landing?
They said these airships were using tesla energy and refueled at the spires Look up Caucasia Tartaria
2:15 Wow. Now that's it's a blimp.
**puts ballon in wind tunnel**
Scientist: I wonder what will happen!
Airship is better than plane
were people in the airship? how did that work for them to exit if not?

It's still ridiculously dangerous
To bad they can't use it to save people in tall buildings
I'm confused because they say it's the tallest building but it's no where close

It was the tallest building at the time
at the time it was the tallest.
hence passing all its previous predecessors. it was only in recent decades it was beat
@@msain427 they don't state that though
not a new idea. i hidden history.
They could of build a covered docking station
It would be cool if airships docked with skyscrapers today.
Short answer: because it was a working airship dock.
its tartarian
So the Hindenburg could dock there
It turned out to be impractical. It's hard enough landing an airship on the ground; but way up there, with stronger winds, it was nearly impossible. They tried two or three times, then gave up.
So led zeppelin could park there.
For public transportation
Jumping to conclusions ! 😂😂😂😂
Those chemtrailed skies are disgusting!

No airship ever docked there
Yeah it's because they wanted to have the record and be the biggest. No I don't think so

It is fake no airships we’re on the Empire State duilding
