    Fun fact, in Latvia the Zeppelin hangers were not destroyed, but modified and moved from Vaiņode to the capital Rīga where they are used as the central market to this day. The roof height has been lowered. I get my strawberries and coffe there..

      I always find it interesting that, on the one hand, so many great minds were lost, but also, so many great minds were motivated to push technology forward as well. I like to think that the regime of the time fell, and yes so much was lost, but also the german people and their amazing inventions survived and pushed the whole world forward.
