In this video, we start, fly and land the C172 over Alaska to show off some of the techniques for flying it as well as general advice for the G1000 on board.
Even though I know how to the the Cessna in fs2020, I still love how entertaining your videos are and how well you explain everything! Great job and keep up the great work!
Love your videos, you've taught me so when using MSFS. Was wondering only the other day about decent speeds and what would be a "comfortable" vertical speed, very interesting to hear. Great videos keep them up 👍
I haven't downloaded any scenery or planes in FS 2020 I do not have the first clue on what to do after it is downloaded I've watched videos but I don't know how to find them I guess you can call me computer illiterate lol So could you do a video explaining that?
Click on the "World Map" Icon, top left of the main screen, Top left of that menu will show a plane. Click on that box and it will take you to the aircraft selection page. Back at the main World map screen, in the middle top left and middle top right, you'll see your departure and arrival menus. Search for an airport for your departure, then for your arrival (leave arrival blank if you're just going to free fly). There is more to it, but that will get you started.
@@AppalachianDroneFlights sorry you must have have misunderstood me I'm talking about downloading sceneries from Microsoft or third parties and/or airplanes not how to use FlightSim I'm just not sure after I download a freeware on where it goes in my computer to bring it up on the flight Sim
@@rackum44 Most sites (if not all) will have instructions telling you where to put the downloaded file(s). The only thing you have to look out for, is how you bought MSFS. Eg I bought the Steam version, so my Community folder (where you put scenery, liveries etc) is in a different place to if you bought the disc version.
I love your videos, but can you please turn off your auto sound dimming when you talk so that it doesn't keep blasting us with engine noise between your sentences. Just leave it on but at a lower volume. Thanks!

You are awesome man!!
Nice landing
Fantastic, thanks Red
The sounds of the plane creaking as you taxi are spot-on.
The man flipped on his "Bacon Light"...sniff sniff...SMELLS GOOD!
Nice!
There’s a Cessna 172 performance mod and also a g1000 update mod to bring it more in line with RL
was this where the dc3 landing challenge was in fs2004?

What manifold pressure is ideal for cruise at 3000'?
