I do this already and I really love it. I write down sensations or feelings that I love, or just memories that I want to remember. If you have a creative and open mindset, I recommend trying it ❤️

a notebook idea that I really love is writing down words that you learn and their definitions. whether it be words you learn in school or just words that you find really pretty that you want to use more often. like your own personal dictionary.
I keep 6 different journals. 1. My Bullet Journal 2. A regular journal 3. A gratitude/ accomplishments journal. Everyday, I just write down a few things I accomplished that day, and a few things I'm grateful for from that day. 4. A dance journal. Since dance is such a huge part of my life, this is just anything dance related. 5. A travel journal. 6. And lastly, my boyfriend and I each have a tiny little notebook (we're using Moleskines in the size small) which we use as like a gratitude journal for our relationship. We just write little things that each other did, or said that made us really happy in them, and every few months we will swap notebooks. This was my xmas present from him last year, and I absolutely love it!
Leah Wilton I used to study in a boarding school and we are not allowed to bring handphone so the guys will go to our desk and look for our notebook to reply to us and we'll read them in the morning. We'll reply before the night time due to curfews. And in the end of the year, it will be filled with our conversation, thought

Same! But I just started making one where I divide my book into different sections, so that it's more system when looking through it again. I just but small post-it notes in there, that stick out a little, and write kind of a title on the paper that sticks out. That way it's easier to find things later.
My best friend and I have a notebook where we write down everything we do together like if we go away even for a night we write about it and stick photos of us together into it and it's a great way to look back on things that we do together and even if we don't stay friends in the future it's nice to have all our memories together in one notebook
I used to have a journal where I would write down my dreams and try to decode them. It's really interesting and it makes it really fun when you use colorful pens, markers, etc. I have a lot of nightmares and weird dreams so that helped a lot! Love your videos 💖
As someone who paints often, I have a journal of pretty paint colours that I mixed. I try and think of a pretty specific scene in which the color is found and write that on the page too (like reflection of the sky in a lake on a cloudy day in Chicago or something) it's pretty calming to look at, especially imagining the scenes

I have a notebook for my readings, I like to write, once I'm done, what I tought about the book, what I felt while reading it, what I tought it was about... I also have a notebook that I call my culture notebook, basically, anything I learn about everything that interest me, I write it in. I have 4 main journals. 1. A fitness tracking notebook where I track the exercise I do and what I eat everyday 2. Recipe journal where I put any recipes I want to try out or ones that I make often 3. Personal journal where I write feelings and thoughts 4. Memory journal. This is where I put all my movie stubs and cool things I do with my friends and family. Resembles a scrapbook but in a journal.

I love having journals but I hate physically writing (I know I know, but I have terrible handwriting and I feel like my hand doesn't write as fast as my brain works!) so I keep an e-journal on my phone with an app. It's pretty easy and I like flipping through it.
These are some really neat ideas! I have a ton of these, because I'm a writer and hoarding notebooks 📓 is something I love to keep. I have at least three drawing books and over six books with writing ideas...clearly this video helps me... thanks for creating this video!
*I use one of my notebooks for quotes/sayings from different countries/cultures as long as I can relate or they could help me put my life together. *another idea is where I usually put outfits together or the upcoming outfits that I have to put together or the missing pieces I have to buy. *this other notebook is for skills I'd like to learn or try. Also in the end of the month/day/week I write down the things that I'm grateful for. And every night I write down the 3goals that I want to achieve for the next day, and trust me it's so Much easier to accomplish them that way. Cause in the end of the week or even month once you look back you've done so much.
I call one of my notebooks a trashbook/trash journal I love I but all my brain clutter and trash in this book it's all the random thing I think of in a day a funny joke a memory a cool writing prompt or maybe I took a really cool picture I'll print it and stick it in their basically anything you can think up good or bad gets thrown in there it my favorite notebook I've ever had its been two months since I started my trashbook and it's almost full I've filled almost 200 pages with my brain trash idk what in doing 😄😋😆
This actually inspired me so much for new notebooks! I currently have one for recipes, one for DIY's and hacks I need to try, one for quotes and poetry, one for my own poetry and art, a regular journal and one for chords for the guitar. I write down, special events that I don't want to forget about, my first thoughts of people I meet, I write about things probably too controversial to speak about with someone, ideas, heck I even write movie/tv show reviews, book or movie ideas ECt . I have a Swim Book which is a notebook full of quotes or song lyrics that inspire me to keep on swimming (I am a competitive swimmer) and never give up. Whenever I don't want to go to swim training I flip through the book and I see my favourite quotes and they inspire me and remind me that everything I've done will be worth it
Just clip things from magazines or old books and use beautiful Washi tape to put them in. After awhile start writing about them and your handwriting will improve.

Quotes really work as a book. If i see a saying I like, I jot it down on scrap paper, then after a while I gather all my scraps up and write them in my quotes journal all in one go. I've had my book since 1996. When I look back over it, I see what I was drawn to then and now. That's what's so good about it, the progression.
I really love how notebooks/journals can be used to do whatever u want like how ur feeling and if u want to practice new handwriting or if your just bored and your life is just boring u can scrapbook or just draw little doodles or just write random stuff it’s really cool how much a piece and paper and a pen can do

Yes i have so many notebooks:)).
Writing by hand is the way to improve your handwriting. 😉 Just grab a pen and do it. ☺👍 And like the previous commenter said, it's just for you anyway. Unless you become famous. Then you need to protect your notebooks. 😉

I use to write down weird or really clear dreams in a special note book/journal. Usually you forget dreams or the details of the dream soon when you get up, but believe me if you write them down it's so much fun to read those crazy stories back and sometimes you can remember them again! So this is my tip if you need inspiration
I made some little journals in a workshop one day and decided to use one as my garden journal--what I plant when, how it did, to do or not do again, glue in seed packets and other interesting stuff.
Your a big help for beginners like me, and inspiring too. I don’t know if all have 10+ but I at least will have one simple journal. I’ve always found it interesting how people put down their history in words and I’m glad I’m finally giving it a try. The best part about it though is the only rules and limits are your imagination. It’s not like in school where your writing has to be pristine... it’s all up to you. There is no limit to how much or little you decide to write about either, but the best thing I find about it is the time you have. No one is rushing you to do anything, it’s all just up to whatever pace you want to go. Once again thank you for this awesome video and your voice is very beautiful too.

This may be slightly nerdy and tedious, but my parents are older and taught me when I was very young to keep a "statements" notebook. It's helped with keeping up with family finances. Even a trip to Starbucks I will write down, and it helps to see where your income goes when you're old enough for a job!

I have a notebook where I write down all the places I would love to visit, the things I'd do there and the food I'd eat. You can also have a notebook for the places you've traveled to but instead, take pictures, print and paste it into your notebook then write a little summary of that moment. You could also have one based on fear. Write the fears you have/ overcome and your feelings towards that. There's so many inspiring ideas. Good luck on your notebooks.

That's just called a catch-all notebook. A way to organize it is to number the pages and have an index.

Hey, I know I‘m late, but I just wanted to say that I have a notebook where I write letters to myself or other people. It‘s mostly when I‘m angry, but recently I‘ve been writing to myself that I‘m fine. I don‘t know, it helps me reading the reasons why I felt good three weeks ago :)

I love having journals but I hate physically writing (I know I know, but I have terrible handwriting and I feel like my hand doesn't write as fast as my brain works!) so I keep an e-journal on my phone with an app. It's pretty easy and I like flipping through it.
I feel the same thing. I heard it is because our brain thinks a A LOT faster than our brains

*I use one of my notebooks for quotes/sayings from different countries/cultures as long as I can relate or they could help me put my life together.
*another idea is where I usually put outfits together or the upcoming outfits that I have to put together or the missing pieces I have to buy.
*this other notebook is for skills I'd like to learn or try. Also in the end of the month/day/week I write down the things that I'm grateful for. And every night I write down the 3goals that I want to achieve for the next day, and trust me it's so Much easier to accomplish them that way. Cause in the end of the week or even month once you look back you've done so much.

I call one of my notebooks a trashbook/trash journal I love I but all my brain clutter and trash in this book it's all the random thing I think of in a day a funny joke a memory a cool writing prompt or maybe I took a really cool picture I'll print it and stick it in their basically anything you can think up good or bad gets thrown in there it my favorite notebook I've ever had its been two months since I started my trashbook and it's almost full I've filled almost 200 pages with my brain trash idk what in doing 😄😋😆

This actually inspired me so much for new notebooks! I currently have one for recipes, one for DIY's and hacks I need to try, one for quotes and poetry, one for my own poetry and art, a regular journal and one for chords for the guitar. Really loving your ideas and plan to use them since I love notebooks 😊
I have a journal myself. I write down, special events that I don't want to forget about, my first thoughts of people I meet, I write about things probably too controversial to speak about with someone, ideas, heck I even write movie/tv show reviews, book or movie ideas ECt . My ultimate goal is too look back on my journals in the future and reflect the changes in my thoughts, my writing, my outlooks, and of course memories I may have forgotten.

I have a Swim Book which is a notebook full of quotes or song lyrics that inspire me to keep on swimming (I am a competitive swimmer) and never give up. Whenever I don't want to go to swim training I flip through the book and I see my favourite quotes and they inspire me and remind me that everything I've done will be worth it
i cannot write or draw well. i love aesthetic things and i want my notebooks to be aesthetic as yours but my handwriting and drawing will ruin it :(
Just practice writing and drawing! That's the only way to get good at it :)
Just clip things from magazines or old books and use beautiful Washi tape to put them in. After awhile start writing about them and your handwriting will improve.
all you gotta do is practice, also there are many videos to help you learn good handwriting and drawing tips

Loved this video. People have given me pretty notebooks as gifts and I don't keep a journal so I've always thought I'd never use them but I never considered filling one with my favourite quotes! Quotes really work as a book. If i see a saying I like, I jot it down on scrap paper, then after a while I gather all my scraps up and write them in my quotes journal all in one go. I've had my book since 1996. When I look back over it, I see what I was drawn to then and now. That's what's so good about it, the progression.

I really love how notebooks/journals can be used to do whatever u want like how ur feeling and if u want to practice new handwriting or if your just bored and your life is just boring u can scrapbook or just draw little doodles or just write random stuff it’s really cool how much a piece and paper and a pen can do

Writing by hand is the way to improve your handwriting. 😉 Just grab a pen and do it. ☺👍 And like the previous commenter said, it's just for you anyway. Unless you become famous. Then you need to protect your notebooks. 😉

I use to write down weird or really clear dreams in a special note book/journal. Usually you forget dreams or the details of the dream soon when you get up, but believe me if you write them down it's so much fun to read those crazy stories back and sometimes you can remember them again! So this is my tip if you need inspiration

I made some little journals in a workshop one day and decided to use one as my garden journal--what I plant when, how it did, to do or not do again, glue in seed packets and other interesting stuff.
Your a big help for beginners like me, and inspiring too. I don’t know if all have 10+ but I at least will have one simple journal. I’ve always found it interesting how people put down their history in words and I’m glad I’m finally giving it a try. The best part about it though is the only rules and limits are your imagination. It’s not like in school where your writing has to be pristine... it’s all up to you. There is no limit to how much or little you decide to write about either, but the best thing I find about it is the time you have. No one is rushing you to do anything, it’s all just up to whatever pace you want to go. Once again thank you for this awesome video and your voice is very beautiful too.

This may be slightly nerdy and tedious, but my parents are older and taught me when I was very young to keep a "statements" notebook. It's helped with keeping up with family finances. Even a trip to Starbucks I will write down, and it helps to see where your income goes when you're old enough for a job!
I actually kept blank copies of general journal worksheets from my accounting class for that reason :'D

I have a notebook that has 25 pages and thats because i rip out things i dont like then i realize that i like them and i realized my notebook was in tha trash i picked it up then it had 1 page left so.... R.I.P
I have a notebook where I write down all the places I would love to visit, the things I'd do there and the food I'd eat. You can also have a notebook for the places you've traveled to but instead, take pictures, print and paste it into your notebook then write a little summary of that moment. You could also have one based on fear. Write the fears you have/ overcome and your feelings towards that. There's so many inspiring ideas. Good luck on your notebooks.
I started using an old notebook to write down recipes that I’ve found online. Makes it so much easier than sitting through my video list to try it out!
