Remember when you were just dating, the ADRENALINE of SEXUAL DESIRE and ATTRACTION was so HIGH, you could not get enough with each other, but the moment you got married and have a family (Children)... the Sexual Desire and Attraction NATURALLY start to fade away, even if you love, trust, honor more your spouse today than before... I love both of these artists' work. Sadly Don McLean no longer has the voice he used to, and also his guitar is QUITE out of tune...Nanci does a beautiful job as usual. This is a bit like watching Brandi Carlile perform with Kris Kristofferson at Joni Mitchell's 75th birthday concert... Nanci is saving the day here...though Don gets better as the song goes on. It starts out pretty rough though. Also, neither of these artists' need all those schmaltzy strings and harp glissandos to support them. I feel like this would have been so much more beautiful if it was just the two of them playing guitar and singing. But...I'm happy it happened either way, I suppose. But if *I HAD BEEN PRODUCER*!...😜 It would have been better. These singers don't need an orchestra to make their songs beautiful. Sorry, rant over. I was super excited to see this duet when I saw the title of the video...and I don't feel it showed either of them at their best, sadly. God I'm so CONFLICTED.

Nanci was so very beautiful and gracious this night. I will always remember this magical night in Austin at The Paramount Theater.
