I love Daryl in this episode Trying so hard to look unbothered telling Andrea about his time in the woods as a kid and you can tell he’s low key getting more worried as time goes on.
I think the main thing new people don’t realize when starting TWD is how brutal the show actually is Compared to other Zombie movies and other series it’s so unique and has so much more depth to it.
The contrast of Daryl and Merl is so neat. Reminds me of my hubby and his brother. My hubby is very selfless and caring, his brother is a user, thief, and always in jail. It’s amazing how two people can grow up in the same environment and turn out so differently
25:45 broooo you hit the nail on the head!!! Super insightful thoughts/opinions that…NO SPOILERS… you’re absolutely right on! They would’ve robbed A LOT of people if Carl passed away in this episode..
Otis also told Shane he wasn't going to leave him. Someone else in their situation may have tried to exhaust all options for both of them to get out before taking the easy way out.
I love how Shane represents that do bad to achieve good mentality It’s a really good representation of certain choices would seem super crazy to us in everyday life or wouldn’t even cross our minds but in the Zombie Apocalypse it’s crazy the choices some might make to stay alive or even for the greater good Not saying I agree with his decision but looking at the bigger picture I get it Where I don’t agree is that one would have to make a distinction of one persons life being more valuable than another’s and that that’s just an insane thing to think about.
It’s always been my opinion that Shane and Otis could have made it! They were moving the same pace if not faster than the walkers, and there was along tussle over the bag! It’s a long standing debate in TWD community 😅
@kimberlywilmoth9184false. They were both slowing down while the walkers were gaining on em each second. With how far they were from the vehicle - that gap woulda closed eventually which woulda caused them to die either way. So Shane had to do what he had to do while they were still a bit far away - so they had time for the scuffle. If Shane didn’t do what he did - Otis, Shane and Carl woulda died.
@@PhilipManzano false. They were both slowing down while the walkers were gaining on em each second. With how far they were from the vehicle, the way they were running th whole night, Otis being unfit, Shane limping - that gap woulda closed eventually which woulda caused them to die either way. I mean Rick said himself “you didn’t think I could do it too”so Rick was obviously feeling sort of that way too.not saying it’s Shane’s place too but still
Always interesting to see a couple reacting to this episode. Not trying to generalize but often time the man will understand while the woman will be hesitant and reluctant on the harsh choice that shane had to make.
he didn't HAVE to make that choice, they had a small but steady lead on the zombies. if anything, once he decided one of them had to die he should've put himself at risk. he was the injured one, he doesn't get to decide to use someone else as bait

During the early episodes it was all about making the right choice! The right call! Then they would have to deal with the repercussions!
Love your reactions!! I just became a member!

I honestly feel the same way. That decision happened way too quick haha.
They definitely both could've made it, no question about that.

Rip Otis, Lori was right about Jacqui, it a shame, Jacqui had potential
My favorite reaction couple
I hate Shane LOL
haha right?
Daryl is amazing!
Shane is crazy and vindictive. I think he killed Otis for accidentally shooting Carl, period!
I mean Rick said himself “you didn’t think I could do it too”so Rick was obviously feeling sort of that way too.not saying it’s Shane’s place too but still
Keep them coming
I'm excited to see what y'all think about the rest of the show. It's one of my favorites.
So good! We’ll be starting with multiple uploads per week soon, too!
I realized that Shane tried to sacrifice himself and when Otis refused to leave him behind Shane had a look like he realized what had to be done.
There actually was a way for them both to make it
I would have done the same thing. Sorry Otis, but if it's a choice between you and Carl, you're just going to lose.
@liljackypaper you're so cool
so how much do you remember about this section because....
Haha honestly- the further we got into this season, the more I realized that I forgot a lot of this season 😅

I personally dont think shane is that evil for doing this.
