Up untill This point 12:40 of the video, this episode was really a meta commentary on our own world, from gang violence, and election tampering to assasination attempts, it was actually ahead of its time, but not by much, we still had all that, but its definitly more real given recent events. This Episode was a solid 10 out of 10 for the series, they really knocked it out of the park, so much in fact there is a mobile pokemon style game spinoff called Pocket Morties where you play as a Rick collecting Morties and fighting them and taking them in dungeon crawling adventures. its actually a lot of Fun.

I watched this show cuz I saw u guys reacting to it(when u guys posted this video)... I was interested in the show before... but since I did not know if it was going to be good I was hesitant... then just the fact that u guys where reacting made me decide to watch it! Boy oh boy! What a show! thanks for helping me decide to watch it! Can't wait for the next video!

According to Brian Michael Bendis, that shot of Troy at the beginning + Donald Glover’s campaigning to play Spider-man at the time, inspired the creation of Miles Morales after Bendis had been planning to create a Black Spider-man for his kids sake. And this also led to Glover voicing Miles in various cartoons and cameoing as Miles uncle (twice) in the MCU. 😊

Apparently the opening bedrooms shot cost basically the entire episode budget.

Betty White is an awesome guest star. Wait till later when Jonathan Banks, Mike from Breaking Bad, becomes a criminal justice prof. Seeing him be silly was one of the best parts of the show.

Severance & SEE are also excellent shows. The Shrink Next Door is top tier but will make you angry. 😤

So many great moments in this episode. Abed's comeback to Jeff in the study room is devastating. My favorite little moment is that after Britta admits she didn't love Jeff, Jeff high-fives the priest. 😁 I also like how they resolved everything right in this episode, basically all in one scene.

One of the very few problems I had with the first season was Milchick -- with a knife -- took so long to cut through a woven belt. EIther he should have had to cut through some metallic belt or had no sharp tool and had reasonable difficulty getting in. Him sawing so long with a pocket knife didn't make sense.

So, I feel like it makes sense that they are quick to for an us and them mentality. Rick's groups has grown a lot closer in the months that they have been together, ut they also have seen what the world is outside. Meanwhile, the prisoners only know the prison and with a leader like Tomas, I think its almost expected for them to follow him regardless. Their first meeting is also pretty relevant because Ricks group thought that they would be no survivors, and the fact that there is is actually pretty terrifying. The prison group then sees them cut a persons leg off like nothing, so to they are an immediate threat. And then as they interact with each other, they are each testing each other out. I think thats the main reason that Rick makes the food for clearing deal in the first place. To see who these people are and asses if they are a threat to his group. Theres a lot of subtle glances and microexpressions that everyone is giving, especially Tomas, that Rick takes as a real threat. Its kind of like "Nebraska" (the two guys at the bar) in this way, though different because now Rick's group are technically the intruders

Gwen's theme in the first scene is actually a super sped up version of the original Spider-man TV show theme. The traditional, 'Spiderman! Spiderman! Does whatever a spider can!'

Frankly this is the best animation I've ever seen. Arcane is close but the variety here is unparalleled. Yes it had a huge budget and the animators worked their asses off more than they were paid to, but you cannot deny quality.

The bad news about this series is that there currently is no release date for the third movie. It was originally slated to be released in 2024 even though that sounded crazy considering the amount of production work these movies require. Checked a couple of articles and it seems 2026 or 27 might be a possibility.
