I love how they used the "pruning" from _Loki_ as a metaphor for a movie series being cancelled, and they had the characters who never got a proper ending and send-off, ending up in the void. And the concept of "anchor beings" is _such_ a great metaphor for those times when a movie or TV series fizzles out and dies, when that _one_ key actor leaves, or they decide to kill that _one_ character that everyone's there to watch (possibly _because_ the actor's leaving). The Fox Mutant-verse died when Logan died. That moment was so epic and tragic and poignant that they _couldn't_ reverse it - not without the fans hunting them down and breaking their bones. But they _also_ couldn't move forwards without him, because, frankly, nobody would have turned up to watch, if they knew ahead of time that _he_ wasn't going to show up, not even as a cameo. Sure, that's tremendously unfair to all the other actors and creatives making the movies, but it's still _true!_

This show is much slower than Breaking Bad however a phenomenally written show and worth the watch

I love this series! So good. Top notch on every level. When I first graduated from law school and opened a private practice with a fellow graduate, we would go to "jail call" and pick up court appointments for people going before the magistrate and needing lawyer appointed. I assume that is what Jimmy was doing. Our law firm was in a Vietnamese strip mall. Before I actually got licensed I worked in a firm very much like HHM, representing clients like Bank of America. It was a soul-sucking job. The car was the wrong make and model. .

WAITING FOR GAME OF THRONE REACTION

Anybody who has seen Breaking Bad already knows, but this first episode lays it out that Jimmy is a scumbag and "money is the point", to paraphrase some dialog that didn't make the edit, but I remember it from the show.

Yesss! The greatest TV show of all time. I've watched over 250 TV shows, and this for me is the best one. This surpasses Breaking Bad, obviously Breaking Bad walked so BCS could run, but BCS surpassed BB. Acting, both leads of both shows are incredible, but the supporting actor performances from BCS give the edge in that aspect. The writing is just as good in both, the cinematography of BCS is leagues better, the BCS antagonists are better, the storytelling is slightly better in BB in the first season, but after that it's just as good in both, etc. Both are masterpieces, but BCS is better for me, and when they announced he was getting a show, I didn't think Saul was a character that can have his own show and be this amazing. Each season gets better than the last, and I can't wait for y'all to experience this whole masterpiece.

Good to react to someone new watching this great series & I will continue to do so assuming you have seen the 3 films. Yeah such a nostalgia hit & feeling watching this series especially for me having watched these films 40 years ago of course knowing the release of the series I too rewatched them which was good to do as I can recognise all the callbacks & references to the films & there are many of them. On a personal note because of the PDSD Daniel suffered I never had an issue with him trying to stop cobra kai returning still you have to like the character of johnny in this show.(well mostly) I do

Btw, I wish you guys watch X-Men 97 is the second-best MCU project behind Daredevil, it was a masterpiece. It took everything that made the original good for its time, and improved on it. The performances, writing, dialogue, animation, action, score, everything was so good. Edit 2: 20:55….lol, Wade was nowhere near a normal guy. He was a special ops and then got discharged and became a mercenary.
