You are the champion of champions. I've watched hundreds of videos about tailgate modification - some interesting, some so-so, some good, but your solution is a world championship. Imagine an 8-foot bed with this extension - you can transport over 9 feet, and with some improvisation with angles, even 10 feet. And also the possibility of easily removing the tailgate - there is probably no better view in the world than the sight of a "clean" 8-foot bed with the tailgate removed, especially in white or old burgundy color ;-) (only a 9-foot heavy duty stepside bed can compete with this view) .
