Assassin Creed is the reason why history class was Interesting
ummm yeah....
Seems like I'm the only one who enjoyed it very much and I was very interested without AC. Assassin's Creed just made it even more interesting
when i was in 3rd grade, i was playing assassin's creed 3 and i actually believed that connor the assassin really was involved in the boston tea party 😂 and knew i think pearl harbor during the midnight ride i believe
so true
@@akacalebo lmao, same here
Unity is most assassin's creed game you will ever play . Its just smooth and really feels like assassin's.
pretty much, i'd say Unity is the best AC game i've ever played. wished they'd add more depth into the conflicts apparent in the main story thougjh. many things feels underdeveloped, i respect their idea, it's just sad that in execution it ended up feeling rushed and underdeveloped.
@@Gamer-ln5weAll because of the tight deadlines
Still playing Unity 'till this day, it's just epic!!!
Same.
This game would deserve a PS5 / Series X Remaster
@@Amikeur Definitely! A remastered Unity without the bugs and glitches would clear it's name I hope!

Amikeur for sure man
“All that we do... All that we are... Begins and ends... With ourselves...”
- Arno Victor Dorian
"No higher power sits in judgement over us. Only we can decide whether the road we walk carries too high a toll."
Reminds me of what Darim said to Altair in revelations, "all that is good in me, began with you, father"
I like how Arno is, in a way, very similar to Shay, his father's killer. He just wants to do right by everyone, wants to avenge his adopter and to just get together with his loved one, and somehow ends up "betraying" the brotherhood. Like Shay, he cares about whats right, even if it goes against his mentors and assassins brothers. Bellec kinda represents how radical an assassin can become in porsuit of his goals. Both Rogue and Unity show a different perspective about the Templar-assassin conflict.
This song is 100% PERFECT for the French Revolution. It sounds so full of deceit and betrayal, and gives off a feeling of chaos. And then it goes off and expresses the sadness of the French Revolution, while also giving off a slight feeling of hope. Then towards the end it makes you feel like there is a very dark plot being planned, and that someone is out for revenge....
Ok, yes I know that sounds incredibly corny and stupid. But hey, you gotta admit that the entire song is like that.
I honestly loved this game besides the bugs at launch
Honestly you couldn't have described it perfectly any other way
I feel the "chaos disgression" but what do you make feel betrayal? I feel also sadness at the end of the chaos and then hope again... But betrayal maybe not in this song
You are so right😉
That ain't corny and stupid its just your opinion and a valid one to
Arno definitely deserves a sequel. I want to see him mature more through the creed and hone his skills even further like Ezio
We got a glimpse of a more mature Arno in dead kings and I honestly want to see more.
@@Diesell6 that was not long after the main game's ending though. He was still grieving Elisé at that point
he should go after shay cormac from ac rogue for killing his father because that seemed like something they were gonna do and then didn’t.
They would be smart to return to Arno (or his lineage) and share the story of the next Revolution, it would be a shame to never see France and her vital history again.
@@adamfrazer5150 That would be amazing. France was such an amazingly designed world, and it just felt so damn good to free run through the streets and on the rooftops.
I just wish this game wouldn't have gotten so much hate. Arno carries such an emotional, inspiring story behind him , and the ending was deep. Love playing this game
Every assassin's story was sad
Arno's Dialogue when the game ends is just fantastic... So Wise.
@@Supernova094
So young yet so serious
Agreed. He's much more than just an Ezio clone, as some ppl seem to think
Arno has depression?
honestly, beside ac1, ac2, this unity game had me into the real feeling of being an assassin: stealth style, always try to have a plan before kill any target, use your abilities carefully, search for the surrounding enviroment.......More than that, the atmosphere in Paris made this game even better. If Connor is the best fighter, Altair is a prodigy, ezio is a experience and smart assassin, so Arno will be that one with the best sense of killing target, a true form of stealth assassin. with his parkour and the abilities to kill anyone in silence then leave.... ( Sorry for my bad English, but i just want to say that this is a really good game haha )
there was nothing wrong with the game, but the story could've been a bit longer and the ending was a bit disappointing. Combat could've been improved no doubt. Other than these flaws, the game was good
@@mathew5920 i think, they plan to make more game about Arno and Unity is just the prologue. But, you know, they "cancel" it due to the failure launch of the game.
@@thorsal6208 i still cant shake off the fucking curiosity i have if they didnt scrap the original plan for ac3 or if unity was given time to patch out all the bugs. imagine the ac games we wouldve gotten
Unity is the peak of what AC originally intended to be
Just got my hands with Unity and omg. The parkour is just so good and the fact that you have to really do stealth and calculating along with HP not being healed out of combat makes all the mission worthwhile. And how he kills using his hidden blade and just walks away is so smooth. I like Arno, Ezio and Altair.
This game is the final product of the old generation of assassin's creed games. Everything is well done in this game, every assassination must be done with prior planning, the city has so much character, the characters themselves are well written and the fights always keep you on your toes. As IGN says, "this game makes you feel like an assassin in the streets of Paris."
Syndicate?
Unity : such an incredible and emotional aventure througth dark times when Freedom was written with blood !
This is the last Assassin creed game i truly enjoy playing
me too, reminded me a lot of ezio's story but was still different in its way. really enjoyed this game
that is something extremely weird dude. But i respect your preferences xD
Unity his my favorite
For me Unity was the point in the series when Assassin's Creed finally became what it supoused to be. Big and diverse city, finally enjoyable and smooth parkour system, more sneaking in gameplay, entertaing story in interesting period, and all of it with the best graphic in AC history till this day. While playing it I felt that this finally AC games that devs really wanted to do (maybe because they could finally make game about their own history). People complained AC wasn't changing but for me Unity was truly revolutionary game compared to previous parts while steel staying true to AC style. So bad that Syndicate was so mediocre and they needed to change the direction just when they found a great recipe for series. To be honest I hoped they will make next game in this style in St. Petersburg during bolschewik revolution or in Warsaw during the III partition of Poland.
Origins was godly
Gives me serious goosebumps as a history student listening to this. This is the sound of the birth of our current Age: the Contemporary Age (1789 - present). Just awesome.
0:26 plays Ezio's family but afterwards it cuts to Unity's theme. This is a new breed of assassin, beginning of a modern look of how an assassin moves , fight, infiltrate , and kill.
I don't understand u people. I absolutely loved this game. Just beat it, and is by far the best assassins creed I have ever played
You gotta be trolling
I liked it too, people are just complaining to UBISOFT because they wanted ships and a better fighting system, and everyone if being a f$&@ing Baby about it.
Chris 34567 We just wanted a good AC game with a cohesive story and likable characters and good gameplay, all of which is not offered in Unity.
+Matthew Cotner I think it's always popular to rag on the current AC, whilst at the same time proclaiming the previous one to be the best. Unity has a lot of issues it's true, especially where graphical bugs are concerned, but it's certainly not as bad as people have made out. At the end of the day, the devs are damned if they do, and damned if they don't; keep the same formula game in game out, people whine, change it, people whine. Same result.
+Matthew Cotner then u havent played assassins creed rogue
When you learn that Arno Victor Dorian was a Ancestor to Callum Lynch from the Assassin's Creed Movie.
Alongside Jacob Frye of all people.
Liam Gers no Jacob and Evie wasn’t no ancestor to him
Wait what ...?
WAY TO SPOIL MAN
@visibly confused Dont do it its shit af i was at cinema and it was trash
arno is such an underrated protagonist
I like the fact that the music in this game has a slight modernness to it that you don't see in all the other games. Not talking about the music for animus sections in AC, but just in general. There's an electronic base in almost every piece which gives it that cool vibe. That's what I love about Unity.
This is the perfect song for an Assassin's Creed, the techno rhythm of the beginning combined with the instruments achieves that essence that we look for so much in these games.
I love when Ubisoft will add Ezios Family into each theme, but I love it even more when the theme stands out alot.
This soundtrack... The combination of Ezios family, Unitys atmosphere and modern day feels like a miracle. Love this song.
I really enjoyed this game. Could it have been better? Yeah of course but I really don't understand the extreme hate towards it. For the bugs I understand but the game itself I thought was a lot of fun. Great music for sure.
+GrizzlyRed yea i agree i mean the sword of eden was a little lame the game could've been longer and they never explained what happened once arno went to egypt and met napoleon there which are just minor flaws it was still one of my favorite games
+GrizzlyRed if they can fix most of the bug, this will be a very good game.
+Jorgen Soby I wish they did an Egypt game where they follow Arno & Napoleon yes. c:
+GrizzlyRed The glitches were far from my only issue with it. The boring missions, characters and plot were much more problematic.
+Jorgen Soby Have you solved the glyphs in AC2? The sword of Eden features there, as a piece of Eden that Abstergo had gotten whiff of. It was not lame, when I replayed AC2 and saw the sword there (as well as the piece of Eden that Napoleon supposedly had, and then in Unity we actually see him finding it) it hit me like a slap in the face :P
Most criminally underrated assassin's creed game ever.
For sure
Right next to black flag
@@JamalSnitchy black flag is like an exception among the AC's franchise because people see it as a pirates game. Still one of my favourite AC

heavily considering playing it after i beat valhalla, I just got back into AC after syndicate and enjoy valhalla a lot but i do feel like its not the same as the old games. Unity is one of my most favorite games because of how fun Arno's style was.
@@krithiksingh exactly, I never did play valhalla but I played odyssey like 40 hours then I give up. Every winter I restart Playing Unity, story is not that good but that feeling of animations and stealth is something different in a very good way
@@renkampfwagen1871 yeah i heard odyssey is too bloated so im not even gonna bother playing that one, although Origins is said to be the best one so thats another one i gotta play. Also I agree unity's gameplay was my most favorite, arno is so stealthy and agile.
@@krithiksingh I already did play Origins and yes Origins is the best of this RPG trilogy but I never liked this GRINDING AND LEVEL type of gameplay. I remember Once I learned I can't one shot kill an enemy with HIDDEN BLADE in these RPG's I was frustrated and I still am
I just finished Unity 2 days ago, and personally, I really liked it! Sure it coulee been better, but at its core, it's a great game! I mean it really is, good job Ubi! I just wish this game didn't get so much hate :\
Same here I loved it. wish it was given a 2nd chance
It was a really good game that suffered from really bad coding. The story was also quite compelling, and on the whole I enjoyed it a lot, but it was evident to me that they were trying to recapture Ezio's essence, and that took away from it just a little for me. In the big picture, of course, I remain an Assassin's Creed fan who has enjoyed every title they've released.
I finished the game in like 3 weeks ( including Mgsv and bo3, I was just rushing in the game

one
I've been such a nerd of AC Unity for a long time, I'm a gen z so this the first story game I've ever played and honestly i never got bored of it.
People failed to realize how much work the developers put in this game, there's so much details when you actually enjoy the game like a normal person instead of complaining about minor details.
New assassin's creed games are great too but let's be honest they're just remakes of the previous game
I honestly went into Unity with no expectations, I just wanted to play a game with actual Assassins after the stuff they put out over the last three or so years.
And oh boy was I amazed. Unity might actually be one of my favorite Assassin's Creed games. Perhaps only AC2 and Revelations top it for me. Was it perfect? Absolutely not, I thought the combat was a little floaty. But was it worth it? Yes. Does it deserve the negativity? Absolutely not.
So, AC fans, please buy this game. Don't listen to the Ezio fanboys saying that the game isn't good. Get this game. You'll enjoy it.
AC Unity, although initially hated due to the superficial judgement from the bugs and early onset issues, that have since been fixed, is the culimination / epitome of the old AC Generation. It truly brings together the best from every AC game prior to it, combined with a well written, emotional story.
I am truly glad that in recent times, people have begun to realize how fantastic this game really was and just how far it was in terms of graphics and movement. It looks graphically better than most games today if not on par with them. Glad to see it’s finally getting the love it deserves!
GOSH. Memories of the Bastille and Arno and lots of melancholy and bittersweet Elise.
And this guy did Fringe too! No wonder i could detect a bit of his style....The anxiety he can inject into his pieces
I will always love Unity - one of my favorite games ever
This is my first Assassins Creed, I am one of the new generation Assassins...and this will be held close to me forever as my first...and favorite AC game...for now.
You have a lot to learn about the old AC's…Unity will be trash when you play them
elimon8tor01 I disagree. It's got its issues, sure, but it's not terrible. Honestly, if it weren't for the plot and the really awkward way they cover the French Revolution, it would be quite fun. It's got the best freerunning in the series, I think.
That said, the older ones are good too. That's what great about Assassin's Creed; every title is worth playing through at least once, and some (Black Flag and II, in my case) are worth two or three playthroughs.
Unity is just one of many, you do not know the legacies, the stories, the knlodge, and the sacrifice of the other assassins, play the rest and Unity will soon unfold. For example Rogue will explain Arnos fathers death..
Ryan Howard Well I'm glad you got Unity before the rest of the games. If you played the Kenway and Ezio trilogies before... you would kind of hate Unity. I don't hate it, though, it's just that ACU doesn't add anything interesting to the overall story. Unity in itself is a great game (great freerunning, side-missions, location), but it doesn't make any good to the fictional storyline. Maybe that's one of the major reasons of all the hate (aside from endless bugs). If you ask me, Black Flag is a good pirates and Assassin's Creed game IMHO, it did have a lot to contribute to both the storyline and the gameplay. One of the bests up to date. Yet my favorites remain the Ezio trilogy (not that I'm an Ezio fanboy, I just loved the settings, the soundtracks and the ambience of those over the rest of the franchise)
If you're looking for continuity, Rogue is the way to go. I definitely recommend playing the others before it, as there WILL be spoilers.
10 years. Time flies.
I just played Assassin's Creed Unity and I consider it by far the best AC game. I played them all before but this one is just great.
I loved how I wasn't simply instructed to do this or that objective only I was given some hints about the missions. I also loved that it was much harder to get away from the guards than before making it an awesome stealth game. The story was also pretty good Elise was a great complication in the story I loved the game all together.
Samee
Combination of organ + piano + violin + synthesizer from 2:00 is amazing
Started playing this again this week, it's the peak of the series
Unity had a nasty release, it got a bad rep for it. It had arguably the best freerunning moves, the coolest weapon system, an amazing combat system, great and unique stealth mechanics, and a beautiful environment and atmosphere.
I loved unity back when it first released I think it was 2014
Just beat the game, absolutely loved it! Yes you heard right. This game was not awful. It wasn't even bad. In fact, I preferred this over AC3. Combat is more challenging, the controls are nice (for the most part), weapon choices are nice, story was good.
I don't get how people are saying that this game was awful. Everyone has an opinion, but with the amount of negativity I heard from this game, I wasn't that hyped about getting it. I was still gonna get it, because shit, don't I love an AC game, but still. It wasn't until I played it that I realized I was actually loving it.
The only thing I didn't like, more so at first anyway, is dropping from ledges, and it being picky about it because it doesn't want me to take damage, which either means taking another route, or doing the button combination correctly so that he will fall, with or without damage, I don't really care usually, I just want off. XD
So people, stop telling others "don't buy it, it's awful" or even "get a pirated version", like no, support Ubisoft. I'm done.
Well said bro
AC3 starts so slow I almost fall asleep during the beginning, Ubisoft fixed this with ACIV which starts way faster.
Unity is not bad overall, but still has a good chunk of bugs and the microtransactions are a minus.

Finaly someone with some IQ
Been saying it for years man. This is the most underrated AC game to ever have come out. And it's also the best. Finally it's receiving some love and I just hope more people give it a chance. Bugs should not put you off a game. Real gamers look past that. Bugs only effect competition gamers like call of duty etc but assassin's creed is for thr stories right? I it had it's flaws like most games but it's just not that bad. Not as bad as what they have become. RPG really killed it for the old school AC players for sure.
It's an injustice that they released the game at that time. They could have waited another 6-7 months of development and it would have been the franchise's rare gem. After they added rpg to the franchise, it only got worse. Today it's the only game with the best parkour, the best graphics in the franchise, unfortunately it's the only one and ubisoft hasn't realized that we want another in the same vein.
this is the best Assassins Creed after the Ezio Trilogy
this game feels like it came out yesterday.

I love this game so much. Although I finished the missions, I still roam the entire map to this day, completing heists and playing with friends. I don't see why people hate on this game so much, it really makes me sad :/
Honest opinion; Unity has been my favourite AC entry for FREE ROAMING and PARKOUR. It is kinda my favourite for GRAPHICS too because the streets feel so real with crowds and stuff. It's June 2022 and still playing!

One of the best soundtracks and Assassin's Creed games to date. Thanks ubisoft. Oh and I would like to mention this the one thousandth comment on this soundtrack
0:00 - 0:29 Ezio's Family.
0:30 - 0:50 French Takeover.
It makes so much perfect sense because Italians and French are like brothers of Latin Europe, kinda like Argentina and Brasil are brothers in Latin America.
The French take the masterpiece they inherit from their cooler, older brother and make it their own, magnificent.
Absolutely asnotinishing soundtrack, best AC in the Franchise, this theme is top3 in the entire series at the very least.
This game has the best Parkour system in any assassins creed game !
Glad I gave Unity a second chance, now I absolutely love it. It is the only AC game where we see a major historical event taking place Live, so astonishing 🙌
If you pay attention and "read" the music, you can hear that at the beggining is pretty much Ezio's Family, and after 0:29 it comes the french takeover, its like the revolution is literally taking a entrance to take the music for herself in a very chaotic, epic and misterious ambience
This game is fantastic.. will never forget those days when it was my most played game on my PS4, the novel by Oliver Bowden is gripping as well
Rapidly becoming one of my favourite AC soundtracks! Thanks for uploading, Ubi Loud! :)

Also, Ubisoft has decided to donate 500,000 Euros to help with the restoration. (Also, I believe Unity could be a key factor in helping to rebuild Notre-Dame. Anyone else agree?)

I grew up with this game. I didn’t know much about Assassins Creed at all. Though vaguely playing with AC3 and Black Flag, Unity was where it clicked. The story of Arno’s Conflict of the Assassins and his own personal gain simply ended in death, alongside how it created such a fascination with The French Revolution with me. It’s Multiplayer allowed me to simply learn how to work with others. It’s Trailers introduced me into Woodkid and the French Music Scene.
A melhor trilha sonora de todos os AC ❤😢
This is the game that made us recognize Ezio's Family as the main theme of the entire series!
My fav Assassin's Creed game and ost
ac fans rn are praising this game ❤️❤️❤️
Ac Unity & Ac 3 didnt get appreciation that it needs!
Unity is the most AC game in the whole AC franchise imo. There're no silly mini games to take your attention away from stucking your blade in people's neck. Simple, straight forward and fluid.
Parkour in Unity is just top tier. How did they make it so smooth idk but I thing I know for sure is that climbing those towers in Paris actually made my hands a bit sweaty (I don't like heights).
Combat is ofc not the main selling point so it's kept relatively easy to learn and master. You can wait for a parry, if there're more than 5 dudes smoke bomb and dip, go hide and fuck them up behind the covers you know the drill.
Visual is *chef kiss* magnifique. How did they make a 2013 game looks next gen is beyond me. I picked this game up last year thinking it's a somewhat new release after Syndicate.
Story, nice. Side quests are surprisingly not fetch quests which made Ubisoft famous lol. The map is not bloated and stuffed with meaningless objectives, chests/collectables/unique encounters are spread evenly so the pace of the game feels very natural.
I rate it a strong 9/10, if not for the random crashes here and there it would be an easy 10.
To save you from the aggressive thumbs if the average AC oldhead. All of the AC games from the first one to Origins were the most "Assassin's Creed" games in the Assassin's Creed franchise
I really loved this game. Kinda sad that I know everything about it.
I wish I could forget everything and start all over again.
