Greetings amigos ;^) ♪ Finally, here is the first Steely Dan tutorial of 2024. I must admit I did a few tweaks (that I wanted to add for a little while for the intros and end credits) that took me quite some time, but just for the song itself (of 7 minutes) with its many brilliant solos, change of events, and tempo starting at approximately 132 BPM and ending at around 140 BPM, the work had to be spread over three weeks and/or a good 70 to 80 hours of programmation (and practice).♪ ---------------------------------------------- I want to acknowledge my "Golden Mom", who not only provided me, and by default the content of this channel (that I greatly adore working on), but who also lately helped me a lot during these tough economic times (like many folks unfortunately). ♪ Therefore I dedicate this tutorial to my mother "Jojo", who enabled me (with peace of mind) to produce this lesson worth gold (lol..) ♪ ---------------------------------------------- Reaching the milestone of 4000 SEBscribers soon, tremendous thanks to you all (means a lot), and special recognition to those who have supported the channel too (highly appreciated). ♪ Adding this is not to appeal to anyone's "pathos", but I wouldn't be surprised if I haven't indirectly given almost an hour to each SEBscribers (lol..). Hey there, and OMG André, after 4+ years, I was getting so acquainted with your YT avatar in the swimming pool, that I almost thought I was replying to somebody else (lol..). ♪ --------------------------------------------- Thanks, mon ami, well at least the first half of the solo, (I played it kind of safe). The other half is too technical. I always strive to get an as decent one-take-shot as possible when filming (especially when the duration is over 7 minutes). It doesn't take much for me to be unsatisfactory, stop and record another track. So I kind of play safely when producing my Steely Dan tutorials, and for that reason, that's why I prefer, and purposely chose to animate the solos rather than play them. ♪ Peace + Respect ;^) ♪ .
