The laces are called polyester laces. My feeling is that even though the leather is not as soft as the SP dunks, the lesser leather will actually hold up better over time. The color way is timeless and a must cop at the current resell price on 1/30/2021

I'd call them the "Salt n Pepper" dunks
Like salt and pepper which go well with all dishes, this pair is really versatile and can look good in all types of styles

Honestly wait for the highs cuz the low Syracuse and Kentucky are $500 now, the highs will go for like $300/350
@@xboxgamer30 for real bro, but i’ve been looking at the 2016 syracuse highs and the quality and craftsmanship looks really nice, if the pair that comes out this year isn’t as nice i’ll probably cop the 2016 pair instead
It's a wmns release btw, so if you have big feet you won't be able to get the highs. Syracuse lows are nice, but not worth the resale.

Glad I came across your video. I just got a pair of the black and white dunk lows for my daughter’s birthday from StockX . I thought they were fake and about to contact them. You’re absolutely right that the leather quality; feels fake and the stitching is like off.

I’m a 9.5 in jordan 1s but 10 in some other Nike products what size should I get the dunk in?
I feel like before I didn’t care about leather quality or just quality in general as long as it looked good, but now I definitely care a lot more and quality is the main factor if I pay resale or not on something. However with these and the rest of the GR Dunks If I can get some for retail I’d wear em as daily beaters and not care too much about the quality.
yea agreed, they are fine for retail
imo the basic GR pairs gonna drop in price and don't be special anymore but the Sb's are still gonna be special in specific colour also the quality on the sb's is still great
100% agree on the very underwhelming quality. I'm only getting SP/Premium or SB dunks from now on.

What size do I get for dunk lows? I’m 9.5 in Air Force 1, Jordan 11 low, & New Balance. I’m TTS 10 in Nike such as the Nike Air Max, VaporMax, Sacai Waffle.

These were supposed to release in Europe last week in Men's and Women's sizes, alongside with Children's sizes, but Men's sizes were delayed for February or even March, not sure about the exact date. Some shops did however release Men's sizes, but most released only Women's.
So we can expect more pairs to hit the market in both Europe and US.
Not true, men's sizes released in Europe (atleast in Germany) already
@@JoshDominic Some shops released them, but some pushed it to February or March. BSTN had raffles for Men's and Women's sizes and they removed Men's raffle. 43Einhalb still has opened raffle for Men's sizes, while Women's was finished last week. SVD still has both raffles open. Italian shops (BackDoor, BlackBox, Sneakers76...) released only Women's... There are others that did the same, but can't remember all right now.

Cobalts feels synthetic as well, a lot of the dunks don’t have great “leather”

In South Korea they call these the Orca dunks as a nickname, such a dope colorway but still leather is so stiff that the creasing looks horrifying

Shooot. That's so disappointing to see that quality difference between those and the Syracuse.
I missed out on EVERY single dunk last year. I'm a huge fan of this black and white dunk. I'd rank it just behind the Brazils and Sambas as my 3rd favorite dunk recently.
Still hope I can cop a pair, but would have liked to see better leather.

Dunk sp seems like to have a better quality since my pure platnium dunk is leather quality is more better than black white pair
Just copped for 270 on 🐐 as well as the hyper cobalts 170 goat and the unlvs 170 goat(steal vnds) since I took a L on all of them I’m satisfied

I prefer SB Dunks in more unique colourways, but these are clean and very easy to wear. Still going to pass since it's more GR quality.

This channel is quality. JD knows his shit. I got my pair and swapped the laces out and they look a lot better. Quality is what it is. Just happy to secure some dunks for retail.

@Hugo Cammell just really goes on what to wear. I feel like shoes are only as hard as u make them to style. The shoe I can agree with ppl that’s crazy is the J balvins but outside that is just getting creative.

The leather quality on these isn't the best, but these, the varsity reds, and coast are definitely better quality than the vast grey pair. The vast grey was absolutely awful. I think these are passable for the price point, similar to some J1 lows. The Vast Grey Highs were absolute trash in comparison.

Look into other nike retros other than air force 1, jordan 1, air max 90, dunk etc...
Every year nike makes a pile of retros that get very little attention and end up on dale racks. Last year i picked up air spans and air trainers for next to nothing and quality was great on both. Look outside the box.
@@dizzy1419 I really like Jordan 1's, air forces and dunks. They are just so satisfying to look at. Most of them are expensive though(except for the air forces. I have the mid banned jordan 1's right now (I know a lot of people hate the mids but I like them).

@@wab7161 if you into Nike Air Max go with 95s, Tailwinds or Uptempos. You can pick also Prestos or some Waffle Racers or Killshots. Do you only want Nike retros or are you into another brands? I would take a look at New Balance excellent quality or some classic adidas or Asics... there are too many sneaker brands and so good quality made retros that people even don't remember because all they see in front of their eyes is Nike aj1s nike af1s Nike dunks... and repeat..
Mocha J1s aren't bad quality as you say. No they aren't shatter quality but they are good. I agree with these black and white dunks. But the looks definitely override the quality so it should be a cop and at the very least cop for resell. I'm guessing you mean drop as far as wearing a GR release.

Do these normally have a widows peak on the toe box?
2020 dunks were significantly better, the st johns for example had such smooth and soft leather. Nike really done us dirty with the 2021 releases, used cheap synthetic jordan 1 lows leather on these. No fucking way imma pay resell on these. But at the end of the day, these only retailed at 100
resellers are trying to milk these pairs. Resell may play about $250-$300 but in my country, resell of these black n white dunks are going down by a small margin every day. I dont know if same situation with yours but prices will drop. If you still want to resell these, hold it for a year or so
