New York City Metro Severe Storms From Barry Remnants - 7/17/2019

Camera man is almost struck by lightning, as the remnants of Barry move through the NYC Metro with dangerous lightning, and torrential rains during the late evening.

Shot 1: A blinding flash is seen and sizzling is heard, as lightning strikes about 20 yards away from the cameraman.

Shot 7: Store flags blow in the wind, as sideways rain comes down
Shots 8-9: A man walks across Woodhaven Blvd with his umbrella, as heavy rain falls. A woman caught without an umbrella, covers her head with her hand as heavy rain falls.
Shot 10: A woman takes shelter under the overhang of a grocery store on Woodhaven Blvd in Middle Village, Queens as heavy rain falls.
Shot 11: Timelapse sequence of storm clouds, rain and lightning, as the remnants of Barry move through Queens NY.
