- In this video I (Jenny Omnichord) perform my song "Wieners for Two" on the OM108 (originally written on the 200M). It is a song about a fictional first-date restaurant that serves 2-foot-long hotdogs. Following my performance, I give a super-abbreviated history of my path from starting as Jenny Omnichord to owning this omnichord OM108 (the first new omnichord in over twenty years!)

Great video!! And great to hear your story! Enjoy your new 108! Mine will arrive tomorrow!
I'm so glad I found your channel! I am also in love with Omnichords and I'm so excited to see your videos using the newer model. Thankyou for sharing!
This is so great! It reminds me of Advance Base/Casiotone for the Painfully Alone if you're familiar with those projects at all.
guess i'll go have soup for one and wine for three.
Can you send us the link to the website to the boomerang shaped omnichord concept?
I loved this song, and I am very happy to get in on the ground floor of this channel. Have you considered getting on Bandcamp? I'd buy your music. I wish I hadn't sold my Omnichord on Ebay. Thank you. ...edit: I found your bandcamp, thank you.
Hey! Yes new to having a dedicated channel (though folks have shared lots of videos of me playing omnichord over the years which is nice to have record of). Glad you found my bandcamp!
I’m really glad you love the song ❤️
Hi, big fan of yours. DO you have any thoughts on Rebecca Sugar?
Rhythms in the Omnicord can hardly be used to play with Thai songs because most Thai songs use mostly Latin rhythms such as biguine, bolero, cha-cha-cha, slow.
That’s interesting! There’s definitely a limit to what you can play in terms of time signatures (I noticed when I was trying to do a cover of a song in 6/8 on one of the other models, you can sort of do it with “Swing” on this one, but some models don’t have that). I never thought about it being a limit for certain cultures of music but that totally makes sense! And is a shame! Maybe the future will see special editions with particular cultural rhythms!
great video! have u figured out how to record the drum midi?
@@gummishepardtones I actually haven’t experimented with the midi on ANY of the models, as I’ve never had the correct cable/anything to plug it into - but I saw from the official Suzuki unboxing video that the folks who helped design it said the midi has apparently improved significantly from past models, so I’m excited to try it at some point!!
