at 25 he was kicking knowledge and was on his way to become a leader. they knew he would open some eyes and he really was a problem. imagine how big he would be in 2024. he had too much influence and he would be unstoppable today with social media. he had to be silenced. they let him rap about crime and killing but as soon as he decided to spread message he became a problem. and all that within a time span of maybe 5 years. that's what makes him special

When people say that 2Pac was revolutionary, that’s not hype and it’s not an exaggeration. Both of 2Pac’s parents were part of the Black Panthers movement back in the 70s, so that revolutionary mentality is in 2Pac’s blood and was a huge part of his upbringing. That’s how come he was so conscious of day-to-day society, and the things that were occurring around him. And that’s why he cared so much about his community, and made it a goal to try to reach as many people as he could with his music. We lost a real one in 1996. Rest in peace PAC. ❤️

The thing is every move tupac made was calculated. Even his “gangster” songs was made from the perspective of the type of person he was rapping about. Wasnt saying its ok but why they do what they do and think the way they think. Media destroyed him because they didnt lnow him as a deep thinking philosopher and peot but heard his lyrics on a surface level. Before he blew up he was about to become the predident of the new black panthers and the gov attacked hum just like they dismantled the original black panther. They were genuinely afraid of another revolt and civil war and instead of working on what could fix the needs they destroyed our leaders and set our communities on a path of destructio.

You should explore Tupac more. He had a lot of great, emotional, powerful, positive stuff. He also had a real dark side and said some pretty terrible stuff. Hit em up is quite the contrast. Me Against the World is also another amazing song. Honestly there's a lot. I've grown up a lot since I first got into Tupac. Some of his stuff still resonates, but other things, I've realized he was quite young and passionate, but not always correct. He died in 1996 and he was only 25. He was practically a kid. Such a shame.
