The thing about Pac he didnt just rap about guns and bitches and shit like that he raps about real life situations and this song is an example of that.
By chance how did you find this video? My youtube studio is acting strange and said no one is viewing or commenting. So I am trying to figure out what is happening exactly. But you are preaching to the choir. Every 2PAC song so far has shaken me to my core. He was such an inspiring artist.
Always had a message in his music
@@lillyjanereactsI found it under another reaction page
I mean... he did rap about those things too.. but also much more. That is part of his catalog too.. especially in his later work after he was in jail.. but he has a lot of deeper stuff too
@lillyjanereacts I recommend the song, You wonder why they call you b.... trust me it's as reas as this one, perhaps more so since it literally happens everyday for a lot of women.
Its insane 2pac could write songs like this at the age of 19-20...just shows hes the greatest of all time. No other rapper could or can do this stuff at his age. He was a real gem one of a kind.
Exatamente isso que falei para um colega uns dias atrás. O quão ele era pé no chão, centrado e maduro com tão pouca idade. Uma visão sobre a vida e as pessoas à sua volta.
No other rapper could or can do in any age what Tupac did it
U never heard of lil Wayne huh??
@@Dremond305 please hahaha😂😂😂
If you would've done the Official Video I guarantee you would've cried the way they displayed everything. This was Tupac's Single from his 1rst Album still remain one of the most Powerful Stories ever told in Hip Hop. And yes the song was based on a True Story
Pac was ahead of his time. Lyrical genius.
🤗
e ainda tem uns loucos que dizem que Eminem é maior que PAC 🤣🤣🤣
@iamme25yago Brenda's got a baby >>>>> All eminem music.
@@LC-se3iybro, are you trippin?
@@fzhz I just tell the reality. Fools are those who believe otherwise, but I don't care.
Pac was telling stories that were real before people wanted to hear it. It’s sad but it was and is true .
This song was inspired by true events, this really happened.
Love pac great song I hope you react to more of Tupac his songs are really good
I plan on checkin out more of his stuff in the future.
@@lillyjanereacts awesome oh by the way have you heard of Kim Dracula??
@@lillyjanereactsfor his hardest joint- you need to check out Hit Em Up- he ripsinto a lot of people, he didn't GAF
And this is why everyone calls Tupac a poet, not just a rapper. The way this man told stories that ripped your heart out, drove you to tears and gave so many people all over the country an escape from the Hell of reality, at least for a few minutes…no one else in rap history could’ve done what he did.
RIP 2Pac!
Imagine he was only 19 and wrote that song on break while doing Juice movie. Omar told that story, PAC was on whole different level, while for others this was just “normal thing”, he was really down about that and wrote this song. ❤
Life goes on - 2pac
The update video was the young girl who portrayed Brenda in the music video. And how doing the video affected her. The video was made more than 30 years ago. And if you watch it, there WILL be tears. Of anger, frustration and sadness.
Verdade, toda vez que vejo me emociona sempre! Uma das mais emocionantes de *PAC*
When Pac was asked if he knew Brenda he said everyone knows a Brenda. thats deep
Some songs to check are mama's just a lil girl its about his mom, so many tears its about his struggles and inner thoughts. My block its another heart felt song.
I will add them to my reaction list to check out in the future. Thanks for the suggestions (:
@@lillyjanereacts☺🤗
Tupac read this story in the newspaper that was his reason for this song. He kept following up on the story wasjust getting smaller and nothing was coming to light of it. He was looking for results to see if they solved this crime.
The New York Verifies Brendas Got A Baby Story
Great reaction! Tupac was a master story teller about real life situations and environments.
Speaking of, love to see you react to NF’s new album! Think you’d love the “hope” in his message. 😊
I have reacted to 2 songs off the album, just search nf on my Channel 😁
This song was hard hitting to listen but 2pac was telling story about what happened in community with lack of support in young people and when this song came out, the song was making huge impact on whole society to support youth services. RIP 2pac 😢
There is a videoclip of that song. It will give you the shivers
What is it about?
Life Goes on - 2pac 🔥🔥very similar feel to 2pac’s changes
I Love seeing people reaction to hearing Pac. So this is why we say he is the Greatest Of All time because look she is not apart of black/hip hop culture and look at her reaction to this powerful message. His message spoke to the human condition and it crosses color-culture barriers and that’s what great artists do. RIP Pac, they still playing your music and the younger kids are so interested in your music 25-30 years later. Lastly in the end she said she not sad but mad and she said the hate so THUGLIFE meant The Hate You Gave Little Infants Fucks Everybody ,and that exactly was he reaction to this song.
Whoa! This hits really hard.
I agree, it took me a few days to even fully process it.
@@lillyjanereacts The only songs I've heard from 2PAC are the ones you reacted to, and so far his work is amazing. Rap isn't my thing, but I can tell talent when I see it.
@@lillyjanereactsgirl 2pac is a unbelievable hip-hop icon forever more than life itself and do u can't see me and do for love and how do you want it and me against the world
Mama's just a little girl by Pac
I'll have to check that one out!
Please
For far for me the deepest song from Tupac, everything I need to cry!!
2pacs Tunes were literally movies, you can feel amd visualise everything - bloody legend
What he wrapped about was real things that really happened in the world that nobody really wants to talk about he was really before his time as far as music goes he was a great rapper no one will ever be as good as him people have come close but they'll never be another Tupac
I really respect Tupac's Character today.
I didn't appreciate him when he was here. It was the 90's.
Drugs and Gang violence were predominant in most communities. He had that same Thug Life Mentallity I seen in my neighborhood daily.
So I put him in the category of people I couldn't support.
Then Lilly Jane started reactions to his music and I heard the song Changes. And I quit judging the book by its cover. Once I started listening to his Lyrics, I came to the conclusion that Tupac was trying to change our hearts. He wanted us to love everyone. He was tired of seeing communities being ruined by crime drugs and gangs.
Tupac wasn't a gangster, he was an entertainer. He went to Juliard... A performing arts school. He had the dream of being an actor, not an industry puppet selling death to kids.
❤ R.I.P. Pac..
We love you man...
A lesson that a portrayal is not always reality.
You should check out his songs Resist The Temptation and Dope Fiends Diner. Tear Drops and Closed Caskets is another good story.
So many tears, life goes on, unconditional love and better days are good Tupac songs
This is based on a real story. It;s not just ficton.
When hip hop had lyrics that touched the heart and soul
its wild how many people 2 pac touched from so many walks of life so many years later
Tupac read an article about this actual story while he was shooting the movie Juice so je wrote this song about it. Based on a true story
Your reaction brought tears to my eyes you do a great job at your videos and views.
This was the song that put 2pac in the light-
This is one of the many reasons why he’s by favorite rapper was so real
The best way to listen to this song is to listen to it once, read about the story of Brenda, then listen to this song again. Until you know about her situation, a lot of the finer points of this song won't make sense and it won't hit as hard as it does when you know why Tupac is saying certain things in the song.
You don't listen Tupac you feel Tupac
Some say 2pac uses so much prophanity in his songs...I don't give a damn. Songs are solid as fck.
That baby ended up graduating top of her class
I've heard all of these Pac songs many times, but man, they really hit different when also reading the lyrics.
such a good song and beat. RIP Pac
True story
I love your reaction. So real. You are wise and understanding of reality
This was a true story.
This song is based on a true story that happened in New York in the early 90s. Pac said he wrote the song cause everyday the story got smaller and smaller in the paper
Of all your reactions this is the first one to get you up out of your chair!!! Nuff said 2pac is the GOAT!!!
Truth, I thought about that when I was editing. 2pac is the GOAT.
@@lillyjanereacts of all the music reactors such as yourself i've never seen someone pick up on the lyrics so fast of all kinds of music like you do, it's cool to see, your reactions are so genuine!
You said it best, people can make it out if somebody helped..the most underrated line of the song is 2pac saying, “just cause your in the ghetto doesn’t mean you can’t grow”. 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah this song is like:
"Yeah you thought the last fact was bad.. well here's something worse" :( just a very sad, but real song
2Pac -They don’t give a f*ck about us.
Great message
He did what he needs to explain after 30s or 40s...genius and rip
Almost 30 yrs has passed and pac can still touch yr soul. Wat a choooon.
The video hits so much more!!
This song is like an after school special.
Pac was a fucking beast!
Love that man.
So far I am really digging his stuff
@@lillyjanereacts Look up "When thugs cry" og version. If it is a woman singing the refrain, you got the wrong one.
The instrumental music is "Fragile" by Sting.
This is a classic and a master class in story telling....I just suggest this song in one of your other videos. £Powerful
2Pac "Black Jesus" & "Who do you believe in" are 2 of his deepest Spiritual songs ever. You should listen to and give your reactions to them.
I love this reaction. You really connected with Brenda.
He made this track when he was making the movie "juice" and yes he took it personal look up that story and react to that.
Respectfully
Listen to so many tears by tupac
This is what u call a lyricist…This was his first single as a artist..Came in the game hot..
Great reaction 👍👍
Unconditional Love by 2pac you'll like it as well
I miss Pac😥
Yes , brenda is true story definitely, she was murdered
This song tells you everything you need to know about the type of person TUPAC was. This song is how he wanted to be introduced to the world as a solo artist. to be relatively unknown and put yourself out there with these lyrics, and the content is just something special
Letter to my unborn...unconditional love...to live and die in la...we bomb first.. ballad of dead soldier ...ghetto gospel....running feat biggie small...only god can judge me ....trade war stories...
The Game said,
Pac's Gone And Brenda's Still Throwing Babies In The Garbage...
There is an actual story that inspires the song.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ from 🇱🇰
More Pac reactions 🔥🚨
Hope you’re having a great day
I saw your last comment by the way man, please be strong. Know the world needs you even if it doesn't feel like it. Being honest, I was worried when you stopped commenting for awhile. I thought you unsubbed or something was wrong. I am just thankful you are okay.
@@lillyjanereactsyou’re so sweet
2pac fought this to be on the record and to be the single and the label didnt want this but they gave in it became an instant hit
Only pac can make this no one else true artist
tupac, unconditional love. PLZ!!
react to 2pac so many tears
THE SAD PART of this song it’s so VERY TRUE AND THEIR ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE NEED HELP WHEN THEY ASK FOR IT THEY DON’T GET THE HELP one of my sisters had that happen to her the same thing with my wife when she was 13 years old she went to the cops they it was her fault she was at where she lived in her own bed and the person went into her house then 2 months later his brother did the same thing and once again the cops did nothing at all
I am a big fan of 2Pac. Love this song! Did you hear 2 Pac Papa'z Song? You should react to the new update.
He read the story about Brenda in a newspaper and Then he wrote a song about her
No. He read about a baby Dat was thrown in trash
This was his first masterpiece
fire great content
The music video for this song actually shows a picture of the real Brenda at the end of the video.
Based on a real story
Tupac the deepest mother f to grab a mic!
Just stumble on your feed on you tube you rock
You have to watch the music video. Real story Pac seen In the news. Wrote a song about it. 2pac was a great storyteller.
Pac Number One
This song was based off a true story/person. Unfortunately happens all the time
You should react to Dopfiend's diner by Tupac, another classic tragic song by him. R.I.P.
I'm just now going down the Tupac Rabbit Hole. I am LITERALLY hearing this with you for the first time. I had no desire to listen to rap as a teen until Eminem gained momentum. And I just entered my Freshman year of High School (1996) when Tupac was shot and killed, because I remember seeing posters hung up in the school hallway. God rest his soul.
I should also note that I'm pro life. After all, I wouldn't be here If abortion in the 80's was hot and heavy as it was now. Don't abort, adopt
Yes absolutely, society failed Brenda and as sad as that is it’s something we should be outraged about because this isn’t anything new and it still happens. We all need to come together and do better
Arguably one of the most disturbing songs ever created but also very important song that everyone needs to hear.
Pac, new how to hit a nerve didn't he🥺
The song is actually based on a true story
Only god can judge me from Tupac
Actually I don't know if "Brenda" was her actual name but she was based on an actual person that Pac read about, as recounted by actor Omar Epps on the set of Juice.
I hate this song but i love it every time i listen no matter how many times i listen it brings tears to my eyes. This is actually based on a true story
Pac read a news article about Brenda and wrote this song this is Pacs first got and the record label didn't want to put it out Pac forced Interscope to put the song out
I'd check out Dope Fiens Diner. There is no video to it and its a very little-known Tupac song but it hits very hard.
Watch the video it brings the song to live even more
If no one has told you in the comments yet. He was reading an article about a 12 year old girl who gave birth to a baby and her situation was what he describes in this song so he used his voice and platform to project the horrors of adolescence and SA
It's a ture story about a girl I believe she was in the Oakland
