tips if you’re a procrastinator like me: 1. break up the assignment of task into small pieces. 2. Tell yourself that it’s easy or it won’t take very long. 3. Organise before doing homework, it gets you in a productive mood. ie: filling in your planner, writing out a wish list or to do list. 4. The music part is so true! I listened to Lofi study beats on Spotify while studying for my apush exam for like 3-4 hours a day last year. My Spotify wrapped got messed up big time but its worth it.

Hey guys I just want to help out so here are some of my tips: - study everyday, even if it means just writing bullet points of what you learned - write ur notes by hand - write specific to-do lists. Make sure you break each big task in smaller ones so you don't feel so pressured or intimidated by it - drink water and have healthy snacks while studying. - have a designated space to study, also put clothes that make you comfortable but not too much so that you will still feel productive - treat yourself after accomplishing something in your to-do list - have a routine and FOLLOW it! - don't compare yourself to your friends as to how they are doing in school - have your study music - keep your room clean and organised - plan ahead every week I hope this helped you a little :)
yep! but I did just find out that my zebra markers have ANOTHER pen on the back, so totally worth the distraction! How have i used these pens for over 3 years and not noticed? I even twisted the cap a couple times and wondered why it moved. :P
cecilia thdbdj i have a bujo and an instagram account for it (@ggeukie) idk if its nice but??? and i have school and im really busy so thanks lol gdhdchnsjc
My tips: - Don’t overwhelm yourself. If it’s due in a week, break it up. You don’t have to do it the first day and you shouldn’t do it the last. - Particularly with history courses (I was a history major,) wrote down EVERYTHING during the lecture. Even if you know it already, it’s best to always jot it down. - DONT do all nighters unless you literally have not choice. They mess with your sleep schedule and often times if does more harm than good. - You get a lot of freedom in college, but that isn’t always good. You have to organize yourself and at least jot down in your notebook homework or the next test or what reading you need. I didn’t do this in my freshman year and it was a struggle. College didn’t hurt me so much I’m not going to grad school, as I want to be a librarian and kinda have to lol. But it’s hard to get used to but once you get in a rhythm college can be a fun experience!
My number one study tip is to double column notes! I split my pages vertically into 1/3 and 2/3 sections-the right 2/3 of the page are my lecture notes/reading notes and the left 1/3 is my personal notes, whether it’s redefining a term, definitions, questions to ask the professor, things to revisit later etc. This system keeps my notes from getting too cluttered while still leaving me lots of room for annotating!xx
here are some (personal)tips that helped me alot: (i'm a hs student) -study until you are confident in what you know and that you will do well -memorization is good, but it's a lot easier to learn more/ remember more if you actually understand what you are learning/studying -quizlet, and make your own quizlet, because the definitions can be more personalized and more effective when you type everything out - use your resources! khan academy, practice tests, textbooks, practice problems, etc. - sometimes you fail, sometimes you pass, just stay positive and aim higher next time! good luck :)
i have a tip : recording classes. this helps me when theres a loooot of info or so many things to memorise and i wouldnt know whether to take notes or pay attention and it gets overwhelming just record that cLASS and listen to it when on ur way back home or on the train or whatever it may be !!!!
@@nicole-wf4pe with my phone yes like put the recording "mic" thing towards to direction of the sounds. what i do is put my backpack on the table (if theres enough space) and just let the end of the phone out of a pocket or smthng or simply put ur phone on the table and direct it to the sound. i usually sit in front rows for such classes it helps better !!
Hahaha This reminds me that my friend and I went to silent space to make sure that we don’t talk to each other too much. But we ended up texting instead of studying...

A tip that I’ve learned to studying as a computer science major: study until you know the topic so well that you’re able to teach it to someone with little to no knowledge on the subject :)
regarding the "believe in yourself" part: I really resonated with the idea that somebody needs to believe in you and cheer you on, and it might as well be you. I've found myself in a position where I would constantly look for outside motivation and validation to soothe my anxiety, but in the end, only I can tell myself that I'm going to be okay no matter what. It's very helpful to have friends around, but in the end it's gotta be you. Also it helps to remember that confidence isn't the belief in self, but the willingness to try.
I'm a medical students and for me having an As or Bs in classes is the hardest shit ever. in my first and second year of college, my grades was really low and I came to realise that I think my problem was that I didn't find a good way to learn for myself. I use to never take notes at class or even attending class, I know I'm stupid lol. but because of this video -and many others inspirational video- I believe that I actually can do it and will graduate too! so thank you so much, this video is very helpful for someone who didn't know the best study tips. much love
Fresh poop that’s awesome!! So are you in medical school? How was your first 4 years of college before going to medical school? I’m a freshman and I’m in premed (so far xD)
Anatomy & Physiology is hard! I’m in the second year of pre-med school. I had to drop same classes several times due to the professors and high stress. My advice: research everything about the materials in the classes. You would be surprised how much of stuff you missed if you didn’t look in first place!
this was such a great tips video! I'm in college right now and I think another good tip for people is, if you are a person who can't focus well at home/dorm and doing homework or studying is hard cause you get easily distracted, I 100% recommend going to the library or a coffee shop. What I have learned is that sometimes being in an environment where everyone is working hard can be a great motivation to get stuff done.

hey nina, i am a college student. the last semester was a mess to me. a few days before the final exam, i watched this video. it was really helpful to me, and i downloaded this video to mp3 and listened to your tips for a few times before the exam. the the results came out, i was really happy that my hard work has been paid off. thank you for the tips, thank you very much!
I’m starting my first year of college and my anxiety is at its all time high but I’ve already started to write all my assignments in a planner. WE GOT THIS GUYS. LETS HAVE A GOOD YEAR 🥺💜
I know this is old, but thank you so much! - Your aesthetic and your humour makes your videos very fun to watch, and give me more confidence to do your tips. Your tips are very detailed, yet not boring. You make a good impression on studying a lot, and overachieving. Right when I finish this video, I am going to organize my desk and start to use my bullet journal! Thank you so much for your positive videos and tips! -
I can't stress enough how perfect this video is! Pretty much every study motivation video I watched up until now was like "you don't need a life, just be organized and study as hard as you can", but instead here what I found was peace and a little "it's ok not to be ok sometimes" and honestly this feels really nice to hear....my first year of college so far has been terrible so thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️
Hi! I'm a senior right now in college, and am taking a break from studying for my chem class (summer semester), rn LOL. But as I watched your video, I agreed with your tips/advice so much!! ^^ I do the EXACT same thing with my notes and was kinda happy I wasn't the only one who annotates my own notes over and over again haha. You gave amazing advice and congrats again on your accomplishment for graduating from UC Berkley!! :))
a motivation speech that I needed bcos ur girl is having a hard time with my last year of high school and the pressure of getting into a university, ILY NINA 💗
You really helped me get over my anxiety. I had my exams a few weeks ago and i was just watching your videos and trying to calm down. Everyone needs a personal Nina in their life🙃
I used to be kinda scared about university and all that , but watching your videos has made me feel less anxious about it! In a year I'll be starting university , I hope everything turns out okay :')
so helpful, thank you!! what also helps me a lot is to remember that yes, I will get through everything, but I might also fail at some point(s) and that's okay too (I don't know how your education system works exactly, but I assume that you can also take a course/exam again if you don't pass, and there really is no shame in having to do that, or not graduating as soon as you would like)
Nina the tips that you gave us is a big whole lesson for us! Really thank you so much for this lesson which you called as 'tips' I have a whole supportive family who believe in me but the sad thing is I wasn't able to believe myself especially when my mid terms were nearing I was like ' oh no what I am going to do and what if I fail the test I haven't studied anything yet!!' even though I had a week before my mid terms but for the whole week I was like this, like stressed out and tensed and I tried watching a lot of videos but nothing helped me to overcome my stress and anxiety... And suddenly one day I felt like I was dead.. I wasn't able to breathe.. my hands got stiff and I completely lost my control and in didn't know what I was doing.. I didn't know what happened to me.. the whole world turned white and blank.. my hands and my legs were cold as ice.. I wasn't able to hear my parents clearly.. it felt like I was under a deep ocean.. The main reason for this was the stress that I had and anxiety and tension.. my dad is the huge support to me.. he advised me not to get tensed and don't be afraid of anything.. he told me no one wants you to get amazing and extraordinary grades.. we just want you to do your best and you have to believe in yourself.. He just told the same thing that you said.. grades don't define you, the only thing that defines you is how much effort youve put in learning something and how much you have learnt.. don't worry if you didn't or can't get good grades cause life doesn't end here.. you still have lots of chance to be the no. 1 atleast once.. you only have few months left for you to graduate (I am in my last year of my high school).. so if you start to study now you will definitely make it to the best or atleast you will get appreciable grades.. My mid terms starts in less than 3 days.. I still haven't studied anything yet.. I am going to start studying as much as I could but I am not gonna cram... I am gonna believe myself... I don't have holidays in between my exams but still I am gonna do my best and even though my grades w will be the bad but I am not gonna stop there and I will try my best in everything!!! Really thanks a lot for this video nina 언니!!! 정말 감사해요 소미 언니!!! Like this comment if your dad is your super hero!!
thank you for your words, really. i'm a beginner in college and I already had a lot of moments like "what if I never graduate?" so u helped me a lot with this video. thank you!
Hey there, 4 years in the future, I stumble upon this video. I’m studying college again (changed programs, too, lol) and currently a sophomore, and I absolutely loved the end part the most. It’s very motivational, and exactly what I needed to hear. I’m older than my blockmates, so I find it a little difficult to bond with them (I do talk to them, they’re great and nice people), so hearing that it’s okay if I have to (sometimes) be my own cheerleader is validating and comforting. And thanks so much for the tips! I personally colour-code my notes. I write on a yellow pad sheet of paper, folded length-wise, write with black ink, then re-write it in my ONE notebook, with black, blue, and orange pens, and whatever colour marker I assigned to it. That’s how I review, too, lol.
I want to organize my time for self care, hobbies, and socializing all while still studying and not failing a class, but as a pre med student, relaxing and trying to even sleep is already impossible. Truly what a time to be alive! 👁️💧👄💧👁️
I literally have mock exams in 2 weeks, I haven't touched my text book....but this video itself just gave me motivation to study and ideas so thank you neen!
I'm not going to lie, I actually cried at the ending of this video. I needed that motivational speech. I really did. And I probably still will sometimes.
this was literally the best study tips video i've ever seen. i'm about to go into my second year of university in the end of september and your 'believe in yourself/take care of yourself' motivational speech was SO heartwarming!
girl i need all the advice i can get as a current college student 😩🙌🏼 i need to learn to balance making youtube videos, getting A's and graduating college
Thank you so much for this. I started university this October and yesterday, I wrote my first test in one of my history classes about middle age. And studying stressed me so out, I couldn't even sleep properly anymore because of anxiety. And getting some tips about managing the amount of studying (for tests, doing homework, preparing for classes, review classes,...) is really helpful to keep myself at peace right now (while late-night studying for one of my literature classes) and to motivate me to keep going. Thank you for this :)
its past midnight here and im just not motivated and just tired to do anything not even my homework but i know that i need to do my homework and i stumble across ur video and i just want to say thank you. i dont remember the last time someone said something about believing in myself and i am just fucking sobbing right now because i never knew how much i needed someone to say that... so thank you... just thank you
this is so inspiring. its my college orientation this friday and the whole video just gives me so much motivation to have more courage with whatever life will install for me so thank u so much luv 💕
i wanted to say that the message about encountering a lot of negativity and stress leading you to dark places are so true. and something about the way you said it here makes me feel as though you've overcome these many times and it breaks my heart to know that other people have suffered this too. feeling this way is difficult to say the least. it's draining. still, it is something i aim to work on. thank you for mentioning it because i really needed it love u
I love this! Everyone goes through life differently and there's no set time frame that's "right" or "wrong." I went to community college for 2 years after high school and am finishing my Bachelors degree at a University now. The best studying/learning tip I ever received was from my Calculus professor. He said to find a friend, family member, or stranger and try to teach them/explain to them what you are learning without looking at notes. If you can't explain something thoroughly that mean's you don't truly know it yet and need to spend more time studying!
“Grades dont define you it just defines whether you get stuff done or not.” Needed that
MostlyMatt as a prodigy how threw away school because I was bored out of my mind and don’t like homework, I can assure you that
Me too. I spent high school only doing well by luck and not effort, and now it's come to the time where luck won't support me and effort is necessary. I'm finding it hard and cursing at myself for not figuring out how to get stuff done before now

Yeah tbh it seems mostly about deadlines. A little bit more work, but all about deadlines.
Agreed.

tips if you’re a procrastinator like me:
1. break up the assignment of task into small pieces.
2. Tell yourself that it’s easy or it won’t take very long.
3. Organise before doing homework, it gets you in a productive mood. ie: filling in your planner, writing out a wish list or to do list.
4. Listen to music that doesn’t have any lyrics or isn’t in your native language. (Basically you cant sing along or get distracted by)
5. Clean your surroundings before starting. The less the clutter the more your mind will be clear.
You can get through this! 💞

Hey guys I just want to help out so here are some of my tips:
- study everyday, even if it means just writing bullet points of what you learned
- write ur notes by hand
- write specific to-do lists. Make sure you break each big task in smaller ones so you don't feel so pressured or intimidated by it
- drink water and have healthy snacks while studying.
- have a designated space to study, also put clothes that make you comfortable but not too much so that you will still feel productive
- treat yourself after accomplishing something in your to-do list
- have a routine and FOLLOW it!
- don't compare yourself to your friends as to how they are doing in school
- have your study music
- keep your room clean and organised
- plan ahead every week
I hope this helped you a little :)
Thanks :)
Thanks! ❤️

I’m starting my first year of college and my anxiety is at its all time high but I’ve already started to write all my assignments in a planner. WE GOT THIS GUYS. LETS HAVE A GOOD YEAR 🥺💜
This made me feel better about school starting again, I was being literally taken over by anxiety
she said "it's ok everything will pass" and lowkey immediately thought of bts's "life goes on" she's ahead of the times bro

“ahh i dropped it nooo”
what did you dropped?
“my will to study”
I know this is old, but thank you so much!
- Your aesthetic and your humour makes your videos very fun to watch, and give me more confidence to do your tips. Your tips are very detailed, yet not boring. You make a good impression on studying a lot, and overachieving. Right when I finish this video, I am going to organize my desk and start to use my bullet journal! Thank you so much for your positive videos and tips! -
Nina should start a podcast about study motivation... I haven’t been able to find a good one :(
Also - This is gold!
While I study video like this helps with concentration ruclips.net/video/TxGyizNVEKU/видео.html
I haven't watched an oh no ninna video in like 2 maybe 3 months and hearing the "hello my friends" intro instantly make me smile soo widely

My college will start on Thursday. Im still a freshman but thank you for this Ninaaaa
nina you dont know how much this means to me, especially the last part. Really thanks for your kindly sharing.
omg I was tearing up when you talked about your last few weeks of college... :(
@@_almadmr No, it just made me a little sad to think she was having a hard time. Thanks for asking though 😊
I felt that :(
"grades don't define you , they define if you get the work done or not " I liked that quote from you
Welp I'm nowhere NEAR an A student, more like a ''as long as I pass I'm good'' student, but thanks for the motivation to study! I really needed it :D
nina, you never fail to make my day
thank you for your advice i am STRESSED!! and ANXIOUS!!! for college this september
love you ☺💜
Everyone needs a personal Nina in their life🙃
i come to this video every now and then just to hear your lil speech i love it sm tyy
I used to be kinda scared about university and all that , but watching your videos has made me feel less anxious about it! In a year I'll be starting university , I hope everything turns out okay :')
so helpful, thank you!!
what also helps me a lot is to remember that yes, I will get through everything, but I might also fail at some point(s) and that's okay too (I don't know how your education system works exactly, but I assume that you can also take a course/exam again if you don't pass, and there really is no shame in having to do that, or not graduating as soon as you would like)
completely lost it when she went “oh god i forgot to take my vitamins”
“I’ll eat my vitamins later...”
Nina the tips that you gave us is a big whole lesson for us! Really thank you so much for this lesson which you called as 'tips'
I have a whole supportive family who believe in me but the sad thing is I wasn't able to believe myself especially when my mid terms were nearing I was like ' oh no what I am going to do and what if I fail the test I haven't studied anything yet!!' even though I had a week before my mid terms but for the whole week I was like this, like stressed out and tensed and I tried watching a lot of videos but nothing helped me to overcome my stress and anxiety...
Like this comment if your dad is your super hero!!
thank you for your words, really. i'm a beginner in college and I already had a lot of moments like "what if I never graduate?" so u helped me a lot with this video. thank you!
I see mang and chimmy in the background 😉💕💜💖💗
GUCCI TAE TAE and shooky💕💕💜
Okay that reassurance at the end is what I needed I'm teary-eyed
I'm not even into college yet but you know it's Nina!
You remind me so much of Namjoon
i needed this. as an architecture student, i have a lot of manual work but the tips are very valid. thanks nina! ily 💞🌼🦀💟
My sister recently graduated from architecture! You'll get through it but I know it's really tough!! Sending good vibes!!!💛💛💛
@@citlallirue1300 thanks! 💛💛💛
do you have any tips ? I also study architecture
I literally have mock exams in 2 weeks, I haven't touched my text book....but this video itself just gave me motivation to study and ideas so thank you neen!
THANK YOU! I just finish a semester and... GOD! It was so hard to manage time bc I have a full time job. Love you! 💕
You motivate me
I just graduated high school and so this is great timing and very helpful 👍🏼💕 I also love listening to those playlist when studying it really helps
Thank you for this :)
its past midnight here and im just not motivated and just tired to do anything not even my homework but i know that i need to do my homework and i stumble across ur video and i just want to say thank you. i dont remember the last time someone said something about believing in myself and i am just fucking sobbing right now because i never knew how much i needed someone to say that... so thank you... just thank you
I’m taking AP and honors next year so thx for the motivation to start early 💜ur so prettiii✨
Wowww you sound like me when I was in high school! The workload may be tough sometimes but you are capable! Good luck!!!
Mari G THANK YOU SMMM🥺✊🏼💜

i like how simplistic and minimal this video is and its organized, very motivational. i needed this
this is so inspiring. its my college orientation this friday and the whole video just gives me so much motivation to have more courage with whatever life will install for me so thank u so much luv 💕
thank you nina :) i start my first year of college really soon (in two months) so i needed this!! congratulations on graduating 💕💕
clara m same. Are u hella nervous/excited too?
notification gang!!
why am i watching this i am nowhere near graduating high school
i wanted to say that the message about encountering a lot of negativity and stress leading you to dark places are so true. and something about the way you said it here makes me feel as though you've overcome these many times and it breaks my heart to know that other people have suffered this too. feeling this way is difficult to say the least. it's draining. still, it is something i aim to work on. thank you for mentioning it because i really needed it
love u
that hug in the end was so cute and such a warm gesture 🥺❤️

thank you so much for this video. i've been lacking motivation for the past months, and this helped a lot!!
I just started my second year and I still don't have my shit together. thank you for this nina!
