His father wanted it to be a surprise, so he told everyone not to tell Dimash he was there. I love the moment when Dimash finally sees him, and the reunion after Dimash leaves the stage is awesome!!! Papa Kanat 3:49, 7:27, 9:37.
I love how playful and flirty his voice is in this song! While Vitas is good (it is his song after all), Dimash's voice is fuller and with a lot of overtones! He definitely had fun with this, especially with that cheeky smile! LOL Vitas only took this song up one key change. Dimash does 2 more on top of that. Fun note, you'll catch the camera quickly panning to a man off to the side. That's his dad, Kanat, who surprised Dimash by coming. He didn't appear until Dimash started, because he didn't want to make his son nervous.
@@maggiereneemusic And Dimash did this marvelous doubletake when he spotted his dad, kept going on with his thank yous and then practically RAN off the stage for a big bear hug with his dad. Very touching...

@@maggiereneemusic He did not know that his father was there and had not seen him for a long time. He explained afterwards that he would not have been so "sassy" if he had known, but was very, very happy to see him
Nice reaction. He performed that better than Vitas. Vitas threatened to sue Dimash if he ever sang it again, that is what I heard. Thank you and stay safe
i first heard the same, but then someone else commented that it was not about Vitas and Dimash themselves, but more about (poor) management of many parties involved in getting or not getting the correct rights in time to do a cover of Vitas' song in that chinese show. i don't know any details, but let's not assume that "Vitas threatened" and only be sad that some unknown people messed up the situation behind the show that lead to this song no longer be performed by Dimash ever after.
@@riffgroove True, but again, there is no evidence Vitas himself was in any way involved with all of that. Let's not spread, or believe, unsupported gossip. Music labels and management do all kinds of things that the artists are unaware of or don't get involved with. @@MiddleAgedBob Sorry, I'm not *nearly* naive enough to believe that if Vitas was really okay with Dimash's cover he would have allowed his lawyers and publicists to threaten legal action if he ever performed it again.
There was a shortage of sopranos in his university choir, so Dimash went in to sing. He said he loved it as there were a lot of pretty girls 😁💖 he just successfully defended his Masters thesis with a score of 100% and a recommendation for his PhD 👏👏👏🌺🌺🌺
He makes us smile, as you do. Unforgettable Day at Gakku will blow your socks off. There is s part what nobody else, ever, has done in live performance. Sit tight if you choose that. Smiling makes life worth it.
I just love the warmth and intimacy of the singing of the verses..these lyrics are very dark yet he delivers them with an irresistible twinkle in his eyes. And his attitude is an amazing mix of cheeky humour and badass showing off.. I think this works so well these two attitudes balance each other.. Dimash is actually a master artist, how impressive is this at 22 years old.. How can we not love him?
His stage presence makes me laugh, in the very best way. He's the best, he knows it, but he plays with it, both with his voice and his expressions. When he performs Ogni Pietra, it is beyond amazing!
My favorite is Love is Like a Dream. He sings in beautiful low tones which I love and a bit of Ava Marie which as an opera singer she will appreciate. This song got best cover of the year in Russia and Dimash received an award.
Thanks, Maggie, for another comprehensive review. Please continue including your illustrations that help explain the mechanics of what Dimash is doing. It helps to advance a greater understanding among your viewers of the complexity within each moment in his performances. You said: "[Dimash] always seems to know exactly where his limits are." Dimash: "Maggie, please hold my beer. [Dimash sings] … Surprise!" A friend of mine and his wife were over for dinner one evening in mid-2018. I played Dimash's Opera 2 video through a projector (which made Dimash life-size) with surround sound. My friend is a structural engineer who specializes in the impact of wind, water, seismic, and sound waves on buildings. He asked me to play two sections repeatedly (in your video at 9:21 and 9:31). He said the movement of Dimash's head is involuntary. He maintained the combination of his voice with the locked openness of his jaw and soft and hard palettes that act as a megaphone for the sound waves cause his entire skull to vibrate from the intensity of the resonance. He wrote out a formula on a piece of paper and spoke about waves and simple calculus. He saw my eyes cross and glaze over. I assured him that the formula looked really pretty, but I argued there is no such thing as "simple" calculus. So he patiently explained his formula by comparing Dimash's head movement to the beams in a building vibrating from seismic activity or to the water in the glass vibrating from the heavy T-Rex steps in Jurassic Park. Your thoughts?
Wow that is interesting. I remember there was quite a debate on the head shaking with some ppl saying its bad technique (yeah from the monster of techniques) Tara Simon's take was its actually the sheer power of his voice resonating in the skull. Your friends explanation matches, even Dimash on the science says singing is a sport, training the body and those vocal muscles is part of the equation for making beautiful art with the voice.
Gosh your facial expressions when he gets in his alien mode were just priceless 🤣 when i was watching i was like „yeah ikr .. wait wait there’s more 👽“

Your reactions are very natural. No fake emotions. That's why I like your reactions. Wish to watch your reaction to Dimash's "Confessa+Diva dance" performance. It is also opera.
And if you do Confessa + Diva Dance from the Singer show, please react also to the other two versions of The Diva Dance: The one from the Bastau concert and the duet with Li Yugang. You will hear different things in all three versions, and they are not too long for one reaction video. 🦄

Hello from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. I love your reaction. Dimash has just defended his Master's with top score. Tank you for the beautiful reaction! 😘❤🇧🇷🇧🇷
Dimash is out of this world the best of the best voice & singer of all time. He’s exciting & has such incredible abilities like no other. Music is his passion & he was born for this, truly once in a lifetime singer. Thank you for your great reaction to him.😍❤️🇨🇦
His tone and color on those upper notes are so full and rich, it's hard to believe they're coming out of a male. That's one of my favorite noises I could listen to songs with those in it all day. He did the stops because people have accused him of Lip Syncing. Dimash has a dream to take the mantle of Michael Jackson and become this era's MJ. Dimash has been training since he was 6 years old. His mother is an Opera singer in their country. Apparently she is quite good. He has been blessed with a tidal wave of talent from his gene pool. Juxta-pose that with me, who even though there were plenty of very good genes in my pool, I got the ones that left me bereft of talent. Oh well life goes on. Thanks for your reaction, He really is unbelievable.
MAGGIE!.....THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!.....“Opera2” is a Russian song. Vitas is the original singer and modulation once. Dimash effortlessly took it higher modulating an amazing three key changes. Currently his range is 6 octaves from F2 to D8 ......Dimash is the best voice in the world!...greetings from a Mexican Dear!....❤️🇲🇽👏🏻🥰🇰🇿
He really was sassy, wasn't he? (I get the vibe that you're a little sassy yourself! 😉) I love that about him and really love this performance. He lets his hair down during his concerts a lot, and they're so fun to watch. In one of his concert performances he did quite a sexy dance with one of his female dancers (All his Dears know who Katrina is!) and afterwards he bent down and whispered for his Dears not to be jealous because "it's just my work (job)". It was so cute! Anyway, I love your reactions because you're so knowledgeable and point out things we laymen don't know. So many suggestions so I'll just sit back and enjoy whichever performances you choose. Hugs from Las Vegas!
Since you're a trained Opera Singer, I think your next choice has to be either "Olimpico" the Arnau concert version. Not the fan cam versions as the sound quality is very poor. Or his duet with World famous Russian Soprano Aida Garifallina at the VTB Arena Ice Palace in Moscow. The song is called "Ullise" written by Russian Maestro Igor Krutoy at the piano, along with full Orchestra, Choir and World and Olympic Ice Skaters. This is a truly amazing concert performance Not to be missed. Once in a century a talent like Dimash comes along, we're all incredibly fortunate to witness it. 😊🏴👍
Fan cam version may be a better video, but it has poorer audio. I'd recommend what another channel did, and sync the two videos so you can use the better audio.
Thanks for reacting to our Prince Dimash. He is many things great about musical techniques, but what I love more about him is the amount of emotions he puts into each song he performs. Please keep reacting to him, "Passione" in particular if you want some mixed feelings of weirdness and awesomeness at the same time. Cheers!! 🦄
Amazing one Maggie 🦄🦄❤️ Completely loved it ‼️❤️ My recommendation for you is to hear "LOVE IS LIKE A DREAM" 🙌🏽 You are gonna LOVE IT 🤩❤️ Blessings from Peru 🇵🇪

I am obsessed with watching people who comprehend what he is doing react for the first time hearing him. especially this song. I am not sure why though, but i got all excited when I first saw him, and I showed my husband and my son, expecting them to have that reaction.... they didn't. I don't really know how or why they don't feel it or understand the complexity so I ended up looking for reactions. after some reactions from random people with the same, "yeah he is great, sings like girl, but i don't like opera" responses. .. I decided to look up people who know what he is doing. and I love it. the reactions to him, it's incredible to see that recognition of skill. and you and a couple others are able to explain why in these, and that is something I really appreciate. It teaches all the things that go into something that is mere minutes long. They make it look easy. You make it look easy as well. underappreciated for sure.
Ogni Paetra will be more operatic and is stunning. Love your vids, and glad you found Dimash and his fans. I am a 60 year old Texas country singer ....and I listen to him daily. Otherworldly!! Much love!
Thanks Maggie - your education with your reaction is off the charts - really appreciate it - yes, a musical journey that is pulsating with possibilities and excitement - social media is exploding around Dimash right now and this is still the early stages - wow - don't forget Amira - i know you won't - also a remarkable musical journey and like Dimash every music lover should discover her - enjoy...
Well, then apparently Vitas is a sore loser! Between that and the lengths he’s gone to to pretend he can still hit those notes, it seems he’s really insecure. What a shame.
@@maybememory1 the music business is a tough business, and i read this too, but i also read someone answering that it was more about (poor) management of people behind the show and getting or not getting the necessary rights in time to cover Vitas' song in the chinese show. This would mean that it is nothing personal between Vitas and Dimash, but "only" some messed up situation that sadly lead to the (for us) important result that Dimash didn't perform this song ever after.
That's what 20 yrs of training does! Ogni Petra is amazing also & Unforgettable Day!! That's his proud Papa also in the audience! So much Love & Pride! I Love this man. He is addictive!
Lovely reaction! ❤️ As an opera singer you should definitely react to "Ogni Pietra'" with Dimash. It's a opera and he sings in Italian. It's just a big GASP, and beyond beautiful. Goes from baritone-soprano. 😊 Aaand, that vibrato in those high notes - that is almost impossible for us regular humans - well he does a couple of them in "Ogni Pietra" as well. ❤️ Alien I say!
Maggie, after more than three years after being ambushed during the Singer by Dimash singing SOS, I guess I have become a reactor to reactors. @@maggiereneemusic You are more than welcome. I have tried fiddling with the YT medium and I am still figuring out crayons. You do a great job. Your videos focus on what they should focus upon. Your reactions are very natural. No fake emotions. That's why I like your reactions. Wish to watch your reaction to Dimash's "Confessa+Diva dance" performance. It is also opera.
Thank you so much for your kind words!😁❤
And if you do Confessa + Diva Dance from the Singer show, please react also to the other two versions of The Diva Dance: The one from the Bastau concert and the duet with Li Yugang. You will hear different things in all three versions, and they are not too long for one reaction video. 🦄
Again great reaction

Hello from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. I love your reaction. Dimash has just defended his Master's with top score. Tank you for the beautiful reaction! 😘❤🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you for the info. I will be completing my Master's in 2 years! Sending greetings to 😘❤🇧🇷🇧🇷
Hlo dears, it's 2:30 early morning...with Dimash...crazy !!
😁
Dimash is out of this world the best of the best voice & singer of all time. He’s exciting & has such incredible abilities like no other. Music is his passion & he was born for this, truly once in a lifetime singer. Thank you for your great reaction to him.😍❤️🇨🇦
Thank you for your comment. Greetings to❤️🇨🇦. 😁
Thank you for your comment. Hope to see you at my Premiere of a new reaction video to Dimash in a few hours?
MAGGIE!.....THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!.....“Opera2” is a Russian song. Vitas is the original singer and modulation once. Dimash effortlessly took it higher modulating an amazing three key changes. Currently his range is 6 octaves from F2 to D8 ......Dimash is the best voice in the world!...greetings from a Mexican Dear!....❤️🇲🇽👏🏻🥰🇰🇿
Thank you for your comment and sending greetings to Mexican Dears!❤️🇲🇽👏🏻🥰🇰🇿
Love your reactions, dear!)) keep going!
Thank you so much!!😁❤
He really was sassy, wasn't he?
Thank you very much for your lovely comment and info! Sending hugs to Las Vegas!😁❤
Dimash is Dimash. The best, the best Singer in old of history!!!
😁
When you get excited and smile I find myself doing the same 😅 Love love your reaction 🦄 🦄 🦄
So glad you smiled! Thank you for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁❤🦄
For more operatic performances by Dimash, please, react to Ogni Pietra, or Ti amo cozi, or Ulisse
Added to my list! Thank you for your suggestions. 😁
Hola! Que emoción verte reaccionar otra vez a Dimash....tus expresiones son maravillosas! Gracias y bendiciones desde México.
Gracias y bendiciones a México!😁❤
Thank you for your suggestions. I appreciate your comment! 😁
Maggie Reneé I strongly suggest you watch the fan cam version, its right up in his face and you can see his flawless placement and technique.
Fan cam version may be a better video, but it has poorer audio.
I'd recommend what another channel did, and sync the two videos so you can use the better audio.
one in world history to be honest
Thanks for reacting to our Prince Dimash. He is many things great about musical techniques, but what I love more about him is the amount of emotions he puts into each song he performs. Please keep reacting to him, "Passione" in particular if you want some mixed feelings of weirdness and awesomeness at the same time. Cheers!! 🦄
Thank you for your suggestion and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁❤🦄
@@maggiereneemusic you're welcome Maggie. I love your reactions. Keep 'em coming!! 😊
Amazing one Maggie 🦄🦄❤️ Completely loved it ‼️❤️ My recommendation for you is to hear "LOVE IS LIKE A DREAM" 🙌🏽 You are gonna LOVE IT 🤩❤️ Blessings from Peru 🇵🇪

I have yet to hear a fella sing anywhere as marvelous as Dimash! I love his music and your reactions!!! I love your videos and how you take the time to explain in "laymen's" terms how they do it!
Thank you for your lovely comment! Hope to see you on my 3 Live Streams this week?
Hello! Nice reaction, again! 🦄 If you like to hear more opera from him you should listen “Olympico” (Ogni Pietra). And at the end, for fun, because is very short, Diva Dance from 5th Element movie. Enjoy discovering Dimash and thank you for sharing with us! 🙂
Thank you so much for you kind comment and suggestions, and for watching my video until the end. I really appreciate it. 😁❤🦄
@@maggiereneemusic Also Passione, Ulisse (with Aida Garifullina), Ti amo cosi (with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian)...

Dimash is so amazing and us Dears thank you for your creation and look forward to watching more to your Dimash Videos loving your contact keep up this wonderful work 💝💕
Thank you for your comment. Did you see my new video reaction to Diana Ankudinova I just posted?
Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope to see you on my LIVESTREAM today in less than 1 hour?
🦄🦄🦄 he is just that.. :D and Dimash's Dears somehow represent some of the greatest people humanity has brought forward
Dimash Dears have been fabulous to me so far! Thank you so much for watching my video until the end. I really appreciate it. 😁❤🦄
Ogni Paetra will be more operatic and is stunning. Love your vids, and glad you found Dimash and his fans. I am a 60 year old Texas country singer ....and I listen to him daily. Otherworldly!! Much love!
Awesome! Thank you!😁❤
Thanks Maggie - your education with your reaction is off the charts - really appreciate it - yes, a musical journey that is pulsating with possibilities and excitement - social media is exploding around Dimash right now and this is still the early stages - wow - don't forget Amira - i know you won't - also a remarkable musical journey and like Dimash every music lover should discover her - enjoy...
Thank you for your kind words and for your suggestions. 😁
Im sure he's the best singer i have ever heard. Great reaction, i learned a lot from you!
Thank you very much!😁❤
After this performance, Vitas forbade Dimash to perform his songs under threat of lawsuit.
Thank you for the info! 😁
Well, then apparently Vitas is a sore loser! Between that and the lengths he’s gone to to pretend he can still hit those notes, it seems he’s really insecure. What a shame.
@@maybememory1
Sounds more like a singer who is uncomfortable in his own skin.
Actually he performed this once more before he got the legal notice. I've got the video but I don't remember where I got it from.
That's what 20 yrs of training does! Ogni Petra is amazing also & Unforgettable Day!! That's his proud Papa also in the audience! So much Love & Pride! I Love this man. He is addictive!
Thank you for your suggestion! Just posted it! Hope you liked it? 😁❤
Dimash Diva Dance
Thank you for your suggestion. 😁
My favorite part is as he gets that impish grin as he keeps stepping into ever higher keys and just nails the heck out of it!
😁
Please react dimash (ogni pietra)
Added to my list! Thank you!😁
I'm not gonna lie, i came here a week ago to watch a Dimash reaction and now i'm kinda addicted to the reactor.
YAS!! That's so sweet!😍
Lovely reaction! ❤️
As an opera singer you should definitely react to "Ogni Pietra'" with Dimash.
It's a opera and he sings in Italian.
It's just a big GASP, and beyond beautiful.
Goes from baritone-soprano. 😊
Aaand, that vibrato in those high notes - that is almost impossible for us regular humans - well he does a couple of them in "Ogni Pietra" as well. ❤️
Alien I say!
Thank you for your suggestion. 😁 Excited to explore Dimash further!
He's an alien!) The best performer and vocalist ever known, I think) thanks for the reactions, hello from Kazakhstan
Thank you for watching! Sending greetings to Kazakhstan! 😁❤

Maggie, after more than three years after being ambushed during the Singer by Dimash singing SOS, I guess I have become a reactor to reactors. What they say and think about Dimash says far more about them than him. I really appreciate your reactions. You "Get it" on an emotional and cerebral level. Regarding you, young lady, you have such a warm, rich speaking voice. You can employ it on so many different levels. It's a gift. Explore various platforms to exercise your craft. When viewing you viewing Dimash we can see that you are emotionally honest and your observations deepen our understanding of the Prodigy...
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I really appreciate your taking the time to 'react' 😁 to me in an encouraging way. It takes me A LOT of time to edit and make these videos fun and entertaining in the end for the viewers so when my effort is noticed I am really grateful that people enjoy my videos! 😁❤
@@maggiereneemusic You are more than welcome. I have tried fiddling with the YT medium and I am still figuring out crayons. You do a great job. Your videos focus on what they should focus upon. Namely, the artist and then you. We watch for your reaction. You employ fun and creativity in displaying that to us. To be honest, most of us love watching reactors get ambushed when they first encounter Dimash, especially when they are thrilled by his voice in the early going and we know that you all have no idea what is really about to come down... I am deep down the Rabbit Hole and I love it when reactors can shine both emotional and technical light on the Phenom.
I love Dimash ❤ he is the best in the world.
😁
Thank you for your new reaction! Thank you for being. Thank you.
My pleasure!! Thank you for your lovely comment! 😁❤
I like your analysis and being so happy and excited :) I am not a fan of this song, but Dimash is doing amazing show out of it. I love what he does to almost every song that he sings, he just makes it his and he owns it :)
Thank you very much!😁❤

Loved your reaction. Opera 2 is one of my favorites because he's just so delightful to watch. His charisma is off the charts. No one like him ever. Thanks so much. Wish you all the best in your musical endeavors. USA Dear
Thank you for your comment! Sending greetings to USA Dears. 😁❤
opera 2 is okay but more fun, Adagio I believe came next and Lara Fabian liked his version. Sorry I don't have unicorn emogi
I am looking forward to Adagio! Added to my list! Thank you for your suggestion and for watching my video until the end. I really appreciate it. 😁❤🦄!
Adagio ( The singer performance) is one of my favourites too.🦄
Higher, and higher, and higher... O M G😍 His Dad (Man on dark with his hand up) was so proud❤️
Yep. 😍
Can you react to Dimash "Screaming", Idol Hits Version 🙂
Thank you for your suggestion. 😁
I'd say to react to both the Idol hits and the music video for comparison. The MV has some awesome staccati.
I loved it when she said "look at his little smile" and then he came back even higher and it packed a punch xD He can be so cute and funny sometimes but when it comes to his voice he's so powerful and mature, I love the two sides of his stage presence :) And especially in this performance! He starts off kind of spicy like he's telling a story to the audience, connecting with them with his gestures and voice inflection. And then later on he's just having so much fun with the audience and everybody is excited xD gotta love Dimash
Thank you for your nice comment. 😁😁
There was apparently some dust up between Hunan and Vitas regarding rights, in any event Vitas expressly prohibited Dimash from performing this again.
Thank you for the info.
UNBELIEVABLE. DIMASH is out of this world. Thanks
Thank you for watching and for your comment!😁
Thank you for your reaction!! If you want to hear Dimash going 100% operatic, you need to see "Ogni Pietra" (aka Olimpico). The version from his Astana solo concert is in my opinion the best, it's on Igor Krutoy's channel (the composer of the song).
Thank you for watching and for your suggestion. 😁
Your look of surprise is priceless! He has that effect on people, thanks for the video!
Thanks for your comment and for watching!😁
listen carefully, on the second part of the high notes, Dimash started at a high note unlike Vitas...Dimash always make a song his own...it feels like a completely new song
😁
Maggie, Dimash is an angel. Thank you for reacting to him! Love your videos so much.
Thank you for your comment. Will you be there for the new Dimash video Premiere?
The proof that Dimash is over Vitas as a singer and as a human been is that Vitas has prohibited Dimash to sing this song !!! This shows us what a "nice" character he has !!!
Thank you for the info!😁
