- The Chicago Bears drafted USC quarterback Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall and Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze at No. 9 pumping hope into a previously dormant fan base.
They're poised to build around the former Heisman winner and break the playoff win drought (2011) that has plagued the franchise.

I’ve never been so excited as a Bears fan. 41 years now! I was only 2 when Bears won the Super Bowl in the 85 season so basically my entire life they’ve been mid at best. Sure they had some really solid seasons and playoff runs… but they’ve all ended terribly.
I legit feel like the Bears are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

I have confidence in Eberflus, the defense, the WR's, TE's, RB's and OL.
I don't have confidence that Caleb Williams is a franchise QB until he proves it on the field. I think Justin Fields is a better QB and the franchise QB the Bears have wanted.
Based on his per game averages, Justin Fields would finish with 4,400 combined yards (passing/rushing) with 27 combined TD's.
Eberflus is a good coach and an outstanding defensive mind. His players, both offensive and defensive, play extremely hard for him because that's he holds them accountable while at the same time demanding respect for each and every player. The point you make is petty and says more about you than Eberfluss. You talk too much and say too little.

I think there’s a good shot Bears get to the Super Bowl within Caleb’s rookie contract. Don’t think it will be this year, and probably not next year… but after that, if the offensive scheme and coaching personnel aren’t a revolving door I think it’ll happen
