      The backers can only do so much with a weak interior DL. And we lost our best interior lineman to AZ. Even the great one Dick Butkus was adamant about the need for a functional line in front of him to enable him to do what he did.
      RIP Dick...
      Sewell, you've got some BIG (LEGACY) shoes to fill...don't let us down.

      Is wondering...With Tramaine Edmunds length, strength, and athletism could he play on the defensive line as an edge or DT?
      Noah Sewell is a better linebacker than Edmunds and he has to play more next season.

    Taking Romo was not just looking at the present team but to the future also. Keenen has one year on his deal, and DJ has 3-4? left. Jones and Scott haven't shown anything to believe either one could be more than depth. I also believe the Oline is better than they've played. In the last two years i think they've only played their starting lineup for less than half of each season. I do know last year it wasn't until the 12th week that they played together.

  • @flattailbob
    @flattailbob Месяц назад +1

    Tremaine gets the job done but having grown up watching Butkus, Nitchke, Singletary, Lambert, I just don’t see the violence in his tackling. He’s more of a finesse tackler. I just don’t see where the opponents would fear his presences.

    • @michaelwilliams5807
      @michaelwilliams5807 Месяц назад +1

      Don't you realize the NFL has been getting less violent?? Do you know how many concussions were happening back then? Nothing wrong at all with being a good finesse tackler.. I still like to see football played with hard tough tacking, just make sure you tackling right.

    I think bears fans are too excited over these picks. And this small draft. Poles got some potential key cogs but I don’t see how Waldron is going to use them, and Eberflus defence is not good without a strong edge rusher opposite sweat. Poles has to get someone before the season. Can’t be yannick. Maybe it’s booker ? But Green Bay tore apart Dallas, and lions went a lot further than the bears. I don’t think anyone is fearing Caleb. Pick offs and fumbles and no 3 years of nfl experience like fields had. Fields keep defences honest. Maybe Caleb’s accuracy and anticipation will be better, but I haven’t seen in on the tape. Does he really read defences better than jf1 ? Getsy was just a shitty OC. Waldron He has more assistants than getsy has. But Seattle tape and 3 damn good receivers did not impress me. How will he use all the weapons and make it easy for Caleb, but hard for defences ? I only see lot of short plays, perfect execution by Caleb, and running the ball a lot more than those receivers will want. Then it’s Caleb throwing bombs ( interceptions with teams sitting back on those players tempting him). Waldron does a lot pre snap motion. Will Caleb and the offense handle that. It all looks like it has potential for a big cluster Fock.

    • @Born_Into_This
      @Born_Into_This Месяц назад

      Bears got lucky that Waldron was even available when Seahawks let go of their HC. Waldron resurrected Gino Smith's career, who wouldve been out of the league. CW is touted like Gino never was for a reason. It will be interesting to watch w/top notch additions at WR & TE along with RB & Center w/O Line depth pieces.

    For the good of your channel, after all its a business you moved on from JF1. I can't. I can't move on from stupidity. Sorry! Poles said after he traded JF1 he did not take any more calls on #1. I believe that. Offers for #1 have surfaced...Poles told the truth when he said no one blew him away 49ers style. 3, 1's, 2's, and 3's.
    No one came close to that. Yet NE offered 3, 34, 103
    25- 1, 3, & 4
    26- 2, 3, & 5
    Not that many premium, but good enough.
    Other than the trade to NE, every other trade is mild. Only 1 2nd rounder received.
    Bears move from 3 to 13 and to 19 and finally to 26.
    They trade their 2nd & 3rd next year plus 34 to JAX when they shopped 17 & Bears gave more.
    9- Rome
    17- Dallas T
    26- JPJ
    44- T. Nubin
    75- K Amegelij
    81- C Haynes
    89- Jarian Jones
    92- T Franklin
    96- B Dorlus
    99- JT Sanders
    103- J Cowing
    112- I Gurrendo
    122- T Taylor
    148- B Rice
    Any good CEO, must look at worst case scenario. If JF1 & Caleb get hurt....which team is better? Obviously this team. I did no crazy trades and Bears lost on points in each one. They end up with an extra 1, 2, 4, & 5 over 2 seasons.
    This team rivals the 49ers for overall talent and JF1 could easily do what GENO did.
    I am still sickened by what Poles did. JF1 had the fans in the stands, won in all inclement kinds of weather and is a great leader with character.
    I have zero problems with Caleb the human. Seems like a good kid. Just I don't see the talent. Definitely not the speed or strength. Pac 10 was so weak on Def, that's why their qbs went 1, 8, 12.
    Kid takes too long to throw and won't play on time or take a check down. Sounds like JF1. It came down to money and an extra few years of job security for Poles & Flus. What I hate is they are getting congratulated for following the narrative and now Caleb's face is everywhere. What a great job....lol.
    I joined this channel and patreon because it's facts over narrative. Poles should be ripped on this channel & Mason....he followed the narrative and you both had all the progressing stats on JF1. Like I said I can't move on when there is stupidity and Poles was stupid. He let luck change his entire plan for the team instead of taking that luck and capitalizing on it (getting #1)!

    Nabers: the REASON things like the "gun thing" linger for guys sometimes is because there IS a valid worry. Maybe the guy's reaction to the situation didn't show enough maturity or that there is an element of truth that no one wants to talk about. You don't think there's a community effort to downplay or cover of elite athletes at major programs?
