I’ll post a reply to myself when I’m done watching but I assume going in this is along the lines of using 7v7 as a way to install throughout the summer, which I 100% agree with. Now, time to actually watch and add to this in reply when it’s done.
As I’m going through Installs including all checks that might be more relevant in some games than others once you have the base reasonably down, harping on techniques, getting the less experienced kids acclimated and examples everything else you have to do off of that. And I’d say you did a good job of going over all of how that looks (the staff at my school when I played took basically this approach and I’d like to think they showed me a good example) Edit: I should’ve waited until the end because that part of the nuances of explaining the difference to kids between the fully competitive 7v7 scene versus competing but in a way that’s geared toward making the 11v11 better, that may be the most important part of all of this
Great breakdown! always on point,Big mac!
Thank You
Great stuff, coach. I have the same philosophy on 7v7.

Our young kids definitely get more reps this time of year
I do the same thing Coach with my Middle School players.!!!!
Wish more coaches would do it this way in Middle School.
@@CoachMac In my area they are "focused" on winning the tournament or whatever, I took a lot of heat for not trying to win it.
