I have a Mazda3 BN TOTL model. With the Yojin 3 yr free pms, cost of ownership and maintenance was very low for me. I even stockpiled the free cabin and engine air filter for future pms use (I only replace these every 20,000km). The only thing that is so expensive to maintain with the Mazda3 are those models with the iStop (start/stop) system. The enhanced flooded battery required for this system is ridiculously expensive if you buy it from the Mazda dealership (Yuasa brand around ₱15k). I bought the Varta Silver Dynamic EFB Q85 which is around ₱10k. A damaged e-loop capacitor will cost a lot more, around ₱100k unless you can get some cheaper sources. My BN model is 5 years already and no major issues or any recall so far. Overall it's a very satisfying experience like with sir Levi. The Mazda3 is all about driving pleasure!
Yung i-stop ng cx5 never ko ginamit kasi makatipid ka nga sa gas madali naman masira battery. Kaya gamit ko ordinary battery lang. 10yrs na cx5 ko pero pangatlong beses palang ako nag palit ng battery.

The 2024 model (Non hybrid) now with the signature adaptive headlight of Mazda 3 which I think is the main upgrade from older M3. Upgrades are as follows (Non-hybrid): 10.25 inch infotainment display Blindspot monitoring (Now standard to both variant) Wireless Apple CarPlay 2 USB-C charging port Gloss black mags (Previously silver) Still with the 12 speaker Bose sound system and pricing didn't change that much from previous years despite the addition of the above upgrades. I don't know if the 2 rear taillights which is now illuminated is an upgrade as compared to your 2020 model with only 1 working? Comparing it to its closest rival Civic (Non RS) with a price tag of Php 1.58m, M3 is definitely a better deal IF you don't need the 2nd row space :D Recently got our 2024 Mazda 3 (Non Hybrid) Soul Red Crystal, and I must say it is still a looker!
Wow the 2024 model STILL only has Apple carplay? Not hating on Mazda or anything as I also want to buy the Mazda 3 fastback. But why are they so adamant on not adding android auto? Sure there's bluetooth but it only offers the basics, rather than what carplay and android auto can offer. If we're in America, Canada, or any other country where the majority of users are IOS users that might make sense. But we're in the Philippines where majority of people are android users by a staggering 86.89%, While IOS users only eat up 12.63% as of December 2023. I just don't get it, I really want to get Mazda 3 but among other factors the ONLY apple carplay option really gives me the itch. Maybe because the Mazda 3's that is sold in the Philippines are made in Japan? Is that why? But no. The percentage of android to IOS user there is 53.4%(android) and 46.6%(IOS) as of June 2023, the majority of users are still android! Are the majority of Mazda buyers Apple users? I give up. I'm gonna wait till they add android auto or probably just mod it in. If I can't wait. Kung mga suspension parts marami naman aftermarket na mabibili na difgerent brands than the oriiginal. yung stabilizer link basta pareho ang sukat ok na yun

Sir ano po brand ng brake pad pinalit nio po? Mukhang sakit nga talaga ng mazda yang brake na lagitngit. Kasi cx5 ko ganun din. Hopefully pag nag palit na ako brakepad mawala na. Nag stock up pa nga minsan brake ko dati pag ilang araw naka handbrake sa parking may bigla lang lalagatok na malakas. Katagalan na tuklasan ko nag pag carwash ko sia at parking sia tapos diko ginamit ng ilang araw nag stock up sia pero sa montero wala naman ganun. Kaya ginagawa ko pag tapos ko sia i carwash iniikot ikot ko muna sa village nmin at brake para matuyo bago ko sia park ayun dina nag stock up.

yes.. the current generation has iactiv sense.. that is mazda's version on honda sensing.. 2019/2020 models of mazda 3 already have this feature eh, long before the honda civic offered it.. The premium variant has it noon 2019, but the premium variants was discontinued.. i think the only one who has the complete iactiv sense is the M hybrid variant
You cannot compare because its a different platform. A sedan or hatchback is always better in ride than the Montero. Its a 9 for Mazda and 7 for Montero

I can share my experience with my Mazda3 2018 BN model that has a 2.0 Li Skyactiv engine (this was the model before sir Levi's model came out last 2018/19) City driving with heavy traffic ave 8km/Li Pandemic period city driving 10-11km/Li (with sporty driving) Expressway driving can range from 13 to 15km/Li
i can share din about fuel consumption. for me mas tipid si m3 hybrid ko compared sa tucson. though mas mabigat yata si tucson, dun ko kasi sya naicocompare. kaya most long drive, sa m3 ako, mas masarapi-drive.

The only downside of this car, it has a small infotainment screen and the price is to much for that type of car.

ung infotainment pinalaki na daw. ung price niya medjo reasonable naman nagdeclare na sila na premium brand and talagang premium feels sa loob. Ung pinaka downside sa akin masikip sa likod.
