Im glad that the film may cheer up kids and give parents a chance to see their pride and joy enjoy a simple journey. The missing bells and whistles of older films (era defining actors and casts full of originals) are perhaps a sign that film making has changed hugely. In 2021 experienced and business savvy actors have gained far more say in production and budget so story telling is an afterthought in big studio script production because ego, money and time take precedence.

I love the chemistry between Dwayne and Emily and their characters. You can see in the trailer their relationship when he trying to save her by swinging her across from one ledge to the other and failing miserable, she then replies stop trying to save me that was a disaster lol.

A Jungle Cruise and Pirates crossover would be pretty cool, imo. Imagine if Captain Jack Sparrow somehow found a way to live forever but something went wrong and he's stonified and hundreds of years later is discovered by Emily's character in a Jungle Cruise sequel movie. The Rock's character accidentally wakes Jack. Which can be explained as an ex machina residue of the flower still inside Frank, or by giving Frank a special ability which was a side effect of the flower. Or something else entirely In one go Disney would bring back Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow and fix that mistake Plot-wise would be similar to the 1st jungle cruise movie, but at the same time it's completely original, so perfect as a sequel story. The same, but new. It also opens up opportunities for The Rock's character, and those contistadors, to show up in a Pirates movie given the fact that they're 400+ years old. Thus there's possibilities for creating two crossover movies + Johnny Depp and The Rock in one movie. Skipper "Dad jokes" Frank and Captain Jack Sparrow together, just imagine how entertaining that would be Who wouldn't want that?
yet the Jungle Cruise may be the strongest franchise to complain about our current reality across countries and industries... Romancing the Stone was with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner - he hacks off the stiletto heels on her shoes with a machete so she can walk in the jungle, among other things that shock her at first. The movie clip shown was from the Indiana Jones series with Harrison Ford. Although, they were both pretty cool films - if Hollywood makes a an updated version of either, DJ and Emily would be perfect as the lead characters.
The bonding between The rock and Emily, seems to be similar to the bonding of The rock and Kevin hart. The rock seems to be a nice man that has alot of integrity Bonding processes are important and beneficial for both parties. God is the author of bonding, God drives Himself each day to forgive sins and yearns to bond with people. When we accept it only gets better as each day comes.
