Flickspoo A boom mic is a mic on a stick that is used mostly in movies and tv shows for the actors voices as they can't use mic packs as you'd see them.
Flickspoo You literally asked what a boom mic does. Your replies don't make any sense. If you're asking the difference between using a boom and a pack mic, the boom is generally used to pick up all sound, usually from multiple people, at the same time on the same track. Mic packs are easier and better capturing voices from an individual. If you look at each of them they all have fluffy black things on them. That's the mics with wind guards on them. Boom mics also use these but they don't have the bodies of the people to create further protection and they also generally are much further away from the people.
... Because it was crazy windy? And no. But as boom mics pick up area sound not just voice sound it generally picks up wind more.
They were prepared and prudent enough to grab some windscreens (that furry thing in the mics).
The rocks arm literally looks like the same length of Kevin's body.

Hey Fiona Smith, Spies in Disguise came out in 2019. Karen Gillan was in it. Now all the Jumanji actors have their own animated movies under their individual belts, so to speak. Behind the scenes story from when they were at kualoa ranch at the ranch there’s tours and a class was doing a tour on a bus and they stopped like near the area they were filming and wanted to see dawyne Jack Kevin and Karan but they were told to leave by the directors and producers and then the kids started singing your welcome from Moana and then dawyne just ran in and joined in with them such a wholesome moment for dwayne just to join the kids on singing with them (I was told this story by the worked who took the kids on tour when I went to kualoa ranch)🥺

Karen Gillian was born in 1987. Jack Black in 1969. Kevin Hart 1979. Dwayne Johnson 1972. So not only was Karen too young to remember the original film, Kevin was pretty young to remember it as well. Nice to see a cast that truly enjoyed themselves as although Dwayne and Karen are not comedians, they do have a great sense of humor shown here.

This movie is SO funny! The whole theatre laughed out loud several times, absolutely hilarious.
If the actors have a connection with each other i.e. a "comfort" that flows between themselves....this is a critical aspect of a movie being successful. I'd watch these four together in any movie.
Putting all this four together to play the cast of actors is a genius.
