Great video, I Dj and use a audio capture device running from my Dj controller to OBS. Made over 50 videos of recording until this past weekend my hour long recording sounded like popping, skipping and echo. Never changed a thing but kept getting that issue. Going to try your settings to see if that would help. Thanks
Awesome! Check your bitrate on your input devices like your mic/input jack and then check your audio recording settings and make sure they match. If one is 48khz then the other should be 48k or 44 whatever you have it set to
Standard obs record has been changed, the options you see there are in advanced or custom now, please remake this video, when i record mkv and i send it to vegas now my videos are slow.
Yeah this video is for sure old. You should remux your recordings after obs is done. There is a checkbox for auto remux somewhere in the settings for OBS that will remux to an MP4.
Yeah I’m always grinding away on something. I wish I had time to be more consistent on twitch but my job just got a lot more full time. I’m hoping when things calm down I’ll be able to jump back in.
That runs most people off. Also it gets in the way most of the time. Sometimes I do have an in picture but depends on the complexity of the video. Thanks for the comment!
I got this spec'd out Puget with 3 drives, ram, and Cuda enabled GPU and still cant' shake the latency issues I'm having to get record only profile to be as clear as yours. What am I missing. I keep dropping this and that and still there is a cut in the video when I move around and my speaking is not one to one with the video. Help!
if you right click on the audio meters for your mic and go to advanced, there is a section where you can delay your mic if you need to. you'll need to play around with the millisecond delays until you're happy with it.
@@ChowlbPlays Thanks! I'll try that! Did you record the video explanation separately or is that the result of the settings alone? Even if I sync the sound, I'm still seeing a split in the image when I move my arm. I checked my camera settings too. Since I'm not streaming, it can't be an internet speed issue- is it the HDMI card? I thought I had it one to one but as I added in all the scenes and sources, it is just agonizing. Thanks for your help. This video taught me a lot even though I'm still not able to get the settings right.
@@ChowlbPlays I don't know what happened but EUREKA!!!! I fired it up today and my video is not clipping and my sound is in sync with my video and I'm even streaming into zoom with no trouble. Gonna re-write Duran Duran The Reflex about The Remux!!!! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
These should be good for anything, this is just the recording settings for OBS, it doesn't affect your console companion output. Keep in mind if you're using 1080p recording, but your console companion is only putting out 720, you may need to downgrade your recording to 720 so it's not being stretched and pixelated.
Thanks a lot for the video! im new to OBS and this helped me a lot.
Heck yea!! So awesome to hear it!!

Nice vid. You should add a video of you talking in the corner. Would be nice to see your pretty face while we hear you. :P
