I agree with the music comment. Maybe, if you only played it when you’re not talking, it would be easier to bear. It’s like a child’s keyboard on a very short speeded up loop. I do enjoy watching the process of you thinking through the quilt and putting it together! Thank you for your effort.! 😃
I just put out a few videos where I have changed how I do the music. The "subscription box" video is the latest. Please let me know what you think of those. :)
You are so organized, I wish I could be like that. Those bins would be like I didn’t even have them. The way you just whipped that teal color out. Nice
Just found your channel, subscribed. Definitely change the music 😁. I have many of the Fabric Cafe books. Love how you’ve made the patterns your own. Thank you
I turned the sound off for most of the time, but it was a really enjoyable video! I love the way you organised everything with military precision and everything turned out so pretty ❤️
I made the same pattern in a Christmas theme. I haven't finished it yet, but I think I'm going to use some of your ideas! All of colors looks great together!
I like it as you did it. I love busy so I would've probably used the leftover half square triangled if time permitted. They could also be used to add interest on the back or matching pillow cases. Nicely done!
I modified the design and did an extra row of stitches on the snowball corners so I could save the extra 1/2 square triangles and used them on the borders.
I did that too. I have a ton of extra HST that will go into another project or two. I thought about using them on the border of the quilt, but was ready to be done with the quilt(s). lol
Just came across your site. I like the cutting in bulk process and saving the corner HSTs. I would have tried for a bit more contrast on the corners. It was too blended for me, but otherwise good pattern.
Great video. I use my extra hst and made windmills for a border on my quilt. Lower volume of music please. seems like a few people dont like the music either. Sorry
If you are ironing all the small squares first, anyway, you could easy mark them too on one side, before sewing on. You just need to find the marked bit and line it up right, easily done, without huge double handling. I think the dark blue flowers with dark blue corners may not really be enough contrast though. You could put the hsts together and border them for the back?
I forgot to tell you, using a border to add length or width to your quilt, you can use your extra half square triangles for a flying geese on the border. If you don't have enough HSTs to do this, you can cut a 3 inch border adding the flying geese here and there.
Lots of criticism about the music - why don’t you all just turn it off? If you check the transcript you know how often Lynne speaks, so you won’t miss out on anything by turning off the sound in between.
I would have liked to watch the entire video but the background noise that passes for music was just too overpowering and irritating. Guess I could have muted the sound but then could not have heard her voice. Sorry.
@quilt4evermore, I think you are being a bit harsh, bordering on downright rude. No matter whether what you are saying may or may not be valid , You might think about making positive suggestions. It’s not like you are paying to watch…I am finding it fascinating to watch someone make 4 quilts at once. I am sure there will be several things that I can apply to my own sewing room.
I would definitely press and starch the fabric prior to cutting. Makes a big difference
that's a great idea
Oh my do you have a lot of fabric!!! Love your storage for your stuff. You are very brave doing 4 quilts at once. Hats off to you. Great job🎉
Thank you so much!
love your choices of fabric
Thank you. They were fun to work with.

@@SoftSquares thanks! I’ll check it out
This was so fun to watch. You are very brave to tackle all this at once. Good work
Thanks for watching
Love them all! Thanks for taking time to explain the triangles and everything.
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching.
You are so organized, I wish I could be like that. Those bins would be like I didn’t even have them. The way you just whipped that teal color out. Nice
Thank you so much!!
What a fun quilt
Thanks! I love it! That's why I made more than 1.
I made this pattern with Patriots fabric as I thought the blocks looked like football… made a queen size for my grandson!
I think this pattern is perfect for that. I'm sure it turned out great!
Just found your channel, subscribed. Definitely change the music 😁. I have many of the Fabric Cafe books. Love how you’ve made the patterns your own. Thank you
Thank you! Will do! Thank you for subbing and commenting. Newer videos are better. ;-)

I love the fun happy fabric! The quilt looks amazing I can’t wait to see the others!
Thank you so much!
Love these!
Thank you
I sew extra pieces together and put them on back when I have to piece back
that's a great idea. i need to do that!
beautiful quilt , nice pattern well done!😍
Thank you! 😊
Adorable quilts! I wish I could do quilt math as easily as you 🤣
You can do it!
Luv your finished quilt
thank you for watching
Beautiful job!!
Thank you! 😊
Very nice.
Thank you
Oh my where did you get all the hummingbird material. Love your tutorials. Thank you¡¡¡¡
thank you. they are all from Free Spirit

Love your channel. Unfortunately, the music made me tune out. The quilt design and the fabric went together so well. Great job teaching also.
Sorry to hear about the music. I have made changes to my newer videos. Please keep watching.
Looks real good
Thank you for the comment and for watching.
I love the fabric choices you made!! Maybe its by Valori Wells!! Love your nail polish as well!!
Great job!!🧵
Oh thank you!
I like the borders.
thank you. I'm happy with them too.
If I send you my address would you please come organize me? Seriously, YOU are amazing! What a beautiful endeavor!!
Thank you. I appreciate the compliment.
Very cute!
Thank you! 😊

Awesome, thank you!

Thanks for the tip!
Pretty!!!!
thank you. 3 of the 4 are finished. See my videos 1 & 3 for 2022 completed quilts to see how they turned out.

Great ideas. I agree that the blue quilt does not have a lot of contrast. It is now quilted with borders. It turned out ok, but It is dark.
Just found you on utube. Love it! I would suggest you cut out the music when your talking. Thanks for starting this project and good luck. 👍

i suggest a wider ruler.
great tip!
So how long did that take to make those 4 quilts all at the same time because that seemed very efficient use of time and materials?
Cutting them was pretty quick, but sewing them was slow like normal... I only have 3 of them pieced so far. The 4th one is in my UFO pile for now.
@Soft Squares Quilting with Lynne thank you for your honesty😄
I love the quilts but wish you would turn the music off.
Newer videos don't have the sound issue. Sorry.
The music is a bit annoying, especially when trying to hear your words. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
Sorry for that
Lots of criticism about the music - why don’t you all just turn it off? If you check the transcript you know how often Lynne speaks, so you won’t miss out on anything by turning off the sound in between.
thank you for your assistance :-)
I enjoy watching your videos, but the music is unbearable.
Thank you for commenting. I'm sorry the music is not for you. It's hard to find something that everyone likes. Please keep watching.
Music in the introduction is fine. Don't talk over it.
Better to have no music. It is making me nervous.
It would be easier to hear you & less distracting if you did not have background music playing while you're talking.
I appreciate your comment. I no longer do that, so my newer videos are better.
I'm sorry about that. Newer videos don't have the music.
Fun video but the music is unbearable. ❤😁🌹
I'm sorry about that, but appreciate the feedback. The newer videos are better.
I would have liked to watch the entire video but the background noise that passes for music was just too overpowering and irritating. Guess I could have muted the sound but then could not have heard her voice. Sorry.
i'm sorry. newer videos don't have that.
I must agree about the music...annoying...could you just cut it out altogether?
thank you for your feedback and for watching
Agree the music is way too loud. I stopped watching.
Future videos don't have the music issue. I'm sorry, but appreciate your comment.
You lost me with all that math. I wish you had all that figured out before showing how to make the quilts.
I'm sorry. My videos are usually me working my way thru the project. I hope you could work with that I did.
This video is a hot mess. The music is irritating. You don’t seem to be very organized.
sorry. thank you for your comment.
