I have seen some LED’s that have very focused light. Some people will put the strips inside vinyl tubing to help defuse the light then use hose clamps to attach the tubing that houses the LEDs to the car
Order this kit with your sizes recommend below for the new Z. Along with hood struts. I've wanted to do under glow again since I was a kid, had it on my TT Stealth back in the day. Unfortunately it became a point of ridicule. I definitely see a trend in this ridicule being over, and if not, I'm old enough now to not care. Thanks for the video you done a great job.
wire loom can help protect the (extension) wires from abrasions caused by vibration or road debris. 1/8" diameter loom would be perfect. that way they is a protective barrier around the wire. anywhere the wire is touching metal, snakes around a corner, or slides btwn two pieces. also 3M 88 electrical tape is your best friend for extreme weather protection.
Does the kit require you to use the on/off toggle switch? I am looking at this kit but I really don’t want to drill holes in anything to mount an on/off switch and also don’t really want it just laying somewhere. Can the set be wired without it and purely controlled with the app?

@@lonnietran1925 The law differs from place to place so the best bet is to check with your local authority if it is illegal. For the most part, these are illegal on the road since they emit different colors other than amber, red, and white.
See I cant do the remote thing. Everything has a remote. Too many remotes. Use your tesla screen as a smart hub and buy bluetooth and app capable devices only.

A year later have you had any issues with the under glow lights? Are they still bright or have they got dimmer

Totally agree with the rocker molding removal. I broke a lot of clips but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!. Thanks man!
it's mostly plastic pop clips (crazy). expect to break a few so have spares prior to removal.

What size strips did you go with for the Z?
I received 90cm for Front (this was spot on) and Rear ( this was a lot for my rear), and 180cm (this was perfect) for the sides.
