  • DiABLO has a 6" Spinning blade. A feller buncher is a type of harvester used in logging. It is a motorized vehicle with an attachment that can rapidly gather and cut a tree before felling it. Feller is a traditional name for someone who cuts down trees, and bunching is the skidding and assembly of two or more trees. A feller buncher performs both of these harvesting functions and consists of a standard heavy equipment base with a tree-grabbing device furnished with a chain-saw, circular saw or a shear-a pinching device designed to cut small trees off at the base. The machine then places the cut tree on a stack suitable for a skidder, forwarder, or yarder for transport to further processing such as delimbing, bucking, loading, or chipping. A feller buncher is a self-propelled machine with a cutting head that is capable of holding more than one stem at a time. The cutting head is used strictly for cutting, holding, and placing the stems on the ground. Feller bunchers do not have processing capabilities. #majorwood

Wow this tool is impressive as fantastic !
You cut this tree slowly....and slept on the joysticks and... That's it ,it's cut in a second
    Wow !
A bigger grab should be good but this machine is the perfect feeder for the conveyor cutter.
    Definitely a success👍

I’ve been hoping you would get into the logging rc world. Sure could make for a cool show. Not sure what you have to build things with but I bet you could build a more scale head like a quadco housing the motor inside the structure for the saw and hydraulic rams for the clamp arms the design of that head is very basic and it looks like you have auxiliary ports on the boom. Might even be lighter. Not saying anything negative to what you built at all I just grew up in a big logging community my whole life I work on and repair logging equipment as a fabricator so I can’t help myself when it comes to scale of these things. Makes me want a feller bunch rc so bad seeing this. there’s so many cool pieces of equipment in the logging industry can’t wait to see what you do.

@@TheRealRCSparks I know, I've watched every single one of your videos for years. My point is that a retractable chainsaw would work better with this setup than with a circular blade that gets in the way before you can clamp what you're cutting.

    • @Adrian.Werner
