- With every swing of the Big Johnson's over total weight of 80+ pounds of boom and bucket power, you'll witness the extraordinary "craftsmanship" of my custom-built creation. Heh, literally.. the boom is an old Aluminum 6' level, and the bucket a Truck Ball Hitch Receiver! This dragline, fully waterproof and a testament to the remarkable ingenuity of hobby mining, and "use what ya got" mentality. It also provides an exceptional method for uncovering placer gold treasures. Prepare to be transported to the jungles of Nova Scotia, Canada, where the echoes of ancient glacial movements still resonate, setting the stage for an unforgettable mining adventure.
But let me be clear, this show is a work of fiction, a figment of my imagination brought to life on screen. However, the gold you see is very real, and the mining equipment is fully functional. Get ready for a mind-blowing experience as I take you on a journey through various perspectives - onboard the excavator, riding alongside it, peering into the mesmerizing sluice box, and offering exhilarating glimpses of my 7000-pound remote-controlled Caterpillar 242D skid steer wheel loader in action.

Brother you live my fantasy! I've dreamed of these adventures since I was a child. Why couldn't we scale down heavy equipment semi trucks and 4×4 pickups to look and operate like the real thing? Just only at 1/14 scale? But I've always been told it can't be done. You Sir have brought it to our attention that if there's a will there's a way. Even down to 1/87 scale. What an awesome world you live in! And the hugest thanks for caring enough about humanity to invite the rest of us along with you! You're the best and I mean that, the absolute best.

Definitely give yoga a try. I've had terrible shoulders, and my back was hunched over from playing video games. I'm now 3 years into doing yoga at home and and I'm straight as an arrow, and the mobility in my shoulders is 100%. There are quite a few good yoga youtubers that you can follow.

if you keep some tension on the lift rope you will keep the bucket at a better angle for attack for digging running a drag is a bit of an art keeping everything at the right amount of tension

Should setup a suction pump so clean out all the rifts in the creek like a vaccum pump on the front of an escavator arm run the feed directly to the ripples just use a wet pump station an connect the hose through the front to the bucket
You should build an rc garage with a indoor control room that you can sit in and over look the mine. Something thats heated and has power to the garage to charge the batteries
I noticed that you let the bucket down flat at the bottom of the creek. You might wana try to keep the back elevated just a bit so the teeth will dig a bit harder.
The drag line may be ugly but it does make awesome and unique footage for your videos and I am entertained 100%

An excavator is great on its own, but there is something elegant about a dragline. Way more interesting to watch work. Keep killing it man! 🔥🔥

I messed up my back when I was a pipe layer, bouncing around in the truck doesn't help it. There's mornings I feel like not going in, but got bills to pay so push through it. Sending prayers brother.

Tony didnt build it.. he refurbished it.. and to be straight up.. Ive investigated it a lot. It is not a simple task, nor is it small in size. It is possible.. but Im not in a hurry

You sure have come along ways since I first started watching, just before the overkill Optimus build. You had built the frame with the 6 tracks
I enjoy watching unique rc inventions come to life and work just like their larger counterparts. But this stuff, what you're doing, it is freaking incredible. I have never gained so much entertainment and pleasure from watching rc vidoes . The perfect set upon which to watch these incredible machines is awe inspiring. I don't know what it is or how you bring in such feelings of joy watching you but please keep it up. Incredible Job!!!
