I just came across your channel. I love both of those vinyl brands too! I agree with you about the plastic look with Siser.
Yesss big facts
So helpful, I was looking for a comparison between the 2! Yours was great, I am going to try thermoflex the next time I need HTV!!
Siser Easy Weed Stretch is matte. It’s super soft and once pressed, it feels like it’s made into the garment.
I have always used Siser. Then I heard about thermoflex. So of course I thought get on youtube and look for vs videos. Awesome video! So excited to order and try the thermoflex. But girl get some weeding tools. That drove me crazy! LOL But I do love the nails! And I love that you mentioned the durability of the thermoflex. My biggest question was will it out live the life of the shirt.
Chad Kaltenbach lol yes I love thermoflex. I have tons of weeding tools my nails are just more convenient lol.
@@SheISApril
Have my Thermo Flex matte white now hope you have settings on this video. I keep making the mistake of using easyweed settings and need to save Thermo Flex in my setting my vinyl keeps having very small dots in the vinyl need the right settings for matte White.
@@SheISApril
P.S
Where'd you get Thermo at a cheaper price?
@@SheISApril not gonna lie I was a bit jealous you had attached weeding tools ha
that thermaflex looking clean. might have to do that instead. the importance of exploring options before buying
Just what I needed to know...right on time!!! I have a customer order for placing their logo on polo's, I had previously cut Siser but wasn't satisfied with the look, my ThermoFlex was delivered today, the difference is just what I needed to see. Great Video!!
Yvette Curcio glad you made the switch
That actually help a lot. I gotta try thermo flex
UGOTLEXX 216 it’s the best
@@SheISApril does all the thermo flex come in matte
UGOTLEXX 216 the metallic thermoflex no but the majority yes
@@ugotlexx216
It's seems to be ok its just thicker then easyweed and I thought I thought my depth was fine but it wasn't.
Settings I found to be decent for me with cameo 3 is.
depth 8
Force 6
Speed 3
I'll tweek it later but for now that'll work.
Now I'm checking Brick settings and for those that haven't tried Brick yet this stuff is really thick I'm wondering if I should get a ratchet blade for this but I'll let u know.
Working on my first design with this cameo.
gonna buy right now to try. Thanks!
Happy Friday! Great video. Thank you for sharing. Have a great and blessed weekend.
You as well! Thank you for stopping by
Thanks sis! Huge difference. Therms flex is getting ordered tonight.
RL4Real you are welcome let me know how you like it
@@SheISApril
How is the Brick vs Sisser Brick?
@@SheISApril
Is that the Matt color
@@SheISApril
I just got my ThermoFlex White matte and it's not giving me good cuts with my cameo 3 been at it 2 days now. On the small cuts it's leaving dots in certain spots when it's cutting up small letters when I'm taping.
@@tinman6182 try making the blade setting a littler deeper it’s kind of thick
what setting do you use on your Cricut for sister? I can't seem to find the right cut for it to peel easily
siser
Kierra Noelle I use iron on vinyl
She_IS_April for cricut what setting for thermoflex please?
Brandy Peay light card stock
Thank you for your time..❤️ I’m trying the themoflex.
mrcarlo1966 let me know what you think
She_IS_April Hi April just ordered about $75 worth or the stuff and should get it by tomorrow .I am a hobbyist and mostly make stuff for family and friends. I have been using the easy weed for a while now and I think the major drawback is the shiny surface of the material. I will keep you updated when I start messing with it this weekend. Thanks again
mrcarlo1966 ok cool I can’t wait to hear about it! Yes the shiny is a no for me
She_IS_April
Hi April, tried it out and love it. To me the finish is much better and more professional looking than easy weed.
Thanks!
mrcarlo1966 yup that’s what got me hooked
Thank you so much for your video it changed my mind!
You are welcome
Looks like I'll be trying out Thermoflex. Really helpful vid, thank you.
Yes I love it!!
I can see the difference real quick! TFP takes the dub!
Going to be using vinyl for my clothing brand.
Thermoflex looks more appealing.
Thank you for this video!!!
Rin Two Timess you are welcome thermoflex is the bomb
Thank you for the comparison. I use Siser easyweed myself but I don't like the plastic look of it either. I have been thinking about trying out the Thermoflex. Can the thermoflex be layered?
Becky G yes it can be layered and you will love it
@@SheISApril Thank you
when you wear the shirt. can you tell a difference between the thermoflex VS the easy weed? and which would you prefer to wear.
Yes you can and I prefer thermoflex
Nice tip.what are your setting on the cricut
Where do you purchase thermoflex? I can’t find it anywhere.
Is that matte finish the same with other colors on the thermoflex ???
Dam ima have to grab some thermoflex. Hows the feel? Does it feel thicker on the garment?
Does all Thermo Flex have that same color quality in all of their colors. I'm in the process starting to stock up on some vinyl. I do love the thermo flex black I'm just wondering all of the colors have that quality.
I gotta get some Thermoflex. Thank u pretty lady!
You are welcome
Girl yes!
Thanks for the video! Does ThermoFlex have that papery back feeling?
Not at all
@@SheISApril thanks, in your video you mentioned your local vinyl shop has a house brand, mines does too but they're all out and of course they won't give up the source! I'm trying to find something similar which is thicker than Siser, and also has no sticky backing at all, and had a really soft lay to it.
@@SheISApril Just ordered a 10 yard roll, let's see!
Thank you for this.
Hello have you tried the siser matte htv yet?
Yes I did another video on the comparison I think it says thermoflex has a strong contender
She_IS_April thank you I’ll check out the other video🙂
Brandy Peay anytime
She_IS_April thank you just watched good idea to use siser stretch for the matte look didn’t think of that.🤗 a few months ago they actually have an actual siser matte (not stretch) that just launched too. Thanks again
Brandy Peay ohhh matte I have to check it out, only thing with the stretch it’s not a lot of colors
Where do you purchase your thermo flex vinyl from?
Heat Transfer Warehouse
It does look better
Sorry one more question 😂 I’m bout to order thermoflex plus! Can this be used on spandex or do I have to order the thermoflex stretch? Thank you.
Brandy Peay I use both
She_IS_April ok thank you. You sold me!
Brandy Peay ✅
Have you ever used the thermoflex with home iron for a small design?
Yes and it worked out perfectly
@@SheISApril Thank you! I was afraid I wouldn't be able to use the Thermoflex Plus I just ordered because I didn't have a heat press. Do you have any recommendation as far as using it with a home iron??
@@reinarobles6008 definitely do a test area, with irons it’s hard to gauge the heat and the pressure, def apply pressure
Would you use Thermoflex Plus on beanies? Would It cause the letters to stretch when the material would be stretched? Good video, about to sub!
I have used on a beanie, and I didn’t care for it but my customers loved it and it worked
@@SheISApril could I ask why you didn't care for it? It I'm not satisfied for some reason I don't feel good about it even if the client does lol
@@malodesigns1103 I don’t think it was so much thermoflex, it could have been any vinyl I prefer them to be embroidered.
@@SheISApril I see. Maybe I need to just pull the trigger and buy an embroidery machine. Thank you for your time! Subbed!
@@malodesigns1103 you are welcome and thank you
Thank you sooo much for this video! I kept hearing about thermaflex but this video really showed the difference. What warehouse do you order from?
You are welcome, heat Transfer Warehouse
Thank you for such a thorough video. I hit that button...subscribed. Is it called the Thermoflex Plus?
Sandi K thank you, yes thermoflex plus, I’m glad I can help
Much needed video.. Thanks
Hi! Have you ever used the thermoflex with your Cricut? I have a Cricut and love thermoflex I just haven’t found the right settings to use with it. Some of my letters aren’t cutting all the way through. I’ve tried iron on, iron +, and glitter settings. The glitter works but not with small and thin fonts. Do you have any suggestions?
Denotia Simon Hi yes I use it with my Cricut everyday I cut it on light cardstock every time... I hope this helps
She_IS_April thank you! I’ll give this a try.
Denotia Simon let me know how it goes
She_IS_April It worked great! Thank you so much!
Denotia Simon you are welcome! I have a Cricut Group on FB! If you are interested bit.ly/ccgroupfb

Promostk Eatin' GOOD in the Neighborhood! Hi! Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Years to you as well
Did someone say weed? 😂
4wallsExperiments 😂😂😂😂
This is the most idiotic comparison ever! lets compare a sports car to a pickup truck. Or a ballerina to a Sumo wrestler. Easyweed is a general purpose vinyl while Thermoflex is specifically designed for sports uniforms. Do a little research, maybe?
I’m glad you think so and thanks for your expertise, but a lot of my followers are new and don’t have a clue what you are talking about. The comparison was on a basic level, if you did not care to watch it you probably should have kept scrolling
