This is really sad, It is understandable to some degree especially when they used dlc but it would have also been great for marketing by having people buy an old game to use this mod bringing new life to that part of the community. BO6 looks really promising at least

The modders have not been very smart by announcing this mod months ago. They should have just dropped it and Activision couldn't have stopped it that easily since it would have spread on the internet. But still the modders are wrong for using assets that they don't own, they shouldn't have worked on this mod in the first place.
