I don't like them but hell I want more of this creativity from Nike. I still wish they included more stability on the middle of the heel of Vapormax though. Still feel unbalanced with the center being empty.

do these shoes squeak when walking?
These are easily the best Vapormax shoes ever. The foam on top of the air units evens out the cushioning and eliminates that “cleats” feeling. They also don’t squeak like the other ones. And these look great too. I’m an old school Air Max fan and these do the lineage right.
These don’t squeak? I wear my vapormax plus to work and we have linoleum floors and I sound like spongebob in his squeaky boots. Looking to order the black pair that came out today

As an “air max head” I absolutely love these. Just based on looks they capture all the best aspects of the air max line and blend them so perfectly. I’ll be keeping an eye on these for sure.
Also 5:00 bruh I remember the spizikes, those were the sneakers that made me fall in love with sneakers. They’re easily my number 1 grail I hope to own someday

As a postal worker The Vapormax line is the most popular sneaker worn in my facility and they saved my job my feet take a beating on floor in our building. The triple black on this particular model falls in uniform and I wouldn't mind seeing more premium materials used in later releases

Air Max life is the best in my opinion as it keeps evolving AIR...The box is dope, the book is dope, shoes are as well... This is why I appreciate more than just Jordan retro who only care about color because thats all Jordans are anymore
From the Air Max Solas: The Support text is on the rigid structures and Flex text is on the flexible parts of the shoe.

Just got the Collector’s Closet colorway in and I feel like it just takes the mashup of all the Air Max models to the next level. Having this colorway in hand definitely makes me a fan of this shoe.

Would this shoe help with arch support for those who suffer from planter fasciitis or collapsed arches in your feet?

Snatched it right away when I saw this colorway in hand. I have to say, I'm a fan of Vapormax simply because of the way I walk. I'm a fast paced walker and I love how it activates the air unit's springiness. These finally gave me a reason to get a refreshed Vapormax (sole) model as I haven't been a fan of all the other uppers so far. These are actually a little too busy for my liking but the color scheme and grey tones make it look appropriate, classy and worth its price tag. So glad I copped!

The colour way is ‘wolf gray’ (not sure if you already knew that or not) and in New Zealand in finding they’re around $500 wheras the others are around $200-$300 which is frustrating, as well as the other colour way I’m fond of (the orange-black evo se) only culture kings sells them but it’s out of stock in my size

I don't know if they had it any earlier, but I believe the Support Flex 'technology' was from the Air Max Solas which was one of their inspiration for this shoe circa 2005. That was a great casual running shoe.

I could get jiggy as you said in a different colorway. The box is 🔥🔥🔥and the book too! Outside of the 95’s my cousin hooked me up with I’ve never been an air Max guy but that seems to be changing.

The Vapormax Evo NRG is even crazier and does have hints to the Air max 1. On that colorway they made the 93 back tabs red and blue, the OG AM1 colors.
I’m an Air max head and these are beautiful. I agree with you on the book. I wish they did have features from the air max 1. Instead of starting with the Air Max 3 aka 90. But I understand it because they do have that Air Max 1 icons that came out which has parts of the 90, 93, 95 on it. That’s probably why they didn’t so it for this vapor Max. Also some air max heads don’t consider vapor maxes as part of Air Maxes. Some people even debate about it. Personally I believe vapor maxes are part of it.

I got to try on a pair of these yesterday, I loved them, the outsole is much better than the previous VaporMax models. Unfortunately, the colorway that I wanted was sold out! But, I was able find the colorway that I wanted online and ordered it, can't wait to get them!

I like the book and the detail of the box. Kinda reminds me of when they used to put tech specs and design specs inside the box. For the shoe, probably the best looking Vapormax in my opinion.
The whole release history and the “montage” shoe it’s a must cup for me! The reason why is because I haven’t and we’re never able to have all the Nike air maxes but this gives a current opportunity to carry to coach her in one shoe!! Great look and durability
The aesthetic is dope but I just can’t rock with air maxes. The air bubbles go bad after a while.
No they don't. I've been collecting Nike sneakers for years and I've honestly never had an air bubble go bad. Knock on wood.

Love the black and white colourway.
I'm very fond of designs with a dark/black midsole/air unit as it stays fresh looking for longer Vs their white counterparts.
Still remember buying Air Max Sc in '89 which came with diagrams of the air units inside the shoe. Made you feel like your shoes were a Nike NASA collaboration 😜
They should’ve used the pull lock system from the 2020 vapor max IMO

My pair are set for delivery today by 9PM from Hibbett Sports. Can't wait to unbox these puppies and strap em' on my feets. Going to set the booklet up on my table top with my Jordan tags and leatherettes. Nike, Jordan, NewBalance decals galore here in my household. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I like em but they're just too expensive for me
The have always been 99% hype. And the expectation when paying that amount is so high.
So I never messed with Vapormax before, but I grabbed the Collector's Closet version these. The booklet is a little different because it pulls from more limited Air Max models. So the 90 mudguards are Lunar, Camo, Warhawk, and Snakeskin. Other details from 95s, Wotherspoons, animal packs, Air max 1s, and quite a few other details, just too many to go into.
I got the evo Nrg ones, box and booklet was a big selling point for me, and the detail they have on them. 90 warhawk 97 silver bullet air max safari etc. Just like em for nostalgia even though I’m not a massive vapormax fan.
Well, I am a fan of the Air Max, and I have a couple of pairs of VaporMax's, these are interesting and I think that the packaging and the book are dope! But the price, I have seen two colorways of these in person and I just can't see parting with $200 for these. If they go on sale or make it to outlets, I'm down!
Like Foamposite, VaporMax rarely discounted. I love VaporMax but always near to $200 so only have two pair from the outlet. Even at the outlet the price was $125ish. I wish more people would dislike VaporMax so I can get a better deal.

Air max guy here. I have these in triple black and they're definitely not my favorite sneaker, but I still like them. Maybe a bit overpriced, but I like the creativity and they're pretty comfortable. Vapormax plus still beats these in my opinion

I'm with Mrs wing slap a 180/270 sole on them and they are fire. Vapormax sole is a hard pass every time.

The concept is great, and I believe they executed the upper of the sneakers really well.....with the chink in the armour being the vapormax midsole; It just does not gel with the retro theme upper. IMHO the thing with Vapormax midsoles is that it being such an out-there design, it only works well with sleek and simple uppers, which these EVO does not remotely have. It just feels like they are clashing with other something fierce.
These are by far the best looking of all the VaporMax shoes, and thank you for football.

Great colour way. Interesting how they blacked out a small section in the middle of the mid sole. At a glance that really gives off an AM 95 vibe... I like them except for the sole. Love em or hate em the thought process behind them is genius.
massive air max fan over the years. and yeah I bought a pair. but I got LE 2016 BWs and 2018 97/BWs as my goto.

I’m definitely an air max guy! I love learning about the lineage of the line. I definitely share the same sentiments as you Chris as you really like the history included with the shoe but not the model itself. I also agree with Mrs. Wing as we both don’t like vapor max bottoms 🤣
Not an Air Max "guy" but I have my favs in the line line the AM1, AM90 and the 2009 but I think the Evo is really next level in terms of sharp contrast and familiarity (I know that's a contradiction) but when I focus on one part of the shoe the rest of it sorta morphs around what I'm focusing on.
PS: I seriously love Mrs. Wings takes and opinions on sneakers lol
I do like the idea of this shoe to be honest. Not what I would personally wear, but I like the history of shoe. That mashup of models
The only air I like in my shoes is the one from Air Force 1, Air Max 1, J1 and zoom air from the SB’s (even though zoom air insoles on the SB models aren’t that great for jumping stuff)
i think this is one of the only times that that vapormax outsole comes off as underplayed visually and i think it works a lot better that way

Yeah, I've always hated the sound the VaporMax make. The ultraboost make a sound, but vapor max .... they will hear you coming. lol "That's what she said." This new model tho is super cool. I love the inclusion of the little book. Reminds me of buying like a star wars ship top and it came with a little catalog. I think these are a cool way to improve the Vapormax for this year. The Vapor Max Plus is also a cool take on the Vapor max
I like this shoe and i hope it fits like most my shoes and not my vapormax which i went a half size down in. The first colorway with all the other air max parts on it is my favorite.
I really like the upper on these. Seeing so many shoes worked into one shoe is awesome but I don’t care for the vapormax outsole/midsole. Wish it would’ve been like the old 2015/16 airmax midsole or even a 270/720 midsole

Love these , never been a fan of vapor max due to the low ankle look but these have that mid top look that are more appealing to me. Air Max Head lol
I love how nike went through the evolution of all the air max over the years but never included the prefix of where the name vapor came from. They took the football cleat and made it into a running/lifestyle shoe

Had to agree, I liked the packaging and the booklet more than the shoes themselves lol. I bought the EVO NRG pair with the zany colors and while I normally like crazy shoes like the Jordan What The lineups, there was just too much going on with the NRG I ended up returning them
