Can the SOHO studs be added without doing a complete build? Just looking for a cost saving option to combat head lift at 650+ whp on e85.
You could do this, but you would still need to do some machinework due to the varying block distortion with larger studs, which would require different piston to wall clearances and a fresh hone on the cylinder bores and main journals. At the absolute minimum, some Eagle rods & Wiseco pistons would be recommended since there is really no point to blueprinting an engine build correctly with OEM parts because you will eventually fold a rod or break a rod cap at that power level anyways.

Heyo, so I’m getting a 370 pretty soon and will pay whatever the difference is pretty soon too. If I were to send mine to you guys, how much would a similar tune run around?
What size turbo is that and do u have a parts list at all?
at the time of this video, it was a PTE6875. I am now using a PTE7675. The video goes over the rest of the parts list.
How reliable will be my 370z if I install a Turbo ?
It really depends on the maintenance, and how much boost you run on a stock block.

I bought my first 370z I’m stock now other than a borla cat back exhaust and z1 intakes what steps should I take now? I want to e85 swap it and get the gtr injectors but I’m new to the tuning world and don’t want to ruin my car any info will help, thanks.

Z1 or ISR headers on a VHR? Also w a Motordyne ported plenum and ported lower intake manifold how much gains could I expect over just having the big 4 (CAI, Headers + Test Pipes, CBE, w Injectors + Fuel Pump)? Also last question would I notice that big of a difference say 60-120 switching to 3.9 from 3.69 gears on a 5AT?
Motordyne will not make more peak power, it shifts power away from the higher RPMs typically. Z1 headers make great power as well, you will need 350Z DE test pipes for them to fit. I would keep the stock gears for best performance at high speeds.

No, I always turn it off. I can put a custom TC strategy in the tune but I haven’t done it yet.

Moncef, is it easier to build a high-hp VHR or VR30? Questioning if I wanna buy the new Z because I'm a little sus about how much power a VR can take
The VHR heads are infinitely better, and the extra displacement on the VHR helps. The tuning of the VHR ECU is also more flexible at this time, but that is subject to change.

Yes - I drive it everyday and upgraded the turbo as well. The car makes 720whp on low boost and 840whp on 23psi now.

it doesn't really need it. It is a budget build no fancy luxury parts. ;)
@@admintuning gotta represent your own parts though. I'm looking into getting that combo, from admintuning becuase the soho one kept leaking coolant from the cap and theybwanted me to do a non pressurized conversion. Didnt want to do that
@@cammando117 I have sold my combo tank for the last 5 years and haven't had any reported issues with coolant leaks on the cap or water neck.

@@cammando117 Yes, a lot of the clients that are using it have turbo setups and are making over 600whp with no issues.

@@admintuning is it possible to swap out the VVEL actuators and hydraulic cams and put in your own stand-alone ECU and than have it tuned. Would that take out any inconsistencies?
@@andrewkries6680 Yes, it can be done. This car has some weird issues with VVEL sensor position when the engine is first started cold but everytime thereafter it is fine, so I am really not trippin.

Great vid man I just subscribed to your channel. I recently got a 09 G37 Sedan RWD 7AT with 133k miles, bone stock. Its already a fun car for me since my previous cars have been honda civics and accords(🐢). However my questions to you is how much HP can the 7AT handle and still be reliable ? And is a turbo out of the question ?
We usually keep them around 430wtq to retain reliability. I have pushed them farther but the flexplate is usually the first thing to go.

@@fellini7026 the BP kit with a PTE6875 turbo is what I had in this video and it made 804whp@22psi. I went to a PTE7675 turbo afterwards and made 840whp@23psi with a soft tune. The BP Kit is your best option and it is available on www.admintuning.com.

This turbo kit does not fit on autos, but you can use a twin turbo kit for similar results.

Only 60-130 I’ve run in this car was on low boost (15psi) and it was 6.14 seconds with full interior. 🙂

@@LehanBreytenbach I made 700whp@15psi. A few 370Zs I have tuned have gone 5.80 60-130 with less power but weight and traction will fight you hard at that point.
