    So many unrecognised producers making the most beautiful compositions nowadays... Seriously, this sounds absolutely gorgeous. I hope you'll get more recognition, but I think if you keep doing what you're doing and enjoy your work, it'll most likely happen. So keep up the great work! :)

      Thank you for the kind words! Honestly I just really love music theory and writing music. I have never been focused on chasing algorithms or trying to make it big or anything. But I've decided this upcoming year I want to do more to promote my music and work on more projects.

      If you're interested, this is one of the pieces that was a huge inspiration during this ones writing process: ruclips.net/video/cW8Fg5BRjQM/видео.htmlsi=cRUHd8WXURmIUIfM

      The cool thing about art and music is that alot of the time these things HAVE been done before! I use alot of techniques found in the writing of Japanese composers such as Joe hiasaishi. I'll literally comb through their writing and figure out what makes it tick and incorporate some of those techniques into my own works!

      very late reply (my bad) I don't remember the exact VST I used but I remember is was apart of the Spitefire LABS collection which is an entirely free library. I would check it out. They have a lot of great sounds and a couple of good piano patches

    Damn bro nice music but the time and effort u put in doesn't match the amount of attention ur getting. You really should be recognized more for this great piece of music!

    Do you know Joe Hisaishi? This composition reminded me of his music.

    • @Mikehy.mp3
      @Mikehy.mp3  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! Hisaishi is a huge influence on my work and the B section of this piece was inspired by his work on the Ponyo soundtrack.
      I've done several deep dives into his music and watched tons of theory videos on his stuff as well as my own research and analysis :)

      Hello! I've been doing music since middleschool and went to college for a couple years to study music theory and composition, getting an Associates of Arts degree. Never did anything above that though and mostly do music as a passion project on the side of my current job

      @-mayari- at the moment no :(
      I would love to one day release sheet music for my piano works but sadly it takes a lot of time to note it out from the DAW on sibelius.
      I work full time so what time I do have free I like to focus on making new music instead. I want to go full time with music making so maybe one day once I'm able to achieve that, I can focus on releasing sheet for it

      Would love to release it some day! It just takes a lot of time that I feel I don't have rn between making music and working full time. Would love to turn youtube and my music into my full time job some day though

    • @Mikehy.mp3
      @Mikehy.mp3  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! Spitfire labs is a free VST that offers an expansive paid and free library of patches to use for a variety of instruments and sound effects.
      HIGHLY recommend for both experienced and new producers / composers.
      This specific patch is a free one called "the autographed grand"
