      Jim was in perfect execution going through the steps. And honestly without fiddling with sound and video production it would have taken less than 30 minutes to install everything.

    Is it just me or does the new display on your speaker panel look sunk on the right side 12:53

    Nice video, Jim. Really nice explained. But it's not clear how you gonna handle the cabling of the old speaker panel. Because both speakers and the coil are soldered. For me, I had to build my own cable, with plus and minus, which goes directly from the Pinsound board down to the subwoofer. That works perfectly. The game btw is awesome made. Nice graphics and light show.

    • @renopinball5447
      @renopinball5447  2 года назад +1

      Yes, good point. I did not have to make a new cable as I had long enough wiring. But yes, I had to remove the speaker panel connection and run the cable from the sound board directly to the cabinet speaker.

      @@renopinball5447 Is this just a matter of extending a wire or two? I am actually working on this now and it appears that you added a connector to the bottom speaker wire so that you could plug it into the connector that hangs off the orange connector that plugs into the pinsound board. Is that an accurate assessment? I guess until I get a connector I could wire it up and insulate it without?

      @Kenny9648 can you PM me? I am installing my kit now and I need to determine how to do what you are describing correctly because my game doesn't have an "end" on the cabinet speaker wire, and it looks like it is just one wire - if I were to run my own + / - wire, where do those go on the pinsound board and would I need a connector to make this work I guess?

    Thanks for the video presentation. I have a question. My kit came with a remote control and a small patch cable. What are these used for ? Also how do we adjust features? Thanks, Rob

      @jim5sixx Год назад +1

      I did not get a remote in my kit... I recommend getting ahold of planetary pinball customer service and see if they can help you. Sorry, seems the kit has changed since I got mine...

    • @gaspumprob

      @@jim5sixx Ok interesting the instructions are so vague. Planetary was my first choice to purchase the kit but they refused to put me in a waiting list because they told me they were overloaded. So I bought the kit from coin takers instead. They gladly added me to their list. I will try to contact them and ask . The gameplay is great but the original gameplay is way off now very strange. . I am tired of the original gameplay so I am not complaining. Thank you

    Hey Jim, did you have to put a connector on the "cabinet speaker wire" at 11:50 in the video? I think I see where I need to clip my cabinet speaker from the original speaker panel but I don't have a connector end to fashion on to plug them together.

    • @renopinball5447
      @renopinball5447  2 года назад

      The reason I am vague is that mine was not as it was from factory. Someone had hacked my speaker wiring up and I wasn't sure what it "should have" looked like... Sorry about that. Its a pretty simple connecton just two wires from cabinet speaker to the card. You could run brand new wires pretty easy or if yours is factory still it may be as easy as a plug. I think someone added a extenal sub to mine maybe? I hope that helps. I am sorry I wasnt more clear on that part. email me at jim@renopinbal.com if you have any questions.

    I did this and followed the video - unfortunately my playfield and backbox GIs are now out and the flipper buttons are dead. Any thoughts?

    Great Video! Question I thought my original Funhouse backglass was not a translite? Do you have to buy separately a new clear glass panel and new black framing to use the new art work or do you somehow apply it over the original? If so where do you get those pieces. Do you guys sell them? Thanks, Scott

    • @jim5sixx
      @jim5sixx Год назад +1

      The new backglass is a thick sheet of plexi that is printed directly on (think backglass) but not glass. You can transfer your lift rail and side and top rails from your glass/translight to it.
