Your pinball knowledge of the electronics is really fascinating me . You can feel your passion for what you do . It was pleasure watching you show off this game I enjoyed many many times playing
I've been playing pinball since 1979 and this Funhouse is my favorite pinball machine. Should of bought one years ago when it was under 5 Grand, now I'm sure it's 10 - 15 Grand.
Great vid Todd.. your guys do a tremendous job on those cabs... America had such creativity back in 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Wish I could just drive down the street and treat you guys by wash your mouths out with beer.. 🍺
Great video. I often found Rudy's wisecracks to be hilarious due to his awareness to the actions of the player, such as like when he says ''it's only pinball'' following the machine's tilting. As for the other game in the first 3 WPC series, it was Bally's Harley Davidson which came out at the same time as Bride of Pin*Bot in February of '91
My favorite PINBALL of all time, my dream machine, I don't own a single game. If I could have any pin ever it would be this 1. Todd when I get my morning coffee at 7-11 I buy a lottery ticket in hopes to win 10K to purchase YOUR FunHouse. I would prob spend more, because I would want it fully decked out. I want a pin so bad!! This is my dream machine, I don't give a crap if they made 10,000 of them, this machine is my dream pinball and if I had the $$$ this would be my first machine. Please keep yours nice, one day I will arrive with 10K. I'm in Parsippany, NJ, I don't think I'm to far away.
Damon0306 I figured if someone will pay me for my Funhouse, I would sell it...but I am in no rush to do so...it is already lithium battery and LED's...so it will never devalue or degrade! (Safely kept in my gameroom!!) for that lucky person one day!
Jayson Geddes we do not work on the pre 1977 machines....too many switches and relays....but I am sure there are plenty of self help videos for those older machines
the funhouse was my first game i ever owned i bought it in i believe 2001.. for in an around 1000 guilders..thats right guilders.. that means in and around 450 euro.no joke. and it was in excellent shape too.. i still scratch my head for selling it off..even though i made an good profit.. the funhouse is an really fun game. i know this game in and out. and Todd.. the green LED on the mirror should be at the QUICK Multiball all the way down.. not under extraball (which is on the top) that 1 is right positioned..
+james hughes Well, back in the 90's this would sell for $2000 to $2500 typically. There were alot of very rough ones over the years we would not deal with (would need playfield replacement, etc) that would still work, but be "beaters" and those were selling for $1500 and less.
Hey Todd, do you have an estimate on how much it cost to restore a machine at your place? I have a funhouse machine that is in desperate need of a restoration and i would like to know. Also do you have an estimate on the shipping from Missouri up to you, any information is great, thanks.
Yeah Todd! your´e right… they made 10.750 :D but… its a rare game(in Germany), i don't no why... but in the last 1-2 years the Funhouse isn´t seen as much as before 5 Years...
TNT Amusements Inc Yeah i mean it´s a great game, it´s funny, it´s easy… But the times were you could buy an Funhouse for 1000€ are over, now a Funhouse in(bad) shape starts at 1300-1400€ in Germany
I can't find any pinball in Massachusetts. The only ones I know are Ripleys believe it or not and South Park near me. And I think the pizza shop with South Park sold it so only one pinball machine near me now. I wonder if the bowling alley with Ripleys will sell it since it's a family owned bowling alley
In all honesty Todd the fans are not to bad. Would hate to see your boys overheat. Remember playing this one in an arcade until some one somehow managed to wreck the left flipper.
enigma776 Fans are off only as long as filming...and frequently, we come back and forth. The Funhouse video you see was filmed at three different times today, and put together tonight!
Midway-Man Dude, what confuses me is that (and yes i am aware that before midway discontinued they earned the rights to williams and atari) you use the williams logo as ur prof pic. but eh, thats my opinion.
Hi, I have played the demo version of funhouse on the Pinball Arcade emulator, and Rudy always refers to the player as "Biff" in that one. I noticed the said "Hey Spunky, you're up!" in your video. Were there different runs of the machines that used different names? Or is there a setting or something you can change?
Well, I played it some earlier today and it actually called my by a different name-- not Biff, not Spunky, but something else that slips my mind. So I guess it randomly picks a name every time you start a new game. Also, do you (or anyone else reading) know if there was a McDonald Land themed pinball game? I'm guessing no, because I can't find anything about it on the internet. Such a sham! It would have been a perfect IP for a pinball incarnation!
I have this pinball game at home we got it for 30 dollars beacuse it was just standing in a hotel and was not working and we fixed it and wow dude its so funny!
So Todd, When Betson West Orders, do they Order from you? (I live in CALI and I'd love to own a Todd refurbished one!) This game was a favorite one of mine!
Awesome and You'll ship it? sweet! I'd love to have one that's COMPLETELY NEW and Mine! :) (Todd do you have a Facebook,Add me,I'll Give you the heads up when I get the cash & a new home to put it in,right now I don't have the space ..I am working with a small room)!
The Funhouse (1981 Tobe Hooper horror film) is about a group of teens who decide to spend the night hiding in a funhouse when it closes for the night. They end up witnessing a murder by a creepy masked operator of the ride, steal the money the funhouse earned from it's deposit box and are stalked by a monster in the funhouse. The theme of this game is practically the same, I mean just why is Rudy freaking out so much about the player possibly going into the trapdoor? There's a trapdoor in the movie too that a girl falls through...
still nothing under his head....zzzzzz was just playing him on Steam. have him on the tablet but sometimes the old shift keys come in handy on PC. love the comments $5 a game (or 2 ) smh what? hell I'd spend more then $5 a sitting lol . Think Frank has a zipper on his mouth though. But thats alright he had a whale of a time. er Orca..
Lee Bartholomew My poor Frank! But soon, we will be doing our in depth tours of Jersey Jack and Silverball Museum! I am sure he will have something to say!!
Franks just fine. His temper is like mine ;P need cups.. should come out to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines or the better Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha (other than going to California I don't think you'll find a bigger escapism Zoo than Omaha's especially that Desert Dome. Might be snowing outside but find a locker cause that coat is not going to be needed in there. (sweating) now the spider exhibit. ewe. not fun. and they get lose so um depends on if Terry and Tammy can stand spiders :P Petting zoo when open , those goats will eat anything they want. (which was my jacket) fortunately I came in with dead leaves. Naughty)

Great video. I often found Rudy's wisecracks to be hilarious due to his awareness to the actions of the player, such as like when he says ''it's only pinball'' following the machine's tilting. Roy W Someone is going to get fired for this!
Ok thank you. Whats the cheapest you have ever sold one for?
+james hughes Well, back in the 90's this would sell for $2000 to $2500 typically. There were alot of very rough ones over the years we would not deal with (would need playfield replacement, etc) that would still work, but be "beaters" and those were selling for $1500 and less.
7.31 ehh ehhhh what did I ever do to you lol 😆
Hey Todd, do you have an estimate on how much it cost to restore a machine at your place? I have a funhouse machine that is in desperate need of a restoration and i would like to know. Also do you have an estimate on the shipping from Missouri up to you, any information is great, thanks.
Wat Man It runs $1800 to $2500 with the super bright LED's!
Yeah Todd! your´e right… they made 10.750 :D but… its a rare game(in Germany), i don't no why... but in the last 1-2 years the Funhouse isn´t seen as much as before 5 Years...
Midway-Man Well, its safe to assume that 1/4 of them have been parted out/destroyed...probably more. Many of the others are in private homes now!
TNT Amusements Inc Yeah i mean it´s a great game, it´s funny, it´s easy…
But the times were you could buy an Funhouse for 1000€ are over, now a Funhouse in(bad) shape starts at 1300-1400€ in Germany
I played this like everyday at FunSpot on vacation
Glad they had one working well!
Still taking your tie on AirBall and Tron Disc
I can't find any pinball in Massachusetts. The only ones I know are Ripleys believe it or not and South Park near me. Tnt. I would like to get a balley fireball pinball machine but can't find one and need help. In CA
+transformje We get them in occasionally (the digital version) and can ship to California between $325 and $350!
TNT Amusements Inc I'm looking for the mechanical version with the twister in the middle that shoots the ball around the playfield.
Are you planning on selling your huo funhouse?
vwpswp Yes...the moment someone comes up with the $$$!
Hey Todd whats the most Mass Produced Pin? you said Funhouse was over 10K
Addams Family...20,000 regular and 1000 Gold
TNT Amusements Inc its funny they made thay many but yet they sre the expensive older pin out there
In all honesty Todd the fans are not to bad. Would hate to see your boys overheat. Remember playing this one in an arcade until some one somehow managed to wreck the left flipper.
enigma776 Fans are off only as long as filming...and frequently, we come back and forth. The Funhouse video you see was filmed at three different times today, and put together tonight!
I Agree, I could barely hear the fan's anyways.. Hate for ya too get hot, but thanks for the consideration..
7:32, You did a slam tilt.
A slam dunk would have been better!
Hey Todd, you mixed up the colors of the mirror lights. Green belongs to "Quick Multiball" on the bottom. Only a detail. ;-)
I fired the imbecile that did that!
Why is the old rom revision L5 in the machine? L 9 is the latest i think?!?
Is L 5 better?
By the way, Harley-Davidson was the third game :D
Midway-Man One of the last things we do is the final ROM update...so all games always have the latest code!
I did notice something… "Say no to drugs" is not shown in rom revision L 9, i guess they removed it...
Midway-Man Dude, what confuses me is that (and yes i am aware that before midway discontinued they earned the rights to williams and atari) you use the williams logo as ur prof pic. but eh, thats my opinion.
The Williams logo looks better for me. ;)
when did they let you out of the crazy house todd?
Ahhhh...probably too soon!

Nice! Those are the sweetest names of all time. If I had 8 sons those would be their names.
Rudy reminds me of Fats, from the movie, "Magic". What a creepy movie that was!
gamermatt71 Yes...you are right! I figured I would use dummy clips in the NEXT Funhouse video!!
TNT Amusements Inc twilight zone "the dummy"
I have this pinball game at home we got it for 30 dollars beacuse it was just standing in a hotel and was not working and we fixed it and wow dude its so funny!

I would buy a home use only one!
Sadly, mine is sold now!
I know I got the Message :) I'll have my 'Person' call you when I am in the market for it.
