- 1983 Electro Technics Gun Slinger arcade gun game. This video shows the ElectroTechnics Gunslinger in action. The game works on compressed air (pneumatics), and reports your score on the gun stands LED display. The score is calculated based on three shots and how fast you draw and shoot the gun slinger robot in the cabinet. This game was made in the UK about 1983. It is an update to the 1960s Taylor Gun Fighter gun game.

Makes me sad there are so little of these mechanical arcade pieces left. I can't imagine what we could create today with intergrated electronics and how cool some new ideas would be
He calls you a smartass! Whata great game. Even though it uses real invention to make it happen, it oddly seems more 70s than 1983. Beautiful creativity by the makers. Quite intimidating!
I remember playing the bad bart gunslinger game at Coney island and east 14 street in New York. In the mid 70's.
wow brings back memories from Chi Chi's the restaurant. They had one in the lobby! such a cool game. wish they weren't going extinct
Played this at the Wisconsin Dells. His name back then was Black Bart.
I remember this on Butlins Bognor Regis when I was a lad circa 1969. I seem to remember the eyes would light up.
I remember this. There was an even older one I remember playing in the 70s
I came looking for the film version where the booth showed a clip and there was a twinkle in the bad guys eye. That was the cue to draw and shoot.
I can’t believe that this arcade game actually utilizes an animatronic they can interact with using a gun
I believe this is the same game that was at Knotts Berry Farm for years. Played it so many times. Great vid. Cheers
Put his face back on. I'm scared!
KEEP IT OFF HAHA
That's an incredible piece. I only saw one of those when they were new.
I love how it's got a cassette loop tape
Thanks for this I remember on holiday in filey Yorkshire 1983 I was about 6 and seen this game fascinated by it I was thanks 👍😎😎
Thanks Clay. Now you are ready for Cactus Canyon. I would guess that when the game was originally built it came with a small compressor, which probably burnt up in sort order. Hilarious that it was made in England, home of the Western gunfights on the Salisbury Plain.
Thanks for the videos! I remember playing one of these at Astroworld in Houston Texas in the early 90s.
they had this at silver dollar city ..i think... I WAS SCARED of it...when i was young!!!

i think they had this at disney land in the 1980s
I found this video searching for the one I saw at the Starcade at Tomorrow Land in 1993. It probably was this one, but I remember the character looking like a humanoid alien with green skin.
What's the cheat light for?
Thank you so much for this video. It is amazing. Do you know if anyone has one of these for sale??
He looks like he wants to play a game with you I think his name was Johnny Rio
