My favorite pinball machine. I used to play it at this arcade that was right next to the movie theater in Albuquerque, NM. We used to go to the game room when I would visit my dad during the summer. I miss those visits...and my dad as well as he passed away about a month ago. Love ya dad.
I used to play this as a kid, and looking back now Rudy is eerily similar to the dummy Fats in the movie Magic starring Anthony Hopkins. Great movie and great machine
There is a bar in my hometown, a very small town in Serbia, which has pinball machines amongst other stuff. I had the luck to play some of the greatest machines such as Funhouse, Dracula, Kings of Steel, Fish Tales, Centaur, Party Animal, and my personal favorite - Getaway II. Amazing things these pinball machines.
My favorite pinball game of all time. The party store by my house had it hidden away in a backroom. I might have been the only customer who knew it was there. Then one day it was gone and I was like WTF
super fun table.. my first encounter with Rudy was in a roadside stopover at Lookout Mountain TN. It was the only pinball they had, it was late, lonely & dark. When the game went into 'hate' mode, I had to say...it was disturbing. Fantastic!
That was my absolute favorite flipper 20 year ago.. :'o) .. Im very happy that a developer created a digital version for the IPad so that all fans can play this great flipper today. :0) ..
Ed boon does supply the voice of Rudy and Rudy does look like Ed boon, that is why Rudy has thick eyebrows, just like Ed boon does. I love funhouse! Best pin ever!
it is very true, the parts only seem to be getting more expensive as the years go by. and yet somehow new companies are still forming (Jersey Jack and some other Spanish company I can't remember off the top of my head). i keep hoping for a comeback in pins, been playing them all my life
@tattyadams I am probably the same way! Though it must be great to own an "extra mint" machine. I played only one, an Addams Family machine, in Northern NJ at Castle Pinball before it closed down (sadly after I played it, he sold it off right away). I am hoping one day these arcade owners will know the value of refurbishing their old machines.
i just nailed 29,377,600 on the Nintendo 3DS version! I'm falling in love with this machine and now i really want it in real life haha. I'm jealous of you
I didn't know that! I don't know if you're familiar with Black Knight 2000, but I found out Steve Ritchie, who was the voice of Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat 2 & 3, was the voice of the Black Knight. Now I thought I heard Shao Kahn's disembodied voice in that machine somehow :-P
Hi, it has a NEW diamond plated playfield as well as new ramps, plastics, decals, legs, glass, pin led displays etc, etc as in the description. Like the Altoids reference though ;-))
I notice you have twilight zone as well. I read somewhere that the clock on twilight zone? Was originally made for funhouse but they could not fit it in on funhouse so they used it for twilight zone instead.
I have it on the Pinball arcade but they lost the rights to bally and Williams last year so it's no longer available to buy, Now zen studios' Pinball FX3 have the rights to emulate Bally/Williams tables so it could well end up on that. Also, this has been emulated on either or both visual pinball and future pinball.
@@tgm9991 Oh, then I hope it gets done for Pinball FX3, I already have got a lot tables for that. Just looked up, it really is in Visual Pinball and Future Pinball. Visual Pinball did a quite good job back for the time it was sold, but in comparison to nowadays visual effects it lacks a lot of lightning and colors. Future Pinball doesn't look that well, when it comes to the original colors and the head as well and is annoying with all the movement. Really hope they do it better for Pinball FX3.
Wow, table looks amazing! I noticed that at 5:03 the score screen says "extra ball at 14,400,000 points". Is that a custom feature you created, because I only ever remember being able to get an extra ball in this game if either you got the gangway bonus enough times to activate the red triangle near the right flipper, or if you activated the "extra ball" feature from the bonus reward hole and for either one claimed the extra ball by succesfully shooting the ball into the windtunnel hole.
Ah, I didn't know that. I think I'd rather get an extra ball than a free game just because 14 million is a pretty good score for this table and a free game instead of an extra ball means you are that much closer to getting a game over and having to start back at 0 points. With an extra ball you have an opportunity to reset the mystery mirror and get all the rewards again including super frenzy and extra ball, plus get the gangway extra ball bonus as well, plus of course midnight madness. Just what is Rudy hiding underneath that trap door that makes him freak out so much anyway, it's pretty creepy lol.
my new arcade got this but the overhead lights reflect on the top part and you can't see to play, and they won't move it or undo the lights, so I had to watch this to see what I'm missing. sad.
I just picked one of these up for $100. It plays but needs some work. Do you think its worth it to spend like $1500 to get it fully restored? Thats what I want to do.
Joe if you're in to restoring pinball machines. If you just want to play FunHouse you can buy it digital for 5 bucks, and in working condition they seem to float around $900 to $1200, like most machines.
Haha! Good looking game, but "extra mint"? Really? Unless it came with a free box of Altoids then no machine is "extra mint". Extra mint is just a stupid marketing slogan used to jack up the price of pinball machines. Now, if it was "diamond plated", that would be worth paying premium for. "Extra Mint" not so much.

Brings back so many great memories
Same here.
@@mattpeer8537 nice name
I love getting jackpot on this game, or as Rudy puts it, "AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" :)
My all-time favorite pinball game! I love it when Rudy screams.
I used to play this as a kid, and looking back now Rudy is eerily similar to the dummy Fats in the movie Magic starring Anthony Hopkins. Great movie and great machine

This is my favorute pinball machine, especially when I was a kid. It is very entertaining, creative and funny.
My favorite pinball game of all time. The party store by my house had it hidden away in a backroom. I might have been the only customer who knew it was there. Then one day it was gone and I was like WTF
I like that there's a chance of the ball draining into another launcher, that's a neat feature. Also, props to the guy demoing the table, great moves.

Had this one at home for years, together with the Road Show. Rudy, Red and Ted in one room means party time! :-)
Stay away from the clock! Funhouse! Hahahaha!
An amazing pin! As you say, yours looks to be in great shape. You should be very proud.
That was my absolute favorite flipper 20 year ago.. :'o) .. Im very happy that a developer created a digital version for the IPad so that all fans can play this great flipper today.

Ah another I'd love to add to my collection of pins!
I played this back in the day and have played it recently at a local Arcade. :)
Ed boon does supply the voice of Rudy and Rudy does look like Ed boon, that is why Rudy has thick eyebrows, just like Ed boon does. I love funhouse! Best pin ever!
FAVORITE PINBALL MACHINE OF ALL TIME. SO JEALOUS, DREAM OF MINE IS TO OWN ONE!!!
awesome machine, great play as well, cheers!
Man, that scoop feed legit made me wince. The way it grazes off the sling like that is just... _gross._
thats a beautiful game you have there..........
oh man i neeeeeeeeed a funhouse so bad !
This is my favorite machine!
nice trapdoor jackpot right after the drain!

IMO Pat Lawlor's best game.

i remember this, a laundromat that i go to used to have this, it was a fun machine!!!!!!!!!!
This machine is also one of seven machines featured in the Nintendo 3DS game "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection".
By far one of tje greatest Funhouse pins i have ever seen, oh gosh, how I want one. Did you get the keychains as well? Very cool!
@ECG3485 And it's one of my favorites in that collection along with Black Knight and Pin Bot.
That made me smile, can I have some of what your on!!!

Loved this machine. Don't understand why there isn't a computer game simulating it yet.

or dead bounce it to the left for the lock? probably not consistently.. most real games have a variety of ways balls can come out of scoops
On the Pinball Arcade version of this, I got 30,8 mill on my second try. Though I suspect it's considerably easier on the PC with the nudging and all.
THIS is how all pinballs should play in arcades! nobody seems to take care of them anymore and it's a dirty shame.
Today I would call this pinball machine, "Pee Wee's Playhouse: The Pinball Game" :P
Which is name for screen on funhouse, swords of fury, banzai run and like?

Hi, you can change the settings so at the replay level where you would win a free game it will award an extra ball or points.

That shot never gets any easier though, maybe it’s just that I never get any better!

can you not catch it with the right flipper like you can on the pinball arcade for PS3?
Randy Senna from “Times Rememberd Arcade” in Wildwood, NJ IS Rudy the Funhouse keeper, go there you’ll see what I mean...
IT looks nice, but the scoop needs a rebuild. it's not working very well wit the kickouts.
I remember playing this at a pizza place that had sourdough crust pizza
Never heard that, intersting!
I remember Playing this on PinMAME!!!! I got it in his mout once!!! hahah it was hilarious BLERFHHHH and he spits the ball out
I didnt know that, thanks.
Nice!

Same thing happened when I played the Wii version. It sucks that this machine cost thousands of dollars.
Thanks but it's sold now. Great game but not a keeper, it is living in Ireland now.
Do you like Barney the Purple Dinosaur?
My Record is 50 Million :D
Not a lie !!!
Liar
My best score so far is 16,681,380.
Thats cos your good and I'm rubbish!
Its because people don't play them enough to afford the parts :(
My best is 62 millions :3
Ps4 you can play it for free!
my best is 25 million some pennies ;)

Very cool game. Williams was the 💩💩‼️☺️
