Absolutely incredible! Loved Blackened, wasn't expecting a full album death metal style so soon! You turned this album into a death metal album so perfectly, and just hits so much harder than any other version of the album, even Justice for Jason (as if that wasn't already way better than the original!). Not only is the bass upfront and personal as it should be, but even the songs on Metallica's that I've never really been a big fan of are turned into whole new songs that I love. To the point where one of them, the title track, is my favorite on your version! Love the bends and slides you added to it, gives it such a gargantuan sound (kind of reminds me of some of Far Beyond Driven). General sound it reminds me of what I love about death metal, it's got that stomp and groovy chug of Obituary, Bolt Thrower, and classic Sepultura. Love the melodic touches (like in Shortest Straw) you added too, creates an awesome contrast. Fantastic job!
I am hard core thrash. So, this really was something that I never really thought of before. It IS REALLY freaking INSANE!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Particularly, the guitar & drum parts are my favorite. Thank you!!!! 🤘
This is arguably the greatest RUclips video I’ve ever seen, and even though it’s not an official release, is probably the best music release I’ve heard in a while
I think I might have listened wrong because this made my face leak fluids of joy. Geezus Denis, your composition is in its own category. I’m sending this to everyone. For those of us that grew up on these records, having a brand new Justice after all these years is hard to even process. After a hundred or so listens to this record I can hear us saying “which Justice do you animals want to listen to?” “Man I don’t know they’re both so good!” “You’re right, Denis it is.”
Here we can see the solidity of Metallica's compositions for And Justice For All. Even changing genre, the core is there, the songs are recognizable and fucking great. Also, that highlights the AMAZING job you did. Best video on youtube, congrats on your dedication and talent!
This is absolutely, stunningly, impressively, and amazingly awesome!!! You rock brother! Thank you for all these redos!!! I need this in eight track, cassette, cd, Napster, and Spotify just to listen to anywhere and everywhere!

I can did it!!! And justice for all was the first concert I seen when I was a teenager growing up. This is pretty epic take on the album bro. I'm happy I stumbled across your music. You are now shaking the house
Dude!!! After 30 seconds, I was hooked! I sat through your whole performance, vocalizing along with you. My favorite Metallica album has been made even heavier!
Metal forever 🤟🤟🤟
I'm 50 and used to be fan of Metallica in my teen ages, this is a master piece guys your awesome to get the guts to record that I'm surprise to hear and listen to, as a death and black metal fan I like it!!!!
Ridiculously well done and thought out. My hat's off to you, sir. Even if you had half-assed the composition and restructuring, it'd still be lots of effort, but you actually made new songs of these. Kudos, brother
Started life as a thrash metal fan, matured into a death metal fan. Now we've come full circle and you've made my favorite thrash album even better. This is effin amazing.
This gets my vote for album of the year! 🔥 In some Back to the Future plot twist, Metallica didn't show up one day to record AJFA in the studio and Bolt Thrower was there down the hall in studio C. They did a studio take over for a day and this is the result. Secret recordings from the vault of metal history....
My English is too poor to express all my feelings about this masterpiece. Was not big fan of death metal, but now I will wait for all albums of Metallica sounding like this one!!!
[Cliff] always said, "No, there's somebody in their garage that hasn't been discovered that's better than you are." Even in the last year with Metallica, when they had made it, it didn't make a difference to him". This is a quote from Jan Burton in a book I read. She, and Cliff were very much talking about you. AMAZING SKILLS 🤘
This has been done in a way that makes it sound like it was played and recorded by death metal musicians in the very early 90s , well done indeed , i love how the drumming isnt over the top regarding the speed of the double bass and blast beats that developed after the 2000s in the more modern death metal sound , For me this is true 10 /10🤘
Awesome! Better than most of the Death Metal band Metallica tribute songs I've ever heard. I for one would purchase this album in MP3 or hard copy any day of the week.
Justice is one of my favourite albums and vastly underrated IMHO. This version is absolute fire...makes me want to hear this live at a gig with a massive pit circling! Great work!
This is so good. I'm not particularly fond of death metal but these arrangements, the sound, your singing, everything is just too good. You got yourself a new subscriber.
This is my dream come true. Metallica started my metal journey when I was 8 years old. Death Metal has been my preferred brand for around 20 years. The work and dedication you put into this is unmatched. Excellent work.
this really is the greatest thing i've seen on youtube. thank you for putting so much work into something everyone LOVES. if i could listen to this on spotify i'd be playing it all the time.
I remember sitting with my buddies watching the premier of the One music video and how amazed I was by that song at the time. Watching this is like a whole fresh experience with music I love. Thanks for all the work to put this whole album together. As a Metallica fan since '85, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Welp, you now have at least 3 more albums to cover (Anything after this album isn't worth it IMO). If you wanted more work for yourself, you've earned it because this is F-N' BRILLIANT! God I hope you do them, the possibilities are already floating in my head: Battery, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Orion, Fight Fire With Fire, The Call of Ktulu, Whiplash, Metal Militia......DUDE! Again, just brilliant! Thanks for this!
Dude, first video of yours I've watched and instantly subbed. This is fantastic!! I'm a little picky with vocals and I get an old school feeling from them. This sounds very authentic and I want more.
I'm a huge Thrash Metal Head and I also love Death Metal, this is one of the coolest things I've ever heard! I wasn't sure if you'd stick to the original arrangements at first, but I really like how you did your own thing with it! This is freaking siiick bro, I'm gonna be jamming out to this for at least a couple of weeks! Great job bro! Ps: You kinda remind me of the guitar RUclipsr Shred, I'm sure you're probably familiar with him. This is the first time I've seen one of your videos, I'm impressed!!!
What an achievement! Seriously, he called a crazy shot here and fucking nailed it. He never stopped surprising me throughout. It’s fascinating to take an album that’s famous for its jagged rhythms and proggy time signatures and render it all in a steady, midtempo, Bolt-Thrower-ass 4/4. That wouldn’t work if not for the imaginative and insightful approach to rewriting the riffs. Seriously, this is fucking awesome. Hails and all that shit.

AJFA is one of my top five metal albums, and this is SOOO good. Denis, I've been listening to your remake every day, straight through...
Perfectly translated into the language of death metal, plus you can kind of hear the bass.
hooorayyy, theres the bass tone. freakin awesome bro.
This is arguably the greatest RUclips video I’ve ever seen, and even though it’s not an official release, is probably the best music release I’ve heard in a while
It's on Spotify
@@greywebs1944IT IS?????
@@nickryder926 Yes 100% 🤘 Go check it out 🤘
@@nickryder926 Sure is 100%🤘
I think I might have listened wrong because this made my face leak fluids of joy. Geezus Denis, your composition is in its own category. I’m sending this to everyone. For those of us that grew up on these records, having a brand new Justice after all these years is hard to even process. After a hundred or so listens to this record I can hear us saying
“which Justice do you animals want to listen to?”
“Man I don’t know they’re both so
good!”
“You’re right, Denis it is.”
geezus like geezer butler? lol
@@layzabullit Geezer the GOAT! Well played sir.
This is crazy awesome, I can't even imagine how much work it took.
It’s like getting to hear this album for the first time again, yet in a different light. Thanks for that. Outstanding work 🤘🤘
I started to ask myself a most stupid question as to why this man is not in any band I know of? The obvious answer is, he IS the band.
Holy crap this is amazing. This is so cool that you’ve gone and re-recorded this in a death metal style… thanks!
You have outdone yourself Denis!!! This is so frickin' awesome!! I shared it with several people and listened all the way through from the very first note.
Man and with the old school Swedish death metal guitar tone and vocals like icing in the cake, excellent cover gentlemen salute
I can did it!!! And justice for all was the first concert I seen when I was a teenager growing up. This is pretty epic take on the album bro. I'm happy I stumbled across your music. You are now shaking the house
WHAT AN AMAZING MUSICIAN YOU ARE DENIS PAUNA!!! TOTALLY AMAZING WHAT YOU JUST ACCOMPLISHED!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS FOR US. AMAZING!!!
Yes, completely.
Dude!!! After 30 seconds, I was hooked! I sat through your whole performance, vocalizing along with you. My favorite Metallica album has been made even heavier!
Pretty damn good,great job..
Metal forever 🤟🤟🤟
You are a metal genre combining musical genius! Both the creativity and the musicianship! This is fucking brilliant!
I'm 50 and used to be fan of Metallica in my teen ages, this is a master piece guys your awesome to get the guts to record that I'm surprise to hear and listen to, as a death and black metal fan I like it!!!!
Cliff is smiling down on you for that bass tone.
Just an amazing take on this album, a dream come true I never knew I had.
Ridiculously well done and thought out. My hat's off to you, sir. Even if you had half-assed the composition and restructuring, it'd still be lots of effort, but you actually made new songs of these. Kudos, brother
The Shortest Straw has always been my favorite song on the album, and what you did with it is incredible!!! 🤘
Started life as a thrash metal fan, matured into a death metal fan. Now we've come full circle and you've made my favorite thrash album even better. This is effin amazing.
Continue like that and you'll soon be looking at the abyss of black metal...
i'll recommend u look into dissection, then emperor, then maybe darkthrone and stop on burzum. don't get into nsbm please sir.
@@deathndoom.Dissection rules, it's my number 1 ever BM band and still is
Thought this was gonna be done by AI. So impressed with your skills and this style. Bravo dude
52:00 I was wondering what the staccato riff was going to end up like, you did not disappoint. I am touched.
This gets my vote for album of the year! 🔥 In some Back to the Future plot twist, Metallica didn't show up one day to record AJFA in the studio and Bolt Thrower was there down the hall in studio C. They did a studio take over for a day and this is the result. Secret recordings from the vault of metal history....
jup, definitely has some early BT vibes indeed
Gods, This is fantastic! Well done, sir! Your interpretation of 'One" is brilliant!!!!!!!
My English is too poor to express all my feelings about this masterpiece. Was not big fan of death metal, but now I will wait for all albums of Metallica sounding like this one!!!
Amazing!!! This is brutallica
One reminded me so much of Bolt Thrower haha
This is one sick rendition, thank you for making this!
Please do ride the lightning , this right here is awesome , just the guitar alone is insaaaane !!!!! Great content man
[Cliff] always said, "No, there's somebody in their garage that hasn't been discovered that's better than you are." Even in the last year with Metallica, when they had made it, it didn't make a difference to him".
This is a quote from Jan Burton in a book I read. She, and Cliff were very much talking about you. AMAZING SKILLS 🤘
This has been done in a way that makes it sound like it was played and recorded by death metal musicians in the very early 90s , well done indeed , i love how the drumming isnt over the top regarding the speed of the double bass and blast beats that developed after the 2000s in the more modern death metal sound ,
For me this is true 10 /10🤘
Bro. These riff adaptations are so sick so heeaaavy love the trem picking on and justice for all during the solo sounds just like the mercenary album
Spectacular job amigo. Abrazo Mexicano!!!

If I could express my approval of the cover of One, I would. But I am completely speachless.
The whole album's cover is beyond praise.
Thank you! 🙏
Request: If Metallica wrote Hells Bells by AC/DC
Have the bells at the beginning be the ones from For Whom The Bell Tolls
YES!
Take the three bells songs. Hells Bells by Ozzy. For Whom the Bells Toll by AC/DC, Centre of Eternity by Metallica.
Thank you so much! There will be much more of it! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@DenisPaunaI have been subbed for quite a while, and this hit me out of nowhere as well. Love ya, bud. Keep up the great work! ❤
Dude. One is absolutely incredible.
"Frayed Ends" kills too. This is a REALLY fun project.
Sounded like bolt thrower to me, wby?
@@RoRo-vr6wx definitely, and I freaking love Bolt Thrower too!
Absolutely Excellent Work! As a Fellow Guitarist, I Salute You Sir!
Keep Rockin'!! 🤘🤘🤘
