I couldn’t have good posture until I started going to the chiropractor. I wish I started going in high school because I wanted to have good posture but I literally couldn’t stand up straight. It’s crazy how connected the emotional/physical is. You have to work on both :)
Love how you didn’t just make this about popularity in school. I find it hard networking with people sometimes, because iv grown up being anti social my whole life, so i found this helpful. ❤️

I am the cliché of a nerd; frizzy curly hair, not super attractive, and zero social skills. I don't know why, but I just don't seem to show emotions naturally, even though I do have them (I swear!). *How* do your learn to connect with others? What to say, how to use your voice, how to keep a conversation, how to not come across too weak or too strong? Because it is a pretty big hindrance in my career, my social life, and other things. I often end up being seen as the 'looser', even though I really do try. I try to learn a lot about body language and these things (nerd), but there is just something that doesn't work. I just found your channel, and I hope to learn a lot from it. So thanks for the video! :)

So true about posture. I have moments when I think i've been a jerk and I take this position of humility and it always ALWAYS looks like I'm slouching and shoulders in - It's kind of my repentance mode. After doing it for a while I feel I have repented. LOL
I haven't finished the video just yet, but I was on the Super Woman pose... I'm sorry, I used to believed that too. I saw the super emotional Ted Talk about it... Turns out, that has been disproved by numerous studies. Posing like Wonder Woman won't boost your confidence. If anything, watching that Ted Talk and believing what it says, can create a placebo effect, but it doesn't mean it works by itself. Whoever, the rest it's true. Even if you're shy, standing straight it's going to give the idea (to others) that you are a confident person.
