The HZs are absolutely bulletproof in stock form. It's until you chuck a turbo on and wind them up they become problematic as the pistons aren't designed to take the extra heat.
I’ve got an 80 it’s an absolute beast totally love it.. I think the windows not working is just on yours mate.. definitely need to get an aerial like that totally next level that thing, mines gone walkabouts somewhere 😂😂.. mines a Japanese import so the speedo is in foreign comes with fridge & 2 ice trays in centre console (working) & has a massive glow in the dark compass & my car is about to roll over thingy next to it on the ceiling centre console, doesn’t get a second button though.. cool vid well funny 😂😂..
Nah the window thing is a common meme amongst owners. I've had many of these and only 1 had windows that worked properly. The runners go. Also the hand brake is always crap I currently have prob aly the same as yours the jap import. and the windows didn't work lol. I've replaced them all now

One of these hit me once. It was only as the guy drove off that I saw it was actually a Land Bruiser. Thank God there aren't too many about.

HZ is not a turbo engine so it is either just a 4.2 or 1HDT
1HDT is a turbo Diesel engine. 1HZ is naturally aspirated diesel
