I'm a sprinter and last year I had a impressive season. My coaches, parents, and I expected great improvement and even better times for this year's track season, but unfortunately everything was cancelled because of Covid. I have been trying to run miles because tracks aren't open, and sprinting in my neighborhood is difficult. Frequently, I just can't find the stamina and willpower to continue and keep running the full mile to reach my goal time. Sprinting is very different. Your videos and lifestyle have given me motivation to keep pushing. Thanks so much!! (just subscribed)

The pros do their easy runs at a much slower pace than race pace. Like one and a half to two minutes slower. Great video though! Thank you for doing it
Easy runs and recovery runs are different pace! My recovery runs I go slower but easy runs I go faster. I’m not doing any workouts so my easy runs are at a faster pace but when the season starts it will be MUCH slower. Just listening to specific paces given by my doctor:)
Neena Schramm at least in central and north Florida it’s not that bad but in Miami where I run it’s deadly hot at 8:30am and humid that’s a reason why I hope the FHSAA season starts on time cause i don’t know if can continue in this heat
@@GabrielGarcia-ht8sr when i ran in middle school, they always had our races at like 4 pm and 95 degrees, no shade, no breeze. i remember laying down after the race and not being able to stand for like 10 mins. rip to us, hopefully the season works out for you!

800m repeats help with endurance and speed! Where you’re at I think 6x800m repeats with 2 min rest is good. Also: set a timer for 30 minutes and try to run the entire time. You’ve got this ☀️

i wish i could run i’ve been doing it six weeks and can just run 2-3 miles at a 9 minute pace
You need to be training and pushing yourself harder cuz if you keep doing the same thing over and over again it’s not gonna make a difference
