Wonderful! I know my arrangement has been played by many people around the world, but I've never had an opportunity to hear it until now. It sounds wonderful on the viola - very well played!
Sigue buscando. Yo lo encontraba porque estaba buscando música por una boda. Y hay sitios como musescore que tienen muchas partituras. Y creo que es mucho útil aprender leer música para violín y tocar en viola como está violín (como cuerdo A esta E en violín). Buenas suerte!
Hi, I had been playing from a violin part, but, I recently asked the arranger if I could make a viola arrangement of his arrangement available, and he kindly agreed, it's available here: musescore.com/user/33311356/scores/9620572
@@Remy4300 So there could be a variety of reasons. First, I'm assuming you have reasonably new strings, and your bow has rosin on it and is at a good tension (firm but not too tight). Strings get old, and the thicker strings (C, G) lose their tone quality more easily when they get old. You don't need new strings constantly, for most amateur players changing strings maybe 2x a year is probably enough to have good tone, in my opinion. If you *do* have decent strings on, and your bow has rosin, then the rest of it is mostly down to your contact with the string. You want to have good solid contact with the hair mostly flat on the string and in between the bridge and fingerboard, drawing the bow straight across the string, not at an angle. And you need to have decent bow speed for the amount of pressure. Too much pressure with too little bow speed and the sound will be choked, too little pressure and too much bow speed and the sound will be wispy. Good tone is not simple, especially if the instrument is mediocre. I grew up playing on cheap school instruments, and it made me work really hard to get good tone, but it's definitely possible.
It's amazing that I'm exchanging messages with you in Houston through RUclips. Anyway, your performance by accident is great. Take care. I live in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, Korea. Hi.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It's truly great how technology shows ya to interact across the world. Also, one of my very favorite videos of a violist is from Korea, you might enjoy it also: ruclips.net/video/nnOoAnLL7vY/видео.htmlsi=A9UGQ0adYj5oKcpM
That was true. I've been meaning to come back to it, finally gave it another go today: ruclips.net/video/PoOvIrVjBls/видео.html Still not perfect, but hopefully better! :)
Amazing! I play viola too and it’s nice too see people play viola because everyone plays violin.
Thank you! That's part of why i started posting videos, i felt there should be more viola content, across different types of music.

Like people say, there's really only one path: practice. :)
