Rachel great discussion. Reese is very good within 5 foot of basket. Clark as a guard plays court wide. Two different positions and responsibilities. To be a Guard huge difference in responsibilities in the game.

Imagine being so good at ball that your own team mates can't even play with you
Thats what CC has to face here
Players who can't catch her passes because her passes are to fast and hard
    To unexpected at times

But because her team can't play anywhere near her level and all they do is hold CC back

It's the history these 2 share that make it a rivalry. They faced each other in high-school, college and now in the pros.

Page and Cark ( or another player) can create a seperate rivalry but won't be like Clark and Reese.

Celtics fans want 0 to do with Perk and we are not being petty Perk is petty. He is salty because in 2022 he was totally behind The Celtics and picking them to win The Finals they came up short and let him down so ever since then he has been straight up disrespectful taking shots at The Celtics every chance he gets ! Instead of just saying they are young the moment was to Brite he has to be a little baby and do nothing but criticize a great team with a bunch of really high character guys on it. Perk acts like his era of The Celtics were perfect or something when in actuality they underachived that team should have won more than 1 Championship. Pound Sand Perk your either with us or against us obviously your against us. Everyone that doubted The Celtics ate their words as well BBLEED GREEN 💚 CHAMPS 🏆!!! 🏆

It is essential to distinguish between the terms "slack" and "flack," as they have different meanings and connotations. The correct term in this context is "flack," which refers to criticism or negative publicity. Using the incorrect term "slack" can lead to confusion and misinterpretation.

    • @destinypirate
      @destinypirate 4 дня назад +1

Your note is reminiscent of the new fashion of using the word "notorious" in place of ''famous''. Sigh. Then, when people could use notorious correctly, they become uncertain and fall to using "infamous" - also incorrectly. Sigh.
On an unrelated note. During World War II they would call for "Flack Breaks" during humanitarian air runs. Since the original reference is dated we might better repurpose this phrase for domestic harmony purposes.

After yesterday I have a whole different perspective on Reese. Her energy, motor and determination is unmatched. She is indeed a dawg. Give me Reese over cc. I can find a decent guard that can pass and shoot threes but to find a relentless player with hella heart and that’s gonna fight til the last buzzer you can’t find so easy. That girl has great basketball IQ that I didn’t give her credit for. Reese activated her mamba mentality 32:44

Other than "Reese over CC" agree with everything else you said.
We found out Reese is much MORE than her so called villain rep ( for ex. cheering a teammate enthusiastically on a non basketbal cheap shot, or petty postgame comments).
But My eyes first opened up the previous game where Reese got 16 points, 18 rebs!

Um, well, Smith played flatfooted and Sides was afraid to put Boston on her (and risk foul trouble). The Fever were missing their most athletic center, Fegbenli... You may want to reserve your judgements until you see Reese go against a strong front line. Nice game though!

Nah, she gets away with so many fouls, she should foul out by halftime every game if they weren't propping her up. She can't shoot beyond 2 feet. Smith is just a horrible defender and it's the coaches fault for not putting someone else on Reese.

27:46 Victor Wembanyama already said at a press conference that he has no relation to Chet Holmgren and every time he plays against him, he has special motivation. Victor speaks what has in his heart. He is authentic. Same thing for Angel Reese. Why this difficulty in accepting her personality? She didn't say anything wrong that justifies the attacks she suffers. She is young and has the right to make mistakes. What shocks me is this extreme demand on her behavior even from people who say they like her. But I haven't seen anyone, other than Nick Wright, say that Caitlin Clark should have taken a stand sooner against these extremists who have been attacking all the WNBA players on social media.
