  • Lia Thomas was recently banned from competing at the Olympics in Paris this summer. The transggender swimmer lost her challenge against the Court of Arbitration of Sport in Switzerland, when a judge ruled she did not have standing to bring the case.
Is this transphobic, or is that a win for protecting women's sports?

The fact that Lia Thomas and these other "Trans athletes" refuse to compete against the Men...really let's you know what this is all about.

Women need to start reclaiming their sports that they fought so hard for. Men will support them.

The issue is that after transitioning they can't realistically compete against men because the hormone therapy causes physical changes including a loss of muscle mass. So in terms of physical abilities a trans women that has gone through puberty as a man sits somewhere in the middle between biological men and women. The same applies in the opposite direction, i.e. if a biolocial female takes male hormones to transition that person will gain muscle mass and hence will gain a physical advantage over women not taking such hormones, but will not reach the physical abilities of a biological male. Unfortunately these things are more complicated than some people consider them to be.

The women on that swim team were made to feel extemely uncomfortable jn their own locker room and were allegedly told to change elsewhere if they were uncomfortable. Thomas was still dating women at the time while joining the women's swim team and had all of a man's working parts.
According to Riley Gaines she actually tied with Thomas but was told that Thomas would be one one to take the podium and recieve tge trophy. Gaines was also frustrated claiming that while she was puttinf her all into that race, Thomas seemed to be coasting, barely putting in much effort while still tying with Gaines.
I would love to see you do a clear, level headed video on all of the issues that come up in these situations.

There was a proposal to create a trans division for the Olympics and Thomas is declining competing there. So, as far as I’m concerned, this case is no longer about trans issues at all. It’s just about Thomas’ personal stakes. Women’s sport has existed for a long time and for the most part, female athletes are grateful for its existence as it has enabled them to make livings and pursue their dreams in the sports world. They don’t see it as some kind of declaration that they are inferior to men. So, why is that logic lost on Thomas? Because it was never about being trans. It was never even about equality. It was about chasing superiority to douse the feeling of inferiority.

No here's my opinion I think it was not transphobic Because did not make me a misogynist and I believe protecting women's sports will Thomas is now AKA Lai Thomas I think you know they've been her for a reason she's a transgender woman and I don't believe in transgender women it is in the Bible God says if you was born as a man then you're a man for him to change his identity noun as a woman that's wrong for women sports and I'm glad that somebody step up and protect women's sports and banned for life for competing in Olympics.? @ohitsbaileyy

def a win, should be banned from regular divisions aswell , bio men and females compete separated, or force them to participate in mens division or make a new class that is "open class"

Summer of 93' I was 12 and my 13 year-old gf beat me in arm wrestling so much I'd get frustrated. Running against her was even worse. 1 time I had to apologize to her for being a jerk because she was fixing to beat me up bad. Like a year or later all those advantages she had were non-existent as I had gone through puberty

If he wants to compete. He should compete against his own kind and not deprive women of their victory.
