My wife is going to like this game whether she wants to or not
Lol
When I see tokens that need to be flipped I think it’s always good to upgrade them to plastic. Especially when they are used to hide information cardboard token can get scratched and get markings that make them easy to spot.
Looked fun and fast paced but still very immediately tactical
hey, include that 6 siege shirt on the pledge manager.
So excited for this one. The only thing that throws me off is how backwards peeking seems. I would think you'd use the peek marker to be the upper half of your body and remove it (go back behind cover) to un-peek. I'm guessing this was a design choice? I otherwise absolutely love how well you guys have re-created the video game with the mechanics of this. I'm definitely going all-in.
Dear Leo, I must admit that I was not at all, but then not at all interested in buying this game. However, after seeing the videos in French and then in English, I changed my mind. "There are only fools who do not change their minds". It will be a Premium all-in for me.
Well done to all your team for their wonderful work. Sincerely yours.
Wow!!! This is the best compliment we could have! Thank you, Marc!!! 😍🤩🙏
That was fun to watch!
Greta video, can’t wait for the game.
I cannot wait to get my hands on this! Getting all of the expansions!
Made my Kickstarter pledge today. Looks fast and fun . Can hardly wait to get my copy. Thanks guys for this play through. Most helpful.
also...where can one pick up one of those mythic or 6siege polos?
Super keen on this game guys.
Very good and intresting game play. I can't wait to play the game when it arrives. I will certainly try out the TTS version. But first I have to find rules for the control and Bomb mission
Awesome!!! Can't wait for the campaign! Is there any chance you will go into language versions other than french and english? Like german for example?
That would be so amazing and easier to get to the table! Love your work!
Why is there a gun on the bottom left of the table?
I like the timing thing, a min per operator you have. Things can get sweaty the more outnumbered you end up.
What is the Overwatch thing tho? It's not explained here and I am wondering what it means to the game play.
This would be the video to make me pledge... if I hadn't already pledged 😅
Hello, could anyone clarify how shooting / over watch works when upstairs I’m still a bit confused on it
The game is VERY interesting. Only hoped they would make it a less complicated like the lean feature seems a little unnecessary
It just needs to be more intuitive. The model should be in cover. The market should be out of sight.
Where did you guys get that dice tray?
Allez a mardi ;)
Is there a way I can purchase this board game???
Take my money! Also are there any updates on Darkest Dungeon delivery or is November 2021 still valid?
Really nice gameplay thanks. I'm curious, what the rules about defender reroll?
I'm not sure but I think each team have one re-roll for the whole game.
@@mooncorp212 ok nice, thanks.
As @mooncorp said! Each team has one reroll for the whole game!
Those low profile tokens that your opponent can't see hiding behind furniture seem like a problem... I hope they're tall tokens in the final game.
The operator how many actions can play in a turn?
I prefer Mythic Games’ original projects.
So one player plays with miniatures while the other moves around tokens in this mode?
Hi @DriedMoss! Thank you! We have original IPs and licences, we do a mixing today (original IPs take a long time to develop!). We’re very proud of this one! To answer your question, in this game, the player playing the Defenders use « hidden operators » tokens at the beginning of the game. 2 hidden operators for each Defender operator: 1 is the « real » defender, the other is a decoy. See these tokens as « blips », a bit like in Space Hulk. This simulates the fact that the defenders have prepared the place, the traps and gadgets there, and the attackers don’t know exactly where they are. So the attackers have to spot them. What you need to know is that the defenders eventually will have to play with their « real » miniatures: as soon as the defenders are in Line of Sight of an attacker or a gadget (like a drone), they IMMEDIATELY flip over the token to reveal if it’s a decoy or the real miniature. At this point, both tokens are taking out and the Defender’s miniature is placed on the board.
@@MythicGames Thanks for the information!
now I can understand what is being said!
Enjoy !
Any idea on the price range of the core game with painted minis?
Don’t think there is going to be a painted option.
Can’t wait for this!! Any idea on price etc?
Core game 69$
@@Chris-AT Its hit the target, yes!! Does this mean the $69 dollar versions don’t come with 3D tables and other furniture etc? Looks like tis feature is locked to the $195 option.
@@MrScottson1 3d elements cost 39 Dollar extra. If you want plastic forniture, else you get cardboard forniture. And the 3d elements are only in the 269 dollar pledge included.
But you can go with 69+39 if you want the plastic 3d elements :)
But ibhonestly think thatvthe cardboard looks good enough.
@@Chris-AT So in the $69 base version we still get the cardboard table & other interior furniture? The price upgrade is just if you want actual plastic versions of these? Thanks
This game looks awesome, but had hopefully a question that someone might be able to answer.
At 33:50 why did Jäger not get to block two shots due to light cover? Shouldn't Jäger have survived that shoot action? Or did I miss something?
Yes, he should have had cover so he would not be dead. They forgot that.
@@estilniap Thanks for that! Glad I understood the rules. You also reminded me how much I'm looking forward to getting this one :)
I am a big fan of Rainbow Six and I will back this, but here are some of my suggestions:
With so many components on the map, I honestly think that the map grid should be bigger so that stuff don't push one another and there is plenty of empty space on the board to do this. I also think that square bases for operators would be better but maybe this is hard to change now :/ Finally, the damage numbers seemed pretty high to be honest. 1 shot kills always feel bad and don't get a chance to mitigate randomness. Other than those things, the rest look sharp.
Will there be a Polish version of the game?
i dont get the Overwatch of Glaze 40:25 the Active Player comes in sight of the passive Player ( in overwatch) and shoot him dead...
If I watch a Door and something moves there, I should have the first shot!?!? Or did I miss something importend?
It doesn't seem to be a door but a wall. Defenders were able to shoot through the wall because Glaz was pinged (red marker), meaning Pulse discovered his position and "told his team mates" where he was. Notice how doors have green barricade standees and other walls are drawn in the same fashion as the wall in play here (white and black stripes with a red square in the middle). My bet is you cannot shoot through the rest of the walls (plain thick white line).
@@AstuWar ahhh ok. Thanks.
But there was the other situation one round before, the guy in overwatch was right next to the other one...got wounded and then killed him in response with overwatch, but if he got killed, the overwatch would be useless
@@fredl91 About that situation: Kapkan (defender) was in the room in overwatch. Blitz (attacker) got in the room through the smoke so Kapkan's overwatch reaction shot didn't trigger. Blitz now had two options: a) shoot Kapkan or b) go into overwatch. a) Shooting Kapkan MIGHT have killed him but then Blitz's turn would have been over and he would have been vulnerable to Kapkan if he was not dead and any other defenders (the attacker is not aware that the Jäger (defender) token closest to him is a decoy). b) Going into overwatch, I THINK, Blitz gets a reaction shot against any defender action in his line of sight, and he is in overwatch until his next turn, so he can take multiple reaction shots during a single overwatch, not just one: Kapkan moves? Blitz reacts. Kapkan shoots? Blitz reacts. Jäger comes in? Blitz reacts. The attacking player felt safer in taking the risk to overwatch instead of shooting because of his shield's light cover (-2 to received damage).
@@AstuWar ok thank you, have to watch it again with the ne knowledge
Good discussion, thanks Andres for clearing it up!
I think the they should consider changing overwatch - thematically, the person on overwatch should fire before the other players action. So Kapkan would declare he is attacking Blitz - and then Blitz gets a shot before Kapkan acts.
