Thank you for sharing your life !! I have handicap parking due to my Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. I have been literally yelled and cussed out bc I am not "handicap or old enough ". Really wish more people would understand not all handicaps are visible by just looking at someone. Sending love

I find it sad that this even needed an explanation. Thank you for still being positive while trying to educate people for something that shouldn’t need and explanation to anyone.

Handicap parking is not only for people who can’t walk, it’s for a disability!

Some people are so nosey and ignorant to the facts! It might look like she walks fine but for some of us long distance is not possible

Yep, I get so many steps in a day. So even in the morning when I'm feeling good, I still park in handicapped space. Every step I save is one more step later.

Not only that, but Terra has one non mobile child and two with autism, our kids with autism can’t assess danger always so it’s safer for them to be closer to the building. Plus anyone could have any number of invisible disabilities, such as Terra when she was undergoing cancer treatment

WOW, it would have been nice to simply ask not assume, I have spinal injuries & have even been in a wheelchair before, I have a handicap placard, one day out I had a group of people be very rude to me for parking in a handicap space, it’s none of their business my health conditions but it would have been nice for them to ask instead of judge, bottom line can we all just mind our own business🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes totally agree . My daughter is special needs and just started walking a year ago. We have a handicap place card be cause my daughter cannot walk long distances and I had a lady yell at me and accused me of taking advantage and that I should not have a handicap card. People are just mean. She did feel pretty stupid after I told her my daughter had just learned to walk and can’t walk long distances.

Gets me is I'm critized by both handi and norms. Handicapped should understand but don't. And some think they deserve the space over another handicapped.

What’s so sad is that you are explaining yourself 🫤 and to me you don’t have too it’s what our dr feels that we need it or not. Me and husband get looked at from people like “why do they have handicap?” And honestly I don’t care they don’t know what’s wrong with me…. Some people can be so mean and ignorant 😢

We understand why, this is not a new phenomenon. This is also not normal, I appreciate you trying to make light of your situation but I also feel sorry. As humans we all have challenges. Period. Collect your disability checks and be happy. Normal people actually have problems also.
