You're the reason why I started collecting cacti and succulents! I love how you decorate your home.
Aww yay, that's awesome! Thank you! 🤗💖
@@christinekobzeff u r so sweet and beautiful
I want to spend time with you
I love you so much
I really love you
I also recently learned that stephania erecta is victim to poaching. They grow on cliffs and hillsides and are frequently poached from the wild since they are such slow growers when grown from seed. I'm not sure how to avoid supporting this practice so I'd urge folks to make sure they purchase from a sustainable supplier (someone who grows stephania from seed) or better yet not buy this plant in the first place. I am looking forward to seeing Christine's grow though!
Thanks so much for this video! There's not a ton out there about these and I've been toying with buying one for a while, but just wasn't sure what it needed. It's SUCH an elegant plant😍🌿
I’m so excited I’ve just ordered one of these! There’s really not much info out there about these little babies, fingers crossed I don’t kill it because they are craaaazy expensive here 🤞🏼🤞🏼🥰
This is on my wish list and it’s so gorgeous! Thanks for the great video!
So funny that you upload this video as I recently purchased a Dioscorea Elephantipes and it has sent me on a caudiciform learning/buying frenzy. A Stephania is next in line (almost definitely an Erecta or Nova!) Thank you for making such relaxing, helpful videos. Definitely a highlight of the day when I see a new upload from you.
Thanks for this video! Mine has been struggling to put out leaves for awhile and this has been super helpful. I'll be moving it to a higher light location and watering it more
I love that little round pot. So cute.
Oh My Gracious!!!! How are you Sunshine? Christine!!! I’m going to binge watch your plants but I’m really trying to organize my house & it’s so overwhelming!!! On my way to watch your videos!! Love&light from California 💗💗
Christine, you put so much knowledge and care into your plants and content that makes RUclips enjoyable for more mature people. Thank you.
Ps. Would you please help with tips on Strings of hearts? Your look amazing! Mine is super stringy. Please help!
I’ve been looking for this plant. I grew up in Oahu. Would love to support this seller. My only caution is the cold winters of east coast. I hope mines can look this good so quickly! Thank you for all your tips!
Enjoyable and entertaining, thanks, Bill.
So funny you made the video now hehe
I have ordered a bulb several days ago and I am waiting for the parcel :))
I was glad to have found a medium sized bulb here in Europe it was around 9€ which I found was a good price :) can't wait to see this plant grow it has such a unique look :) although winter is coming here soon so I was wondering for care tips for this plant :) your video is right on time haha
Another great video. Thank you for sharing
Yours is growing beautifully. Have had my stefania erecta for over a year now. Last season I was still trying to figure it out and didn’t get too many leaves when I realized it wasn’t getting enough light. Now that I’ve given mine more light, currently it’s gotten many leaves but not as large as yours. I water mine once a week so maybe I’ll try twice a week and hope to get mine to look like yours. The dormancy period i water it once a week. This and the Phyllanthus mirabalis are the two caudex plants I have. I love them cause they’re so unusual.
such a cute little plant 😍
I just got mine today I hope I can take care of her good enough , I’m excited it has 2 sprouts not much root 💚🌵🙏👍🏼TFS
It'ss so crazy I just saw this video. I just bought that plant off of Hirts Garden and supposed to be coming next week.Hopefully mines look as just as good as yours because Hirts is not known for shipping plants in the best manner ,so wish me luck and I'm glad I seen this video!
Ahhhhh now i want one!!!
I have not tried growing a caudiciform but I find them interesting. 😃
Big Hugs Sweet girl....always a joy to see you....I too have plants that you have brought to my attention and I am loving them....
I live in NM and it is hot and dry here too. Your aroids seem to be doing beautifully! what temp does your plant room stay at in the summer and winter. I am happy to see everything doing so well in humidity below 70%. How is your Dioon Edule doing? I'd love to see a current pic. Love your channel!
I know nothing of botany, I’m a chemist but I LOVE watching this videos 😉
I have one of these I traded for at a local swap, I recently learned that almost all stephania bulbs that are being sold are being poached 😢 So sad to think about them ripped out of cliffs, but so so beautiful
Very interesting. Wow video lot sooner. Keep doing more thx. Hace a great day too
I love that plant 🌱
i would love to see your crystal collection
I love your videos, any suggestions for how to keep the Erecta on autumn and winter, once the losted all their beautiful leaves. Thanks!!!!
to wake these up you need high humidity and warmth. I had mine under a glass dome and a grow light 18 hrs on 6 off.
Hi there. Came across your RUclips channel today because of the Stephania Erecta and wow did your erecta grow so fast. Mine took forever and it grows only the stem with lil bit of tiny leaves at the top and I know why now after watching your video. I find that your video is very informative compared to other RUclips channel. I've got a few Stephania myself, i. e Erecta, Venosa, Suberosa and the marvelous Nova(Kaweesaki). Sadly my Erecta not as luscious as yours maybe because lack of light and I'm still learning about it. Definitely learnt a lot from you. More video on Stephania pls. Lots of love from Malaysia
Oh how cool
What a fabulous plant....can I ask what you do for bug control Christine. I am really into orchids but recently purchased an anthurium clavinervium and alocasia zebrina and am awaiting a gloriosum and dark lord....very excited to grow my collection
Love these plants but do you know what I miss your nail videos! Would you not do them again?????
Love it.. where is the pot from?
☺️☺️☺️ love from Singapore !!
Hi Deana! 🤗💕
What?? It grows so fast?😍
Erecta wow
Can you please show us how you handle the spider mites?
I’m a long time subscriber! From your Pink So Foxy Days!! I loved meeting you at the Swap Meet where I bought Swarovski Crystal bracelets. Would you share the sellers information? I’d love to support local! I have one Stephania Ercta my boss just gifted me! Would love to add one more!!!
That lucky plant!
Love this and the pot you chose ❣️ can we know the name of the Etsy seller? I like love to order one
These plants are everywhere in my area, they are a pest! Central Coast, Australia.
LOL G'day from WA.
I had no idea, it makes sense though, I've always loved all things Australia! 🙌
Ones trash is another's treasure
Can you dig one out and mail it to me in Canberra, the indoor plant stores online want a fortune 😅😅
Isn’t it funny, I live in Montana and struggle to keep tropical plants alive, I go visit my sister in Florida and they just grow in the ground there 😆
Can you share the link for the seller you purchased from please
I would like to know also. I’ve had this on my wish list since you posted the video. Thank you.
My brother-in-law just gave me a cutting from his Monstera deliciosa. Any advice on how to propagate and take care of it?
💚🌱
I sprouted my with a plastic zip bag on top of the pot and on a heating mat last spring. But she did not do too well and now I understand mt watering schedule was too low 😭
Same here! Mine had sprouted and then I accidentally knocked off the stem when watering. My 'baby potato' sprouted three more stems in it's place, then stopped growing. I realized she was extremely dehydrated and stepped up the watering schedule. Her three tiny leaves dramatically grew in size and her bulb is no longer shrunken. She's finally taking off! 😃
I just got my first stephania here in winter in January in Ohio. Is it going to be dorment till spring? What should I do with it in the meantime?
Which Etsy shop did you order your Stefania Erecta from?
Where can I purchase one from?
Where did you get your pot
Where did you get your erecta plant
You let it dry out
