1920 Influenza (the Corona virus of 100 years ago) upscaled and colorized

As Corona virus covid-19 is said to be spreading throughout the world, it is time to look back to the Spanish flu epidemic of 1918-1919, which was far more deadly than what we're seeing sofar today. In this short clip, Fox News Story 2371, which was filmed in Chicago, a few ways are shown how to treat patients who have the flu.
This video has triggered me to read more on the topic. I don't want to do politics here, but I noticed some weird similarity in how both then and nowadays newspapers were used to spread fear. In both cases the pandemic was and is mainly a political thing. This may be culturally dependent though. If you want to life a long life: think twice before getting vaxxed.
