I agree with all of these comments. From the get-go Lexi has had THE BEST reviews: in-depth, thorough, knowledgeable and great comparisons without the faux enthusiasm. I always check Lexi’s reviews and comparisons before buying anything new. At this writing, other than Lexi’s channel, I only watch Andrea A’s channel for make-up. But not for product comparisons and reviews, more for techniques I will never master. LOL!
Hi Lexi, you are the first I've seen to review this collection. Everything looks beautiful on you btw. For some reason, in my head I just thought that the packaging was metal so I am surprised it is plastic because the packaging was what was drawing me to the collection lol. I'm glad to hear the quality of the products is sound, but for those anticipating a higher quality packaging I think they will be kind of disappointed. Thank you as always for your hard work and honesty. ❤️

Chantecaille is losing me. I used to buy every collection. I have the pink blush. The packaging belongs with a drugstore product. For $75 both the product and packaging need to be high quality. New owner is maximizing profit clearly.

@@elainebines6803 Yes -- I used my pink bubble WA powder with the beautiful heavy component and then picked up the cheap flimsy Chantecaille blush that's the same price and same size and the difference was striking.

I have one of the lip sheers. It reminds me of the Suqqu Moisture Glaze lipsticks, which have it beat, IMO, for pigment, longevity, and moisturizing. But you look so fresh and pretty in this whole collection. Chantecaille really does that well. I have their Future Skin foundation and Skin Tint and love them. They have historically made products with elegant formulas. I miss their former, beautiful packaging though. That used to be a big part of the brand image. I hope they bring it back. Thank you! I miss the old packaging too. I have been told that there will be great things this year that are reminiscent of the older items but now that we are basically halfway through, I'm starting to doubt that. I'm glad the quality this time is great for the products at least.

Thank you so much for reviewing this collection! I’m tempted, but I’m trying to talk myself out of it. Chantecaille is often disappointing, and it’s a red flag that the weight shown on the website doesn’t match the component/packaging.
I agree. They have had the collection up on the site for weeks so it should have been accurate by the time of the launch.
I honestly think it is Sirena just maybe tweaked the slightest bit lol. I’m bummed I was really hoping for a totally different shade… come on Chantecaille! I hope they are reading comments. I do love the blushes though. Beautiful and thorough work as always Lexi xoxox

Sirena looks definitely more yellow toned while Sunstone more brown-toned. Sirena is the most beautiful bronzer ever. Thank you for comparison!

Lexi, been waiting for a review on this collection. The shades of the bronzer and blushes are better than I’ve seen in a while from them. Pretty expensive for plastic packaging that’s disappointing. I’ve always liked their lippies and these look really nice. I do like the shade of the bronzer & coral blush so may get sucked into buying them & ignoring the packaging 😆. I think the bronzer & blush looked nice as eyeshadow. Thank you for reviewing & the swatches!! 😊🌺

Lexi thank you! I was waiting for your review. For the blush shade confidence, how similar do you think it is to Chanel fantasie de Chanel blush which was limited edition? Looks very similar as you were swatching.
I'm in the midst of reorganizing but I'll try to find that one and swatch it soon. I think they are pretty close. I couldn't find it yesterday when I was filming. It's a disaster in here!

Thanks so much for this review- I hoped you would take a look at the new Chantecaille collection. The bronzer is a no for me as it’s just too warm, but I do like both blushes, which surprised me. Like you, Akoya is my favorite Chantecaille blush; it’s just so pretty. I do think that Chantecaille needs to improve its packaging for the prices charged. The last few releases have been handicapped with the light, plastic packaging that damages easily and I’m very careful with my cosmetics. Thanks again Lexi.

The results speak about the products. Yes you have a stupendous skin and regime but the impeccabile and superior quality of Chantecaille is there.

Hi Lexi! Thank you so much for investing in and honestly reviewing Chantecaille’s entire summer 2024 collection! Since you had already posted Chantecaille’s reply regarding the new bronzer shade, I knew it would be too warm for me. The blushes, on the other hand, are tempting.… Chantecaille’s lip sheer formula is not my favorite, so that is also a pass. (Nice to see Sadie in the background.) TBH, and to echo others’ comments, Chantecaille has been cheapened by its new owners. I have not been pleased with any of my purchases since the company was sold, so though I am tempted to acquire the blushes, I will wait and see whether they make it into your “favorites.”
I really wish the blushes were less expensive or at least in better packaging because they really are the star but the combination of the high price and cheap packaging is so disappointing!
It's a no for me. A cooler bronzer might have peaked my interest. At this stage I have so much makeup that something needs to be very special to draw me in. The pink blush reminds me of French Rose from RMS.
I thought that too but the Chantecaille is cooler. I finally bought the rest of the RMS blushes and I need to open those up and share them.
I bought the lip sheer in the EMPOWER and really like it . I also used to buy everything from chantecaille and was waiting for reviews this time . I have never had one of their lip sheers before and bought all colors because I like the formula and the price . As far as the blushes and bronzers , I too want a cool bronzer and a matte blush .. thanks for this Lexi

I like Serena but have a warm olive undertone so a more golden shade immediately made me 😍. I think I’d like this shade more than Serena. BUT I already have 3 of the 4 shades of the RMS baked bronzers and they are absolutely beautiful on the skin. They look gorgeous on the eye too! I don’t need this now. I feel the same way about the blushes. They are pretty but the RMS blushes are outstanding, do the same thing, have a huge shade range, and I already have them.
As for the lips…I am all in on the Suqqu lip Glaze and YSL lip products. The Chantecaille looks pretty, but I have plenty of this type of lip formula.
Chantecaille used to be MUST BUY for me, and I looked forward to seeing what they’d do next. But now their releases feel a bit… stale. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me because I just have more luxury makeup now or there is more out there to be had? I’m rooting for them to wow me, but they just haven’t lately. They don’t seem to be trying very hard with their releases in what they are or the packaging. I still love the gel foundation and rose glow tint, but the limited edition releases just aren’t capturing me lately. 🙁

I really have to get the RMS bronzer! I love their blushes. I've had the bronzer sitting in my cart but haven't ordered yet. I agree that Chantecaille is feeling stale. They seem like they are "phoning it in".
I saw your sneak peek video last night, so I’ve been anticipating your review of this collection. I particularly like the blush in Energy, and even have it in my cart on Chantecaille’s website. The bronzer in Sunstone is very pretty, but after just purchasing two of the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow palettes, I can’t justify purchasing this. Personally, I love the Goa shade, although I never picked it up. I believe Chantecaille has discontinued that shade. After seeing the lip sheers, I really like Empower and Optimism. I can always use a hydrating lip product!

It’s been awhile since chantecaille made anything new that makes me want to hand my money over for. Too unimaginative for the price, I think. I think I bought just a single blush from that sweet meadows collection, and it was just ok, and that’s the last thing I’ve bought from them. I had been waiting for reviews, so thank you!

Thankyou for this, wow the whole collection! I was lucky enough to receive a bronzer in my beautylish lucky bag. Unfortunately though, not goa which is the one I really like as has a red tone in it - I'm sounding really ungrateful but I'm not. Fortunately will suit my daughter who is in her 20's. I think I'll pick up something from the collection, just not sure what. Will have to watch video few times and then I'll decide 😊

I agree with you Lexi - some other e.g. new eye pencil etc to tie in this new collection would have completed things. I have Goa bronzer and have loved it for it's red, rather than orange hue - you have inspired me to dig it out again, especially bc it is on the costlier side. Considering how expensive it was, I do find that plastic packaging to be a disappointment though. I haven't bought Chantecaille since the La Perle collection - the cool pink highlight powder is absolutely gorgeous and Akoya is lovely - again you have inspired me to dig these items from my (albeit limited) collection, out. I have foolishly had the tendency to 'keep things for best' which means they don't get used - so silly!
The new bronzer looks nicer than the previous one, although it still seems to lean a bit orange from what I can see, and with a light olive, leaning sallow complexion, I don't think that tone would work for me. I do love seeing the swatches of everything and want to thank you sincerely, bc it really helps those of us trying to make sensible choices on a limited beauty budget 😊
I do the same thing with favorites of mine (clothes and stuff too) where I save them instead of using them and I'm trying to break that habit.

I haven't purchased Chantecaille's past several collections. This does look nice (colors not packaging). Might try something. Not sure yet.
If I had to pick one thing, it would be a blush based on the formula but the price is a strong deterrent.
Those blushes look like the ones in the blush/highlight duos with the whale shark and (I want to say) stingray packaging
I agree but these are creamier. I don't have those any longer but I prefer this formula.
I do like the Chantecaille bronzer formula but their packaging is trash both my bronzers packaging broke so I depotted them. For the price they can do better. Well done video Lexi! Thank you!

The gold packaging I got last year, holiday maybe, looked so pretty but felt light and cheap plastic - but it did look nice with the gold flakes - but it immediately started to pit and flake off - and I treat my makeup gingerly, not letting it scrape a slide around so shouldn’t get a scratch - in fact, when it launched I got duplicate from another store that I sent back bc it was already pitted with gold rubbed off - so I didn’t have hope for mine to stay nice long if a new one right out of the box was already messed - and I was right to be wary - this season’s plastic packaging looks like that pretty color is going to flake off and look horrible in a month - I’d like to see if influencers go back and show us how the product holds up - of course, by then, no returns … but something to keep in mind for filter purchases

That is such a shame! My holiday items have held up so far but I've had issues with Chantecaille's packaging peeling in the past.
The blushes are gorgeous, I will wait to see if Nordstrom puts them on sale in the future.

No similarity in texture, definitely similar size and shape but the PMG packaging is more substantial. This feels flimsier.
The blushes are very pretty but too expensive! The Rare Beauty are shimmery too but more affordable. Speaking of expensive beauties, I might have already written that I'm completely in love with the brush travel set Rae Morris is going to launch... OMG!!! 🖤❤️
Oh that brush set is stunning! I really want it but I have her other travel set so I'm on the fence. It's definitely a luxe price tag.
@@LexiJong I just saw the set on her website and is stunning! 😍 But the price in Australia will be $1299 😳. Yesterday I bought 3 more brushes from her regular line. All the brushes I have from Rae Morris are extremely good and beautiful but VERY expensive. The Pro Powder brush which is a size of a cheek brush in other brands is $170. Back to the new limited edition set I probably skip it. I wish she will sell the brushes individually but I know this will not happen. 😟
Are the blushes as shimmery as the rare beauty blushes? Do they emphasize texture?
I don't have the rare beauty blushes but I don't think they are as shimmery. No issues with texture for me but I don't have a lot.

Lexi I love chantecaille products but the prices just high. First, I’m sorry but the bronzer looks too orangey to me. Looks pretty but not for me as I would definitely want more cooler in tone. I have Sirena which I like texture but I think I don’t use often because it’s warm.

Thanks Lexi- I agree with you- an eye quad or duo would have been a nice addition to this collection to make it feel more cohesive.. I do like the new bronzer a lot…Chantecaille must be leaning into a more minimalist aesthetic. One thing I personally dislike is their “Peta approved” endorsement. Peta is a nasty organization, known for so many under the radar cruel practices that many pure bred breeders, such as myself, are all too aware of. I know they are using it as a marketing term which irks me.. a few other companies do the same thing.
I agree about PETA. I am not familiar with all of their practices but I have heard enough to know that they are hypocrites.
I would love the bronzer (and I have the two other ones you compared) but this will no doubt be over $100 Canadian so I likely am skipping 😢
The prices are frustrating and honestly, if I had known the packaging was this cheap...
I am curious about the lip products, but otherwise it is a no for me. I have both goa and sirena. I like them. Nowadays, so many high-end brands are releasing new products, new formulas with good packaging, or lower prices, i just dont think we should settle for expensive products with cheap packaging and tiny amounts of products.

Hi Lexi 🙂 So glad you did this review : to me the packaging is a deal breaker considering the price and the bronzer looks nearly identical to Sirena when swatched so I bet they would look even more similar lightly applied on the cheeks and for the blushes nothing stand out from all the recent blushes releases ... a big pass overall

Unfortunately Chantecaille has lost me as a customer. Their prices are crazy for, in my opinion, meh makeup in cheap packaging. There is so much great, high end makeup available today. Hi Lexi, Chantecaille ,I just not interested anymore. Very basic, nothing unique, a few great products they had for holiday collection, never restocked… I think they should concentrate on the products, that ppl want to, not these new mediocre collections, who they think they are - Chanel? They can’t. Afford to continue this way …. So nope nothing interest me. I am very selective these days… I don’t rush. I just now purchased Dior poppy color blush. I decided to get it, cause I think it’s warm tone. And I don’t have real coral blush. Have a blessed day🙏❤️

PLAstic ?? What ? For that price ? Ummmm No. I have a quad and to be honest. I don’t like their glitter shadows. Fall out like crazy. I do own 2 blushes. And their pressed powder , the cushion foundation and tinted moisturizer And the pearl single shadow. They aren’t worth the cost Sadly. The packaging used to be amazing. I didn t know they had a different owner ? I have the older ones like 2yrs? And I dont even wear them. The blush I do
They sold the company a couple years ago and I think the ownership transfer was completed last year. I was told that now that there was an infusion of cash into the business, we were going to see more stuff like we used to with the decadent packaging and high quality products but I have yet to see any evidence of that. The packaging seems to be getting cheaper.

I think,only my personal thought here,that this brand pretty soon is going to be gone,because there is no creativity or originality coming out anymore plus they do frequent sales.
That definitely could be the case. They have to make changes somewhere to survive.
What a MISSED Opportunity. 🫣 Ithink the Look of the Packaging is Lux But We All have experienced that Lightweight Plastic Feel in other Releases and in some products of their permanent line. Makes it Not Worth the Spend. Some of the Most BEAUTIFUL pieces I have are from Chantecaille… Sadly those worth the Price only seem to release every Couple/Few years.
