I just saw her in concert last month and I was in awe. Such poise, humility, and of course that voice. Spoke to her briefly after the performance, and she's a sweetheart. Hearing her sing Guess Who I Saw, sublime.

Samara Joy 🎤🎶 is not only a special vocalist and jazz singer, she's a warm, humble human being. ❤️ Met her and gushed over her at the Birchmere in VA for her holiday concert. She autographed her debut vinyl album for me. Treasure. She's simply wonderful. Exquisite. 🔥 There aren't enough words to describe this anointed vessel. I've already booked tickets for her next performance near me. Can't wait. Samara is well on her way to greatness. ✨️

1st heard about her today on CBS this morning. OMG. As a musician and agent who thinks he is really particular about talent this girl gave me chills, made the hair on my arms stand up and made my jaw drop. In a time when music is more production than music Samara really is a joy.
I saw Samara this year at Montreal jazz fest. She was amazing. Also she wrote the lyrics to this song, Nostalgia.
My wife & I heard her live in concert last week with Robert Glasper. She is even BETTER live. We were completely BLOWN AWAY! Just engrossed, captivated, inspired, impressed, and in love with her presence, stage presence and voice. Just amazing! Can't wait to hear her live again! Highly recommend her live concerts. HIGHLY!

She is going to revitalize jazz music! She sounds so beautiful. Her high register is so ethereal. She sounds as if she modeled her singing from Annie Ross.

I heard this young lady for the first time about 3 mths ago. I thought I was listening to Sarah Vaughan. This number, Nostalgia, is my favourite. It was obvious to me from the phrasing that she had put words to a sax solo for the middle part of the song, and I had to find out who’s solo she was rendering so beautifully. After a little searching I discovered it was the late and great Lester Young’s. Her performance is simply outstanding. So on point. To hear such greatness from one so young, WOW! Bringing sounds of Sarah & Ella into the 21st Century. She’s also bringing back the art of the late Eddie Jefferson, who was the first (but not the last) to put words to famous horn solos back in the 1950’s. I’m happy to hear she is being recognised in the industry and I hope she inspires more youngsters to put their spin on the classics.

I just stumbled across her video and am in awe! I am a 60's baby so I know good music. I have blessed with an ear for good music. When I heard "End of the Road", I remember saying, "That's going Platinum" and it did.
I refuse to pay to see certain artists. I am more an old school kind of girl but that baby's voice is timeless.
